X Life Hotel

Fantastic hotel set in beautiful grounds with stunning views and a few pools, great location near the strip and their private beach. Family run, calm, friendly atmosphere. The rooms are fine, I think they are in the process of being refurbished but they're fine with very comfy beds. For June all inclusive was a very reasonable price and a good time to go. The staff here really are amazing, every single one of them were helpful and attentive and very good at their jobs. The hotel is very clean, big shout out to the housekeeping team who go above and beyond! The food, despite what some people say, is lovely if you just try it, varied, delicious, nutritious food with an excellent dessert section, if you insist on being a stick in the mud then there's still burgers, pizza and chips! The chefs and restaurant staff here are brilliant. The bar staff need a mention too for their efficiency and patience. I can't fault the place and I'll definitely be coming here again. Oh, do try the in-house spa/Turkish bath/massage, so good!

Wonderful experience overall for these Brits! We were hesitant due to mixed reviews but we had a really lovely time at X Life Hotel.

The food selection was fairly small in options but its a tiny hotel/guest ratio so you can't expect more without huge amounts of waste. The options available were genuinely delicious and as a veggie, I enjoyed a variety of amazing legume and bean dishes throughout my stay, alongside your usual vegetable and bulgur dishes (highly recommend the stuffed aubergine- I'll be dreaming about this!). There's also staple beige options throughout the day, with chips, pizzas, burgers and nuggest available if you're that way inclined. You'll never go hungry here- there's basically constant service of different offerings from the second you wake up till late in the evening.

The rooms were comfortable and always kept to a high standard of cleanliness. We enjoyed a balcony room in the "castle turret" and the view was beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by gorgeous natural landscapes and it's simply picturesque.

All the staff were lovely but a special thank you to all of the bar team- they are extremely accommodating and want you to have the best time possible. Best mojito and long islan of my life!! All the team speak a variety of languages ( we suspect this place is particularly popular with Russian/German/Eastern European guests as we were assumed such a few times) but do expect that English comprehension may not always be there - completely understandably! Any issues at all were easily worked around with Google Translate and the staff couldn't have tried any better to help with everything.

The free hotel shuttle service was also simple to use and the beach is simply gorgeous. Bar team at the beach were also very attentive and there's a private section of the beach with loungers for guest usage. Towels are available from the spa for use around the pool and at the beach but we didn't make use of this.

This is a very quiet hotel overall which meant we had the pool entirely to ourselves at time and never worried about sun lounger availability. Our only disappointment was a lack of evening entertainment. The Panoroma bar team kept the vibes going with music but we did struggle to fill an evening a little bit without constantly taxi-ing down to the town.

The hotel is set slightly back so it is a walk to the town (perhaps 20mins in the heat) and there is a hill back up to the resort that I'd recommend getting a lift up to, especially for anyone with mobility issues. There's a small convenience shop at the bottom of the road the hotel is on but thats about it in the immediate area. That being said, what a hidden gem Sarigerme is after previously only visiting Fethiye/Oludeniz.

We also ventured out to Dalaman for the day to visit the local market and caught the Dolmus (local bus) which was super easy and cost just 180TL/a couple of pounds return each versus taxi prices.

Check-out was 12pm on our last day but we had the option to pay £30 for late checkout and the team let us pick what time that was till- a bargain price to have full all-inclusive access to food/pool/room/etc till gone 6pm.

A very big thank you to X Life for making our holiday so brilliant- gutted to be leaving but we'll definitely be back asap!
