I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Nancy at the Front Office of Hotel Constance Belle Mare. From the moment we arrived, she showed exceptional consideration toward my 86-year old mother's needs. Nancy was consistently efficient, attentive, and genuinely caring. She arranged a late checkout for us without hesitation and checked on us daily to make sure my mother was comfortable. Her professionalism and kindness madw a meaningful difference to our stay. Thank you Nancy, for delivering truly exceptional customer care. You made our expetien e memirable and we are deeply grateful.

We had an excellent experience with Kailash as our driver at Constance Belle Mare Plage. From the beginning, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional, and helpful. He always made us feel comfortable and ensured that every journey was smooth, safe, and enjoyable.

Kailash was always punctual and reliable, and his positive attitude made a big difference to our experience. He was very polite and respectful, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about providing excellent service. Whether it was helping us get to our destination or simply making sure we were comfortable during the journey, he always went above and beyond.

It is rare to meet someone who combines professionalism with such a warm and friendly personality. Kailash truly made our experience at Constance Belle Mare Plage even more enjoyable, and we are very grateful for his kindness and outstanding service.

We recently spent our honeymoon at Constance Belle Mare Plage and even now that we are home, we genuinely cannot stop talking about our time there.

Mauritius itself is beautiful and the resort is stunning, but what really made this trip was the people. We expected beautiful beaches, amazing food and a lovely hotel; we didn’t expect to leave feeling as though we had genuinely connected with so many members of the team. The warmth, humour and kindness we experienced throughout our stay made it incredibly difficult to leave!

There are far too many people who deserve a mention, but we really wanted to recognise some of the people who made our honeymoon particularly special.

At the bar, Rishi and Adrien became a huge part of our holiday! Rishi, the Bar Manager, and Adrien kept the Ti’ Punches and Palomas flowing throughout our honeymoon and always made stopping for a drink feel like a celebration. We unfortunately didn’t manage to catch one of Adrien’s cocktail masterclasses before we left, so I think that alone means we have no choice but to come back! We also had such lovely service from Ansley, Pascal and Vahinee, who contributed to so many happy evenings throughout our stay.

At breakfast, Sweetie absolutely lived up to her name. She made sure we started every day with a smile and was just such a warm, cheerful and lovely presence each morning. A REAL Sweetie! ❤️

Then there was Robinsen at Deer Hunter, who kept our dinners extremely entertaining with the ongoing Manchester United vs Arsenal rivalry with my husband! 😂 He also introduced us to the AMAZING green chilli paste, which we became completely obsessed with. Kamlesh also looked after us wonderfully there and helped make our dinners at Deer Hunter so enjoyable.

Our evening at Blue Penny Cellar ended up being one of our favourite nights of the entire honeymoon. Wadie and Yovilen were absolutely fantastic – the service, food and wine were impeccable, but they also made the whole evening so enjoyable and relaxed. We had such a great time and our only regret was waiting until so late in our stay to visit Blue Penny, because afterwards we wished we had time to go back again and again! Cameron was also part of the wonderful service we received there and deserves a mention too.

A very special mention has to go to Kailash. We bonded with him almost instantly after he spotted my husband walking around the resort wearing an Arsenal shirt (a shirt that I had actually told him to leave at home, so it turns out bringing it was a blessing in disguise)! From that point onwards, Kailash was always on hand for absolutely anything we needed. He gave us so many useful recommendations, helped us throughout our stay and genuinely seemed invested in making sure that we had the best possible honeymoon. We will remember him for a very long time.

And then there is Navish, Navish went far beyond anything we could reasonably have expected. He arranged an incredibly romantic dinner for us at the beautiful La Barachois, which was such a special experience, and then somehow managed to top even that on the final day of our honeymoon. He worked with my husband to arrange the most beautiful surprise for me, and it became the perfect cherry on top of an already incredible trip. Navish, Sharma and the team from Villa 5 made us want to unpack and stay even longer!

Navish and Kailash, in particular, made an enormous impact on our honeymoon and we will forever be grateful to them both.

What really stood out was none of these interactions felt forced or transactional. People remembered us, joked with us, asked about our plans, gave us recommendations and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were having the best possible time.

By the end of the honeymoon, there were members of staff we actively went looking for because we wanted to see them before we left!

To Rishi, Adrien, Ansley, Pascal, Vahinee, Sweetie, Robinsen, Kamlesh, Wadie, Yovilen, Cameron, Sharma and the Villa 5 team, and especially Kailash and Navish – thank you! ❤️

We absolutely have to come back… if only because I still need to attend Adrien’s cocktail masterclass! 🍹
