Ramada Resort By Wyndham Kusadasi and Golf

Honest review the pool was the only good thing about the hotel. Food every night was fresh fish. We went to talk to guest relations for two reasons:

1. It was one of the children’s birthdays so wanted a cake and a table where we could all sit round - They told us only 10 can sit to a table and wouldn’t amend anything.
2. The kids food was Lamb Kofta’s and Turkey! Where’s the chicken nuggets chips and pizza!?

Whilst at the resort our baby bottles were thrown away we can only assume and nowhere sold them so had to struggle for the remaining 2 days of the holiday. Personal opinion - They Cater for Turkish a lot more then British.

Review from a 10 night stay in July from a typical Scottish family, arrived home last week.

Overall we found the hotel to be really good, it’s nothing fancy and certainly has things that can be improved but we had a great holiday.

Rooms We were allocated a 3 bedroom apartment which included 2 double bedrooms and a room with twin beds. One of the bedrooms had an en-suite and then there was a main bathroom. The two double bedrooms shared a balcony. All bedrooms were very spacious and modern. We then had upstairs which was a huge living area with full kitchen setup with washing machine, big fridge freezer etc but with no utensils, plates etc which was fine as we weren’t planning on cooking. Then a second balcony/terrace which was an amazing sun trap, we loved spending time here before dinner. There was also an additional toilet upstairs. We had no issues with hot water, showers were great and air conditioning worked perfectly.

Food Food was quite good for an all inclusive, not the best we have experienced but by no means the worst. There was lots of choice and everything was hot and tasty. Only thing was it was very repetitive over 10 days but we broke it up by eating out a few nights which we always do anyway. We weren’t bothered by flies in main restaurant but at the snack bar outside there are flies which is quite annoying but not the hotels fault. They keep the food covered for the pizzas, burgers etc but the salad bar is open. We found everything we ate cooked well and never struggled for something to eat. Outside in the evenings there are freshly made stir fry’s, wraps etc and delicious freshly made donuts for desert. Always got ice cream and freshly made waffles for a couple of hours a day too. Drinks were nothing fancy but were fine. In terms of alcohol, we actually felt it which I haven’t in other Turkey hotels. We take big thermal cups with us which they are happy to fill, save trips and keeps drink cold 😊

We didn’t try any of the à la carte restaurants so can’t comment on them.

Entertainment This is where the hotel gets 5 stars!! The animation team are absolutely amazing!! They all knew the 5 of our names on day 1 and made a point to sit and get to know us and try to involve us in games everyday without being a nuisance. Spider especially for us is a superstar!! He really makes it his priority to ensure guests are having a great time. They work tirelessly from morning to evening always smiling and doing their job amazingly! We miss them!! Pool activities/games throughout the day and nighttime always something going on. I don’t have small children anymore so around 10pm was more our time. White party is so fun!!

Cleaning This is the area where I have a hit of a negative. The hotel is not dirty but I just feel it could be cleaner if that makes sense 🤷🏼‍♀️ other hotels I have stayed, I see cleaning constantly and usually smell the clean. I didn’t feel this was the case here. Our room barely got touched the whole 10 days, some days having to ask for clean towels as they hadn’t been in at all. I don’t think our floor was mopped in room more than once and not very well. I wonder if that was a result of where our room was…not sure. Like I say, I would say the hotel is pretty clean, I just didn’t see it actively being cleaned as often as I do in other hotels.

Sunbed/Pool area We didn’t have an issue with sunbeds but I’m an early riser. I don’t take a bed if we going out for the day so days we came back, we struggled around 3-4 o’clock and I did see people struggling in the morning if they came down after 10/11 ish. Pool area is really fun but busy. For the size of the hotel, would be great if that could be extended but I get that’s maybe not possible. There is a quiet pool as well that we used one day after being at beach and was fine but we quite like the music and vibes of the main pool.

Location Is fairly close to town and restaurants etc. shuttle to beach is quick and the hotel has its all inclusive there for drinks and food. Burger and fries were good but only soft drinks or beer so if you fancy a wine or a cocktail you won’t get it down there. The beach is really rocky as you go in but once you pass them, the sea was lovely. We just kept our swim shoes on for walking in. Actually quite enjoyed our beach day, it’s not the most perfect beach but was fine and was nice to not be bothered by folk selling things etc. The marina area is lovely and nice for a few drinks and walking. If eating out, most restaurants will pick you up and drop you back at hotel for free which is a nice touch.

If I were to go back to Kusadasi again I would stay at this hotel again, we had a very enjoyable holiday 😊. It’s a shame some people don’t have the same experience, holidays aren’t cheap. I do appreciate to hear everyone’s experience good or bad but sometimes I can get stuck on negative reviews so if you are booked up, I hope this can help settle any worries you might have xx

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I felt it was important to share my experience.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The hotel offers plenty of attractions for children, making it a great choice for families. The staff were generally friendly and helpful.

However, there were a few issues that affected our overall impression. Although the food was tasty, the menu was very repetitive, with almost the same dishes being served every day. In addition, finding a free table at dinner time was extremely difficult and often felt almost impossible, which made the dining experience less enjoyable.

The biggest disappointment, however, was the situation with our lost snorkeling mask. After reporting it missing, a member of the staff informed us that it had been found during the evening pool cleaning and taken to the reception desk. When we went to collect it, we were told that it could not be found.

I spoke with the Duty Manager, who told me that the CCTV footage would be reviewed and the matter investigated. Unfortunately, we never received any update or explanation about what had happened to our belongings.

I fully understand that guests are responsible for their personal belongings. However, once the hotel confirmed that the mask had been found and handed over to the reception, I believe it should have been kept safely until its owner collected it. What disappointed me the most was not only the loss of the mask itself, but also the lack of follow-up and communication after the investigation was promised.

The hotel has many positive aspects and a lot of potential, but I hope improvements will be made to the dinner service, especially regarding seating capacity, as well as to the procedures for handling lost property and communicating with guests.
