Piril Hotel

Lovely hotel in a great location. We have stayed here many times. The grounds are well set out. Plenty of sunbeds around the 2 outdoor pools. Towels are provided. Food choices are good, although we were slightly disappointed with the lack of pide at evening meal. Also there were few potato side dishes, mainly rice, pasta or bulgar wheat. However, when in Turkey it's good to try their cuisine. The choice of desserts was outstanding. Lovely SPA, with lots of treatments available. Very reasonably priced too. We used them twice. Anna on reception is wonderful & very helpful explaining what each treatment included. We used the VIP hammam for a Turkish bath & massage as a birthday treat for my husband. We also both had a fabulous Swedish massage A nice addition from our last stay, was Gülzar, the Customer Relations advisor. She was so helpful & lovely to talk to. A nice welcome every day at breakfast & she would always say hello when she passed us in the hotel. Made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is very tired and doesn’t not give a luxurious feeling that is advertised. The ‘dublex pool room suite’ was large but sparse on furniture and the space not sensibly used. For a high end hotel there was a lack of comfort with no toiletries except soap, paper cups and a baloney door that didn’t lock. Both pools were green and hazy with rubbish all around the garden and even in the water. We watched a he many staff walk past without taking any care to maintain the property. One pool emptied on the second day of our stay leaving it unusable but clearly essential. Our room was not serviced during our stay which was disappointing. Breakfast and dinner options were good but not great. Views were lovely but the location is awkward. It was an OK stay but certainly not at the level of service that is advertised.
