Palm Wings Ephesus Beach Resort

This is the second day that we are in this hotel. I think every thing is bad .The foods are terrible and all the times we almost are hungry because we can not eat foods with these quality. I never recommend this hotel to any one

This is a honest review of the hotel.

We stayed here from 26/08/26 for a week, 2 adults 1 child.

We arrived at the hotel around midnight, checked in a was advised the buffet was open. We went to have a nosy but dlnothing took our fancy so we went up to our room to eat the sandwiches and snack we bought with us as we knew that would probably be the case.

We had a room in the main building on the 4th floor over looking the main pool area. Well we actually couldn't see the pools as we were low down and the roof of the lobby was in the way but we could see the beach though. Rooms were cleaned etc everday and rhe maid we had was so lovely. Gave her a big tip at the end of our stay. Fridge in the room is stocked with coke, Fanta, fizzy water and juice cartons. It was restocked the day before we left. Not entirely sure if it should have been stocked each day but ours wasn't. Balcony are actually quite small and due to this we didnt use it only to hang stuff out to dry and store floaties.

Pools were great, didnt use the activity pool though but managed to get beds even not going down early. A bit of a let down was that the only music playing was by the activity pool and none round the others. Slides were great and kept my nephew entertained all the time they were open. Life guards at the top could have been a bit more on it though with checking kt was safe to go down rather than flirting with the young females. Some guests just decided to go down themselves when it was clear at the bottom, us being those people. On our last day the part with the blue slides wad shut at half 11 due to someone letting their kid pass a number 2 on the slides and they didn't tell anyone for a good while. A young boy must have told his mother and she went across to the lifeguards. Next minute whistles were blown and it was closed. It was also closed the day before too but unsure if it was maintenence or the same reason.

Entertainment was ok, some shows better than others. Fire show on the beach was the best for us.

Food was plentiful and always found something to eat. Snack bar was your typical pizza, chips, burgers, donner, hotdogs etc. We ate here each day at lunch time just cos it was convenient and easier than getting dried off to go to the main restaurant. Ice cream, waffles and traditional turkish gozleme was also available.

Photos - photo and spa team are always walking round getting people to have photos and treatments. The photo team work hard and their images are decent quality but their packages are very very expensive. My friend chose 24 photos out of the 108 that were taken and she was charge 150 great British pounds! Absolute extortion in my eyes.

Towels - these are taken from the spa using pool towel cards. Didn't use the spa for treatments but it did smell absolutely incredible.

Water sports - my nephew wanted to do the green jet car as soon as he had seen it on Facebook. £90 for around 15mins again was a massive rip off and was the only watersport activity we did. One guy at the water sport centre tried to get us to book a boat trip with him but we said no and he left us alone. He just made 90 quid after all.

Drinks - they were fine, nothing special. Some staff make them better than others. Some don't have any concept of measurements either so the drinks are undrinkable or they go down just like pop.

We did a boat trip with amore, the day was so chilled and relaxed. Delicious food on board and unlimited soft drinks and local beer and wine. Would 100% recommend them to anyone. They also pick you up and drop you off from your hotel.

Overall the hotel is gorgeous, its about 20 mins drive in a taxi from kusadasi centrum. I'd stay there again if thats were we ended up booking but I would like to be closer to town so we can go out more and experience more but thats just personal preference. Be prepare to be dragged into a shop where they will get you to buy clothes etc as the taxi driver and shops work on commission. Taxi driver got a guy to meet us and take us the the centurm. We thought he was being helpful till we were dragged into a shop called icon. my friend spent 100 pound on clothes for her son she didn't even want. He only wanted a Ronaldo football shirt. They tried to get money out of me but I've been to turkey lots of times so im not new to their games/ charms. I point blank said no. Just go in and have a look and politely decline any purchase if you dont want anything.

The only thing that put me off about this hotel was the guests. Some European and Turkish guests were rude and had no manners at all. They were pushing in front of people while queuing both adults and children. I also saw 1 girl around 10 years old touching all the desserts with her fingers and then tasting them and wiping her fingers back over the desserts. Vile behaviour! You could tell who the English were, always saying please and thankyou to people. 2 girls around 8-10 stole my nephews float at the main pool and when he asked for it back they were reluctant to give it to him. Eventually one of their parents shouted something to them and he got it back.

This hotel also has a page on facebook and people write posts with tips and advice but if you put honest reviews on there of your own experience, they delete it or message you asking you to change the wording. Mines been removed from the page even after I change the wording.
