Coco Bodu Hithi Resort

This was our first time to travel to the Maldives and we honestly don’t know how any other holiday will compare to our experience at Coco Bodu Hithi. It was everything we could imagine and more.

From the reception we received as we stepped off the boat until we left was amazing.

Dhana went above and beyond to accommodate us in anything we asked for, from booking our meals to organising our sunset cruise.

We couldn’t fault the meals, everything was so fresh and any adjustments we asked for our meals was not a problem with the chef’s.

Last but definitely not the least what made our holiday unforgettable, is the staff. We have never ever came across the most friendly group of people. Always greeted us with a smile and remembered our names. From our pool cleaner, room cleaner, massage therapists to the bar/restaurant staff. They went above and beyond for us. Amazing.

We will be back in the Maldives some day, and we will be staying at Coco Bodu Hithi.

An Amazing Stay at Coco Bodu Hithi Maldives From the moment we stepped onto the island, we received an amazing welcome. Coral immediately greeted us in such a warm and friendly manner. We were offered refreshments and a cool towel to freshen our hands and face, which was a lovely touch after our journey. Coral kept in touch with us throughout our stay via WhatsApp and was always available to answer any questions. She also kept us informed about all the activities taking place around the island, which made our stay feel very well organised and personal. One of the most pleasant surprises was discovering that we had been upgraded to a Residential Suite. The island itself is absolutely breathtaking, and our suite was beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean. The restaurants offered a huge variety of dishes, including a wonderful selection of exotic fruits. We particularly enjoyed being welcomed by Joy and Sami whenever we entered the Airs Restaurant. Joy always made sure we were seated comfortably and that our table was prepared with water. Her attention to detail and warm manner really stood out. We also received excellent service from Younus at Stars Restaurant. He always had a smile on his face and made an effort to speak with us, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Liton and Akhtar were also incredibly friendly and always encouraged us to try their dishes. Moshin was exceptional in both his manner and service. He even remembered that we enjoyed masala tea and would bring it to us when he saw us at breakfast — such thoughtful service really made a difference. We also had a wonderful snorkelling experience with Rishey. He was very patient, helpful and supportive throughout the excursion, and he kindly provided us with some lovely footage afterwards. It was a memorable experience and something we will treasure. Another beautiful surprise was when Coral arranged special anniversary bed decorations, along with a cake and a non-alcoholic bottle of grape juice. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our anniversary even more special. We were also provided with complimentary snorkelling equipment, which was a fantastic benefit and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful house reef and surrounding marine life without having to pay extra for equipment. A couple of areas for improvement The only significant disadvantage for us was the very high price of the private dinner setup. However, Coral was extremely helpful and suggested a much more affordable package, which we felt was much more reasonable. I would also suggest that the bathroom area in the Residential Suite could benefit from better air conditioning or ventilation, as it becomes extremely hot in there. One small suggestion I would have for the resort would be to add a beautiful, Instagrammable beach swing or lagoon swing, perhaps with a subtle Coco Bodu Hithi sign. With the stunning turquoise water, palm trees and natural beauty of the island, it would create a lovely photo spot for guests and another memorable feature that people would naturally share on social media.

Overall We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Coco Bodu Hithi. The breathtaking island, beautiful accommodation, fantastic snorkelling, variety of food and, most importantly, the warm and friendly staff made our experience very special.

A huge thank you to Coral, Joy, Sami, Younus, Liton, Akhtar, Moshin and Rishey for helping make our stay so enjoyable. Their kindness, attentiveness and genuine hospitality will be what we remember most.

Excellent property great experience however please stop offering the so called "cruise experience" It's not a cruise It's a horrible fisherman's boat which just kills the vibe Not worth it at all Excellent staff except a few a the dinner buffet who are obsessed with a certain crowd and ignore the rest Otherwise very courteous helpful and always smiling
