Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives

We had an amazing stay at Kuredhivaru, and the whole experience genuinely went beyond our expectations. Of course, the island itself is stunning — crystal-clear water, beautiful beaches and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere — but the food deserves a special mention as well. The quality and attention to detail were exceptional, and their house-made pastries in particular were honestly on another level compared with what we have experienced at many other resorts. Even the smaller details, such as their homemade raspberry jam and miso, showed how much thought goes into the food here. Once we had the chance to speak with the chef and learn more about what they make in-house and the ideas behind the food, we appreciated it even more. There is a real sense of care behind the dining experience, rather than simply offering a large selection of resort food. And ultimately, what made our stay truly memorable was the people.

A very special thank you to our butler Li, who was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. She arranged all of our activities efficiently and made everything feel effortless. Whenever we needed anything or had a question, she was always there to help and responded incredibly quickly. Having someone so attentive, reliable and efficient really made a difference to our holiday.

We would also like to give a special thanks to Janiie, our yoga instructor, for the lovely freshing sessions and her warm and curing energy; Gihan, the manager at Bodumas, for always taking such good care of us and making our dining experiences so enjoyable; and Nevel and Sobah, who took such great care of us during our fishing trip and made the whole experience both fun and memorable. We truly appreciated the warmth and kindness each of them showed us.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the entire Kuredhivaru team. One thing that really stood out to us was the personality and genuine warmth of the people working here. Everyone we met, regardless of their role or department, was incredibly friendly and would always greet us first with a smile.

But what made it even more special was that it never felt like the kind of polite small talk you sometimes expect at a resort. Once you started talking to someone, it was very easy to find yourself having a real conversation and wanting to know more about them. The conversations felt natural, sincere and personal, and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know the people behind the service.

That human connection was one of the most unexpected and memorable parts of our stay. Kuredhivaru is undoubtedly a beautiful place, but it was the people — their warmth, character and genuine hospitality — that made it truly special for us.

We spent our wonderful honeymoon at Kuredhivaru Resort & Spa. We had an absolutely fantastic time here. The scenery is breathtaking with crystal‑clear lagoon and gorgeous white‑sand beaches. All the staff members are attentive, responsible and always ready to help. Our stay was comfortable and memorable. We would highly recommend this resort to everyone.
