⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Special Experience at Cocoon Maldives 🌴✨

Cocoon Maldives is the kind of place that makes you forget about everyday life and simply enjoy every moment. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful beaches, turquoise water, incredible sunsets, and the perfect island atmosphere. 🏝️🌊☀️

Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and always kept spotless. A huge thank you to our room boy Moosa, who was incredibly kind and hardworking. Coming back to a perfectly prepared room every day made our stay even more enjoyable. 🙏

The food was fantastic, with a great selection and plenty of variety throughout our stay. We never got bored with the choices, and every meal was something to look forward to. 🍽️😍

What really made Cocoon stand out, though, was the people. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely friendly. Our Island Host Jazey deserves a special mention — he went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and that we were enjoying our holiday. He was always available, helpful, and made us feel truly looked after. ⭐️

A big thank you as well to the Excursions Team — Tom, Yusru, and Nizam. They made our trips enjoyable, exciting, and memorable. The excursions were a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the Maldives beyond the resort. 🐢🐠🌅

We also loved the evening entertainment and night activities. There was always a great atmosphere, with music, entertainment, and something to enjoy after dinner. 🎶🍹✨

Considering the quality of the rooms, food, service, location, activities, and overall experience, we felt Cocoon Maldives offers excellent value.

We came for a holiday and left with beautiful memories. 💙🌴

Cocoon Maldives is definitely a place we would recommend and happily return to. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The cocoon Maldives experience starts as you leave the airport and are greeted by the cocoon representative, I was guided to the TMA baggage drop point were all bags are weighed; Tip; TMA are very strict with the weight limit so total of 25 kilo per adult is the maximum any more is chargeable. not sure if children get a weight allowance.

From there its off to the cocoon lounge, which is air conditioned, were snacks and soft drinks and tea/coffee are available whilst you wait for the seaplane.
Once at the island you are given a tour of the island in a golf buggy the island is not that big 22minutes to walk the circumference so a stroll yourself will soon take you to all main places. I stayed in a beach bungalow on the sunrise side of the island which was very spacious and contained everything needed for your stay. outside the villa on the beach were two sun loungers dedicated to my room. The room had two beach towels for the loungers. On the whole the staff on the island are amazing from the bar staff to the restaurant staff and room cleaners. At this point I will address the one slight negative aspect of this trip, on my return home I received a text message from the island host asking for three five star reviews and positive comments on this site. whilst I am sure this is not encouraged by the management of the island it should be discouraged. I replied with a simple "No" to the request. positive reviews are earned not requested.

I would like to thank the unknown sand artist who left drawings outside my room most days.

I will also give praise to Tei, Saya and Dian who are the three ladies who greeted me at every meal in the Octopus restaurant with a smile and always found time to have a few words with me and other guest no mater how busy they were. The waiters within the restaurant quickly brought drinks to the table and again had time for a chat about the day particular mention to Noon who was always cheerful and quite funny.

The food in the Octopus is fantastic with lots of choice and includes live cooking stations including pasta, fish and stir fry. The food on the Maldivian evening deserves a special mention as do the local ladies who cook some of the food which was amazing. I also had a meal in the Japanese garden this time which was very good, it is a little expensive so be prepared to pay a little more if deciding to eat here.

The staff in the bars are also excellent Daali, Sharky, naaih, lina etc never let people wait too long for for drinks and again always ready for a few words with everyone.

If the weather is good I recommend an early evening drink in the Karum bar the sunsets here are not to be missed.

The snorkelling in this area is very good with lots of fish life as is the snorkelling close to the manta restaurant where you can see the conservation work being done to help corals recover.

My passion is diving and during my stay I managed 33 dives over 14 days and was never disappointed. On the boat were Yoote, who greeted me like a long lost friend , the boat captain who navigated us to the most amazing dive sites dropping us at exactly the best point to start the dives. Kalam, who looked after my kit on board and helped divers be ready for each dive. My thanks to both of you for the help during dives. Also thanks to Jamal, dive centre manager, who allowed the trips to the channel when we may not have had the exact numbers on board to merit the trip.

Finally I have to praise and thank my fabulous dive partner, not guide, Rebecca she took me around some fantastic dive sites made them all informative pointing out sea creatures that I would not have seen without her presence and made the dives fun. Not only that but she delayed a personnel trip for a few weeks once she was aware that I was returning to the resort which was amazing, she is a marine biologist and is very knowledgeable don't miss her dive presentations in the Loabi Loabi bar on Thursday evenings in a short presentation you can learn so much.

The resort is small but that adds to the charm of the place, having been to the Maldives on multiple occasions this is probably the best and I will return
