The attractive beach hotel Babaylon is wonderfully located in a small sandy bay in Ciftlikköy, just a short drive from the town of Çeşme with its shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife spots as well as the ferry connection to the Greek island of Chios, which is just 8 nautical miles away. The famous windsurfing hotspot of Alaçatı can also be reached within a short drive, while the city of Izmir with its international airport is at a distance of about 90 km. All of the rooms of the hotel have air-conditioning, a balcony and splendid sea views. Guests can take a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool with children's pool or in the Aegean Sea, as the hotel features a 150 m long private blue-flag beach and a pier. A sauna and a massage service invite to relax, while the palate will get spoiled in the restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating facilities. A perfect place for couples and families with children wishing to spend a tranquil beach holiday.

The hotel is located very far from everything. Cesme is a bus or a taxi ride and the nearest little village is about a 20 30 minute walk. If you want a quiet isolated location then you may like the location. Some staff were lovely however some are so rude to the point when we asked for a drink a waiter responded with how many hands do you think I have and walked away. All the times for meals were wrong and everything that they say they have they do not. The sauna hasn’t been open since covid and the Wi-Fi does not work at all. They keep saying that they are working on it but it’s a lie confirmed by everyone there. They kept saying that the wifi in the whole of Cesme is not working which was a big lie there were no Wi-Fi problems anywhere else and we even had to walk five minutes to the hotel down the road to connect or their Wi-Fi which was also fine. The hotel is very outdated and the handle on our balcony was shaking off. We reported it so many times since day one as it was very windy and if that pole fell on somebody it would have been fatal, yet all they kept saying is okay sorry we’ll send someone tomorrow. The food is not labelled properly for vegetarians or any key allergens and we found elastic and hair in our food twice. I picked this hotel because or the reviews which I do not understand.

Amazing hotel had a fabulous holiday such beautiful views, great food and rooms clean. Staff go above & beyond... Cesme only a few km away for shopping, eating out or just drinks dolmus stop directly outside hotel. Recommended👍 Pros : everything Cons: no entertainment just some music. Not many brits but fine for us

Just got back from 2 weeks at the babalyon hotel. Had a lovely time. Beds and pillows amazing, food excellent, great beach and pool. Needs a bit of update. Big thank you to Ibrahim snack bar manager. Sila on reception went above and beyond English is second to none
Peaceful.
We returned after several years. The reception staff were very welcoming and our rooms overlooking the beautiful Aegean were ready for us. Our rooms were perfectly clean and fresh with good wifi connectivity. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well.
The restaurant served very fresh and nicely prepared food. The chef and his staff were in attendance during serving times to ensure a good standard. The coffee was better than most places of its kind.
The grounds and gardens are kept beautiful. There is a large, well maintained pool with bathing beds. The views across the Aegean to Chios are breathtaking.
Overall, the peaceful, tranquil ambience of this special hotel, together with the friendliness of good mannered staff, made our stay once again perfect. Thank you.

Unexpected Charges After Check-In – Disappointing Experience
We stayed at Hotel Babaylon in Çeşme expecting a relaxing, all-inclusive experience. Unfortunately, we were surprised to be charged additional fees even after we had checked in and settled into the hotel. These charges were not clearly communicated during booking or at reception, and we felt misled by the lack of transparency.
While the location and facilities were pleasant, the unexpected costs left a negative impression. Guests should be informed upfront about any extra fees, especially if they apply after check-in. We hope the management improves communication and ensures that future guests are not caught off guard.
