This hotel is situated on the Turkish coast of the Aegean, some 4 km from the tourist resort of Cesme. The smooth part-pebble, part-sand beach is only a few steps from the hotel. There are numerous shopping and entertainment venues in the small town of Ilica, only about 1 km from the resort, where there is also a public transport stop. The nearest large town is Izmir, approximately 90 km away. Transfer time to Izmir airport is about 70 minutes. Renovated in 2004, this luxury hotel has a total of 263 rooms spread over two buildings. The reception and many other services can be found in the 5-storey main building. In the hotel grounds there are freshwater and saltwater pools, a paddling pool, a thermal water pool, and a poolside snack bar creating the perfect environment for a blissful day of sunbathing. In 2011, the hotel opened a large children's' aqua park.

Good value and nice beach
The hotel has a private beach with all amenities and bar. The atmosphere is very lay back and the staff is friendly and will go out of their way to please you. The buffet breakfast and dinner is very varied and has lots of Turkish specialities. The majority of the hotel guests are turkish. They have a spa with special pool and games for kids. The spa includes a thermal water hot pool. It is a family friendly hotel. But also good for other travelers. It is also a good value hotel. The beach is very nice and the water very clear. Not all the staff speaks English but they will always come get the person that speaks English if you have a specific request. Mert at the reception was particularly professional and helpful. The northern part of Çeşme is usually windy in the summer. We were lucky to have calm water.

Fabulous very relaxing place
We have just had a lovely relaxing stay at the Ilica hotel for a family birthday celebration.The hotel is on a private beach and is quiet and relaxing at this time of year (end of October ) .The staff were very helpful and friendly .We don’t speak Turkish which was difficult for some of the younger staff at times . The rooms may need a bit of an update soon and the air conditioner wasn’t really working so we left the patio door open . We had a huge balcony with amazing views . The breakfast was varied and fresh fruit yoghurts breads and honey were amazing . The egg station was a bonus and eggs done as you like them to order the chef got to know what we liked before we asked . The guest relations lady was very helpful . We had the buffet one evening but preferred the bar menu .We had vegetarians in the group -more choices would have been better for them would be a suggestion for the hotel to improve . Off season was quiet but we loved the time in the thermal pools and sauna as it was not busy and at times felt like a private place just for us . The location is approximately 5-6 mins in a taxi to Alacati or Cesme if you eat out in the evenings .Taxis are not expensive 500TL for that journey .The little buses are cheaper but only run once an hour and stop early from Cesme . Beautiful place -lovely hotel with large sofas to sit in with family in the evenings too. We had a fabulous holiday .
Very sweet hotel staff <3
We traveled in low season and enjoyed our experience very much. There were very few guests in the hotel, so we checked-in to our room much earlier than we expected (and it was very pleasant for us after a night flight, thank you!). The spa zone was almost empty every day, which was great for us too! The hot pool is amazing! The guest relations department is very sweet too, the lady comes to the guests every breakfast and is ready to help with everything. She explained to us that we can take buses right near the hotel and we can visit Çeşme centre and Alaçatı <3 Also, we got a free room upgrade! The view is splendid! The district of the hotel is very calm and beautiful, though restaurants and supermarkets are walkable distance (20-30 mins). So, we can really advise to come in low season :))
P.S. It would be great to have buffet lunch in the hotel too.
Title: Unwelcoming Experience at the Entrance
I visited Ilıca Hotel in Çeşme with my wife and child just to enjoy a coffee in the lobby. To my surprise, both the security at the gate and the staff at the lobby entrance asked for a room number and my full name before allowing us in.
As someone who has been to many hotels, this was the first time I experienced such a procedure simply for having coffee. It felt unnecessary and unwelcoming, especially for outside guests who want to enjoy the café facilities without staying at the hotel.
I understand the importance of security, but this approach gave us the impression that non-resident visitors are not really welcome. A hotel of this standard could certainly find a more guest-friendly way to manage security while still offering hospitality.

hotel worth of spending vacation
very good and clean hotel. spacious rooms and very pleasant stuff. nice beach and sun area. top of the top, excellent food !
