Thank you Katmer staff for your friendliness. We had a great time in Çeşme and we enjoyed your hotel: the room was very clean, spacious; breakfast was delicious and the staff was more then helpfull. :)
Just got back so going to write a review while still fresh
Lovely small hotel or Otel as they call it staff were absolutely fabulous couldn’t do enough for you, this hotel is away from the typical British resort consequently its very Turkish with quite a few Turkish families staying there, nice pool with good pool bar it’s just above Dalyan which is about 2/3 miles outside Cesme easy to get to by a little bus , there’s a public beach which is walkable but a little scruffy , there are also 3 private beaches where the hotel will take you to and pick you up our favourite was Palmiya cost 50 TL 2beds and umbrella anyway I’m digressing , the first room they took us to didn’t have a balcony so they moved us straight away , it was very clean actually it was spotless, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the bar shuts at about 2130 so when coming back from a meal out there was nowhere except your balcony to unwind, breakfast was very Turkish which I don’t mind but if you want a full English this ain’t the place for you mind you I think there were a couple of places in Cesme where you could indulge. they supply pool towels which you can take to local beaches as well as around the pool. All in all very nice experience and really it should have been 4 and 3/4 stars as the 4 star rating is a little unfair ,incidentally we booked this hotel independently I believe there is a shuttle to and from the airport (about 90km away) we contacted the hotel before hand and they arranged a fully air conditioned vehicle to pick us up (350 TL)
We stayed at Kamer Suites and hotel in late September 2022. All of the staff were so kind and friendly. the junior suite room which we stayed in was big enough, calm and clean. the pool is lovely and the buffet next to the pool provides delicious burgers and pizza at a reasonable price. They provide towels and free shuttles for brilliant close beaches like Palmiya Plaji which has around 15 minutes by foot. The breakfast was basic and can have more options like omelets and.... the coffee machine needs to be replaced by another one. overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. Thank you to the housekeeping, reception, pool, and restaurant teams.
First of all, don't let the fact that Kamer Suites and Hotel is a seven minute dolmus ride away from the main towns put you off. Nestled on a peaceful peninsular to the north of Cesme, this hotel's nicely appointed rooms are an oasis of calm that you'll look forward to returning to after the hustle and bustle of Cesme and Alacati. Its pool is arguably one of the best I've had the pleasure to use on my hols across Turkey, with a lovely bar and cafe restaurant that serves excellent value for money food and the obligatory Efes. (don't miss the iced cappuccino either). The small town of Dalyan nearby had a wealth of top notch restaurants along its harbour edge, but we sought out the more authentic ones and were delighted - the best calamari I've ever had from the fish restaurant half way down the main road into town is a must. The Suites are very well run by the lovely, friendly owner Alp, who couldn't do enough to make our stay extra special… even making room for our daughter who turned up unexpectedly half way through the holiday. The location is perfect - a bus ride to the fascinating 'city' of Cesme with its castle, marina and lively shopping streets, is around £1.50 return. Further afield and about a £4 return is Alacati, an absolutely beautiful yellow bricked town with top quality shops that's restful and relaxing by day and mayhem by night. My wife and daughter loved it there - especially a trip to the Noe Happiness clothes shop – but were relieved to get back to the calm and tranquility of Kamer later that night. Beaches near the hotel are local and free, but a trip to the White Beach Aya Yorgi is a must - £25 odd to get in but that includes a hefty amount for your lunch and a drink or two. Great value and very cool. The rooms at Kamer are functional, clean and tidy and importantly quite spacious - with Alp always on hand to help with advice or just for a quick chat. By all means look around at hotels in Cesme and Alacati, but you'll find they are either smack bang in the middle of the chaos or large, impersonal places - and that's not what we wanted from a holiday. If you need somewhere to chill with a beer and a comfortable pool-side bed with a book, then this is the place for you. But don't forget the calamari (they don't advertise it on their boards but just ask) – you won't regret it. Thank you Alp for your kindness.
Our rooms were under average unfortunately, our bedroom was next to a busy street and there was constant audio pollution which wasnt relaxing at all! Rooms are much smaller than the pictures. We really liked the pool area and the staff was also nice. Breakfast was also disappointing, the same everyday no variation at all and there wasnt much to choose from. Its relatively close to the bigger city areas and restaurants.
