Altinsaray

This is Kusadasi´s diamond! Great place to spend your holiday. The staff is so friendly and all of them work very hard. The food is delicious!!! The view is so romantic.. never saw this in my life. We stayed in a lot of hotels but this is the very best! Thank you Altinsaray Hotel staff for giving me a nice holiday. See you soon!

I am very glad I chose Altinsaray. I was pleased to arrive at this small, friendly traditional style hotel. The staff are all fabulous and always so helpful, available and friendly. I really felt like part of their family while I was there and during my holiday I needed some extra help and they made sure I was ok. I will always appreciate this. Thank you. There is also an adorable dog and tabby cat who live here. They like treats, so don’t forget to pack the dreamys and dog biscuits!

Location: in a great location, raised on a hill with perfect views. A short 15 min walk down to the right for ladies beach. You can also find a couple of supermarkets this way if you need anything. To the left another short 15 minute walk to the the town (via the Kusadasi castle on pigeon island) making it a lovely evening walk after dinner. You can also jump on a local bus. There really is something for everyone down the town. You get your boat trips from down this way too.

Accommodation: room 305 I absolutely loved my four poster bed, so comfortable. The aircon worked perfectly. The bathroom was a good size with a great shower and there is a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and soap available. There was enough space for me as a solo traveller. I didn’t have a balcony, which was ok for me as I just kept the front door open while in my room as the walkway had a small balcony, so I got my sea views. I didn’t use the tv. The WiFi worked perfectly throughput. There is a safe box available in the room, but I never used mine.

Food: I had the breakfast and dinner package. I really enjoyed trying all the fabulous tasty food. So fresh and again mostly traditional style and presented so nicely. I always found plenty of options to try. I really enjoyed trying all the soups and salads and the deserts were really good, especially the cheesecakes and eclairs. Also a couple of times I hung by the pool and ordered some food from the bar which also very good and freshly prepared. And the setting of the restaurant had the perfect sunset views.

Other There is a Turkish spa on site, but I didn’t try this one. A ping pong ball table for a break out of the sun. Lovely grounds. I saw a wild boar one day and also a tortoise! The pool was lovely and clean and needed for a refreshing dip, you can get towels from the basket by reception. Always found a sunbed without having to reserve with towels.

Just a note about the loud music that some reviews have complained about. For me it was not a problem, because it was always finished by 12:30. Some of the music was quite nice too. So don’t let this put you off. You’ll probably be out busy enjoying yourself to notice anyway.

I really felt so comfortable here and would recommend.

There are only few rooms, that are presented on web site.Other rooms are very bad and needed renovation. For five nights only ones the room was cleaned. The breakfast and locations are good. There is not free Turkish hamam for the gest,as it is stated, there is only one room without steam, and the guest can use it only from 12.00 -14.00. The staff is relatively friendly, they must improved cleanness, everywere in the hotel
