Fantasia Hotel De Luxe

We are currently here, Good points -staff are brilliant, so friendly and helpful -food is excellent however not a normal big selection but you can’t have quality and bulk cooking -every where is spotlessly clean from the room to the pools and beach.

• the rooms are really nice, yes they could do with an update but they where good.

-the views are stunning

Bad points

• 2 outdoor pools go from 1.55m deep to 2.5m deep to 3.25m deep, where the drop between the first 2 sections are there is a rope, so unfortunately every congregates at the shallow end and the rest of the pool is empty (on both pools)
• there’s not enough sun loungers per people, which means if you are not up early you ain’t getting a bed.
• the sun beds that are there you are very tight against each other and this causes massive arguments over who’s umbrella is who’s (security had to intervene today to stop to family’s from arguing.

Tips below

• don’t go for meals as soon as the restaurants open, there is endless queuing for no reason
• there is no pool waiter service and all the drinks are in plastic cups, if you want more than 2 drinks bring a tray.
• the beach is nice but it is man made and steps to get in and out the sea.
• bear in mind the pool situation if your not a strong swimmer or can’t swim.
• if you book with jet 2 the WiFi is inculded

-£20 deposit for the safe key.

If it had a make over and made the pools all one level (1.55m) then there would be more space for everyone

I was great, great location, we really like the pools, great atmosphere and nice stuff. Room was good but bathroom not that much. Pressure in shower head was really low and it doesnt look that clean. But everything else was perfect. Maybe charge for wifi is too much but I dont know about hotels around here.

Don’t even think about to stay here !

Pros:

• Beautiful sunsets.

Cons:

• This is definitely not a 5-star hotel.
• I don’t care if a hotel is old or new. Even an old 3-star hotel can be clean. This hotel is not.
• Rooms, restaurant, tables, and hallways were dirty.
• We saw cockroaches in the hallways.
• The furniture is very old and worn out.
• Hair was found in the food more than once.
• Our room smelled like dirty diapers, and the bathroom had no ventilation.
• Cigarette smoke smell was in some places.
• The stairs from where you enter to the sea is dirty and full of seaweed.
• The pier shown on the website does not exist.
• The hotel is overcrowded. The pool, restaurant, and elevators are too small for so many guests. In peak time you need to wait elevator for 10 minutes, otherwise go up by stairs with your kid for 6th floor!
• Wi-Fi in the room is not free. It costs €11 per week for each device. Where on earth in resort hotel you have seen paid hotel ???
• The staff were polite, but the management was very disappointing.
• I asked three times to speak with the front office manager. I was always told to come back later or promised a call, but nobody ever contacted me.
• who the hell is rating this hotel and prove them 5 star ???
• I even agreed to let hotel to charge me 50% penalty but to refund me the rest, but hotel refused.

My advice: Don’t stay here at any price. I decided to leave even without getting my money back because my vacation is worth more than staying here. They can keep my money—I hope they use it to improve this hotel, or at least will change their rating for 1-3 star hotel
