Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Island
Mercure Maldives was the perfect location to relax. It is a friendly hotel with staff making you feel welcomed. The villas are spectacular with the most incredible views.
Manvi was absolutely wonderful along with Thloma ( I greatly apologise for the misspelling). The bar staff over the last few days have been friendly too. A big thank you to the head chef and staff who made my husband feel incredibly special at dinner. It was a beautiful way to spend our fabulous holiday.

Wonderful 5 night stay with direct flight from Melbourne as part of the new Luxury Escapes packages. Excellent service by EVERYONE at resort. Warm welcome by Sandeep who settled us into our beach villa and was available throughout stay to help with any queries. ALL of the staff at both restaurants were magnificent, so many, hard to remember all the names, Poppy, Manvi, but literally all staff were amazing. Food was excellent, particularly enjoyed a few special dinners at Vista. Special mention to Will at the Dive Centre. He took us on the guided reef tour and also the snorkelling trip to the Sandbank. He was very knowledgeable and we felt much more confident snorkeling with him. We saw a turtle, reef sharks and a pregnant grey nurse shark! Small resort with intimate feel, was pretty quiet when we were there, and although low season had spectacular weather. Highly recommend!!

“ EXCEPTIONAL “
So from the moment we arrived & were met by Sandeep, our go to for everything, we knew we had made the right choice. The island is “STUNNING “, the people ( Will & the dive centre team, Poppy, Marvi, I apologise but cannot remember all the guys, but everyone was tremendous ) are so beautiful & attentive to all our needs & wants. Nothing was too much trouble or bother, everything was 5 star. The food at both Vista & Anita was exceptional, you will never be hungry & the taste & service, once again 5 star. Our excursions, the Reef Snorkeling, The Sand Island, & The Dolphin Cruise, were so much Fun & Educational with learning about the Reef & all the Sealife that inhabitant’s the Reef. Will is a walking Encyclopaedia in regards to the Aquatic Life & The Reef itself. Again 5 stars. All up, we so enjoyed our stay at Kooddoo Island Resort so much, I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone who needs a break, to getaway from the rat race, to see a part of the world that is Truely Spectacular. With People like Sandeep, Will, Poppy, Marvi & everyone, ( I apologise for lack of other Names) who helped us along the way, “ THANK YOU “ our stay with you was “ EXCEPTIONAL “ luv ya all, E xox
Great resort place in Maldives
It’s been a very enjoyable stay at the resort. The staff are very nice and helpful. We got assigned a butler, Lilithe, who had taken care of us in the activity arrangements and other issues. Also, staff at the restaurant was very nice, esp. Poppy, who always greet us with a smiling face. Overall, it’s been one of the best resort experiences I have over the world
Unforgettable experience
Thank you Mercure for giving me this wonderful experience in Maldives! I was greeted by warm hospitality and excellent service since my arrival. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, caring and professional. Whenever we had requests the staff would help us quickly. The massage service was excellent and our donning experience has been awesome! Sorry we didn’t remember everyone’s name but all the staff were wonderful! The room views are awesome (we booked the water villa) and the environment was relaxing and clean. I especially loved the gym room and the massage experience. We had two photo shoots there, one in sunset and one in the morning. The pictures were gorgeous and we were so blessed by this wonderful experience from Mercure. Thank you everyone, especially our butler Lilith who gave us warm welcome, excellent service and great suggestions. Highly recommend this resort to couples. ❤️
