We cannot wait to come back!

This is our last day of our second visit at this gorgeous resort. We’ve had the best time and sad to have to leave. I travelled with my two teenage daughters (16&14) and we were allocated a lovely spacious room with two twin beds and a king size bed in a separate room and bath/shower room with separate toilet. The design of the room made it comfortable for three of us to share the space without feeling on top of each other, and the added bonus of a spacious separate area with a king size bed meant I can have a bit of privacy and a tidy space away from the teenage chaos 😆. The rooms and grounds are always kept spotless - daily housekeeping, towel change and minibar top up. There are always staff around to swiftly deal with incidents such as breakage/spillages or for any other requests or assistance. Nothing is ever too much trouble - if they can, they will do it. There might be a language barrier if you don’t speak the native language, so please be kind and patient. After all, we are guests in their country and we shouldn’t expect everyone to speak our languages. The location is close to the airport, which is ideal for us as we don’t like to travel by car for long distances, however, the resort is set in a beautiful spot surrounded by mountains and sea. All the gardens are well kept, the beach is clean and there are plenty of towel stations, outdoor showers and changing facilities and areas to just chill and enjoy your surroundings. There is a shuttle service available to take you to different parts of the resort, which is an additional convenience. There are many pools to choose from for all ages and activities. Myself and 16 year old chose to lounge by the 16+ pool for the majority of the time, which again was perfect for our needs. There were occasions where young children would join the 16+ pool (mainly due to poor supervision or approval of the parents despite there being adequate signage around the pool), but lifeguards act quickly to identify the parents and ask them politely to move their children to a different pool. There are so many bars and eateries that serve food and drinks around the clock, so you’ll always find something available to eat or drink during your stay. There is so much to choose from, and clearly a lot of thought and care is taken into planning food options to suit many tastes, ages and dietary requirements. There are also 4 reasonably priced À la carte restaurants to choose from if you wish to dine there. There are plenty of different activities to choose from, suitable for different ages and abilities, a lot are free and some are charged. Now my favourite part - THE SPA! This was exceptional! I have visited many spas and had different treatments over the years and I can honestly say, this has been my best experience yet. It is a tad pricey, but it’s worth every penny. I visited twice over a four day period and had 3 treatments done, each and every one was fantastic. The facilities are clean, calm and relaxing. I was pampered, well looked after and left feeling incredibly well and relaxed. Delik, who looked after me, is professional, very skilled and brilliant at her job. I can not recommend the spa experience highly enough and it is well worth a visit during your stay. Overall I cannot fault this place. I can confidently recommend to anyone who’s considering booking their stay here, and we will definitely be back! Team Hilton Dalaman - Keep up the great work and thank you for your hospitality. The Best 5-Star All-Inclusive Holiday We’ve Ever Had

We have just returned from a 10-night stay, and I can honestly say this is the best 5-star all-inclusive holiday we have ever experienced.

We arrived late at night, not really knowing what to expect, but from the moment we stepped through the doors we received genuine 5-star service. We were welcomed with a refreshing cold drink before checking in, and then escorted to our room. As we’d missed dinner, we were kindly asked if we’d like some freshly made sandwiches, which arrived very quickly. It was a lovely touch and set the standard for the rest of our stay.

Hotel & Facilities

The facilities throughout the resort are outstanding. Although there are a few areas that could benefit from some modernisation, nothing feels tired or neglected. Everywhere is exceptionally clean, from the public toilets to the restaurants, bars, pool areas and walkways. The housekeeping and maintenance teams clearly take great pride in keeping the resort looking its best.

One thing to be aware of is the hotel shops on the lower floor. They are very convenient but also very expensive. For example, one bottle of sun cream, a large bag of crisps and some after-bite cream came to around £31. We brought six bottles of sun cream for the four of us and still ran out, so I’d definitely recommend packing plenty before you travel.

The Buffet Restaurant

The buffet restaurant is simply mind-blowing. I have genuinely never seen anything like it. The amount of choice available for breakfast, lunch and dinner is incredible, and there is something for absolutely everyone, including fussy teenagers—which is ideal, as we have one!

The quality of the food was excellent throughout our stay, and the buffet staff deserve huge credit. They worked tirelessly every single day to keep everything spotless, replenish food quickly and ensure guests were looked after. The whole restaurant runs like a well-oiled machine, and it’s obvious how much effort goes on behind the scenes.

Jacuzzi Gazebo Experience

We hired one of the jacuzzi gazebos twice during our stay and honestly couldn’t fault the experience. Personally, I think the standard gazebos aren’t worth paying extra for, but the jacuzzi gazebos definitely are.

From the moment you arrive you’re treated like royalty. Staff are available at the press of a button, but many of them regularly checked on us even when we hadn’t called for anything.

On arrival, we were provided with an ice bucket filled with a selection of alcoholic drinks, along with a fully stocked fridge containing soft drinks and water. If you wanted something different or simply wanted more drinks, all you had to do was ask and they would happily bring them over.

We were also brought a beautiful fresh fruit platter and pastries, which was a lovely touch, and if you wanted, the staff would even add bubbles to the jacuzzi.

At lunchtime you can order from the gazebo menu and have as much food as you like brought directly to you. You can either eat inside the gazebo or at the table outside, which the staff set up beautifully for you.

A massive shout-out has to go to Eray Genç, who was without doubt one of the best and most consistently outstanding members of staff we met during our holiday. Even when we hadn’t pressed the service button, he would regularly come over to make sure everything was OK and ask if we needed anything.

He was also fantastic with our 10-year-old daughter, always making sure she received non-alcoholic versions of the drinks we were having without us even needing to ask. It was such a thoughtful gesture that really showed how much he cared about the guests.

Hilton should be incredibly proud to have someone like Eray representing the hotel, and I genuinely hope he receives the recognition he deserves. Staff like him are one of the reasons we’ll remember this holiday for years to come.

If you’re considering hiring a gazebo, my advice is simple—spend the little extra and book one with a jacuzzi. They’re worth every penny.

À La Carte Restaurants

During our stay we visited both the Italian and Japanese à la carte restaurants, with the Italian being so good that we went back a second time.

The Italian restaurant was absolutely fantastic. You can choose to sit either inside or outside. On our first visit we sat outside, but because of the number of flies we decided to move indoors on our second visit. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and happily moved us without any fuss.

The food was exceptional on both visits, but what really made the experience was the staff. We’d particularly like to thank Tuğçe Çetingül, Yuger, and Yilody (apologies if I’ve remembered any names incorrectly—we were relying on slightly blurry photos and our memories!). They looked after us on the evening of 29th July 2026 and were absolutely fantastic.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, no request felt too small, and they made both evenings genuinely special. Every time we bumped into them elsewhere around the resort, they always greeted us with a smile. They are a real credit to the hotel.

The Japanese restaurant was another incredible experience. Our daughters had never experienced teppanyaki-style Japanese cooking before, so having the food cooked right in front of us was something they’ll remember for a long time.

A huge thank you also goes to Dede Firmansyah, who was our chef. Despite having an incredibly rude Russian guest sitting beside us, he remained professional, entertaining and ensured everyone at the table had a great time. He even gave our daughter the little yellow chick he’d used during his egg trick, which absolutely made her evening. Once again, it was the staff who turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience.

Bay View Terrace Bar

During our stay we also discovered the lovely Bay View Terrace Bar, located on the hill near the gazebo area with the tree growing through the middle of it. It quickly became one of our favourite places to relax. It was much quieter than the other bars, offered stunning views and was the perfect place to enjoy a drink while watching the scenery.

We also met Cansu, who worked behind the bar and was absolutely brilliant. Our 10-year-old daughter, quickly became very fond of her. Cansu took the time to let our daughter help make mocktails, always chatted to her whenever we visited and constantly made her laugh. It was another example of how the staff went above and beyond to make children feel included rather than simply serving drinks. Those little moments created memories that we’ll all remember.

Pools & Water Slides

The pool areas are fantastic and there is something for everyone.

We spent most of our time around the large central pool, mainly because there were usually plenty of sunbeds available and it was close to both food and drink outlets. The pool with the wooden bridge was also lovely and actually felt slightly warmer than the main pool.

There’s also the quieter 16+ pool, which is connected to the main pool area. If you’re looking for a more peaceful atmosphere it’s well worth visiting. The stage at the edge of this pool is used for activities such as water yoga and other organised sessions throughout the day.

The water slide area was another highlight. Everything was clean, well maintained and supervised by lifeguards. We found that arriving around 1pm, just before the slides reopened at 2pm, gave us the best chance of getting sunbeds before it became busy.

One tip I’d definitely recommend is bringing or buying pool shoes. The ground around the slides becomes extremely hot in the sun and they make walking between the slides much more comfortable.

The slides themselves are brilliant, although some do have height and weight restrictions. There are lifeguards at all of the pools, which was reassuring, and there are also dedicated splash areas and smaller slides for younger children.

Our Room

We chose a standard room because we knew we wouldn’t be spending much time in it. We wanted to enjoy everything the resort had to offer.

There were four of us staying in the room—two adults, our 17-year-old daughter and our 10-year-old daughter—and we found it surprisingly spacious.

The main bed was very large (I believe it was queen-sized), while the girls slept on a sofa bed and a fold-out bed. Both said they were comfortable throughout our stay.

The only small negative was the positioning of the air conditioning. The airflow is directed more towards the window side of the room, meaning the girls were sometimes cold while we were still warm. However, after mentioning it to the staff they quickly brought thicker duvets for the girls, while we simply slept without our covers. It certainly wasn’t a major issue and was resolved as well as it could be.

The room itself was very well equipped. It included:

  • A decent hairdryer (although I don’t have much hair these days!)
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Plenty of plug sockets
  • Lots of wardrobe and storage space
  • A minibar that was restocked free of charge every day
  • A large safe (we managed 4 iPads, 2 headphones, money, passports, ear pods and still had space for more.
  • Dressing gowns and slippers
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Shampoo, conditioner and body wash

The Wi-Fi throughout the resort deserves a special mention because it was excellent. Whether we were in our room, around the pools or even down on the beach, the signal remained strong. Connecting was simple too—our login was just our surname (in capital letters) and room number.

The bathroom was equally impressive, with a very powerful shower as well as a bath.

Our balcony overlooked the entrance to the resort, but we still had lovely views across to the mountains and golf course. There were two chairs and a drying rack, which came in very handy for swimwear and towels.

Despite overlooking the entrance, the room was incredibly quiet. We never had any issues with noise during the entire holiday and slept very well.

Taxis & Local Markets

If you want to explore outside the resort, the hotel has an agreement with a local taxi company. Prices are displayed at Guest Services and they’ll arrange everything for you.

We visited Ortaca Friday Market, which cost around £35 return, and the taxi driver waited for up to four hours before taking us back to the hotel. We thought this was excellent value.

The market itself was well worth visiting. Make sure you take cash, as many stalls don’t accept cards. It was great to experience a genuine local market, browse the fresh produce and see a side of Turkey that you simply don’t experience inside a resort.

We also visited Sarıgerme Market. Although it’s only one main street, we still managed to buy quite a lot. Like most Turkish markets, shopkeepers will encourage you to come inside, but a polite “No thank you” is always respected.

One thing to be aware of is that many market stalls are now selling cheap Temu-style products rather than genuine local goods, so it’s worth looking carefully before buying.

Jet2 Excursions

We booked several excursions through Jet2, and our representative was very helpful in recommending which trips and markets would suit us best.

One of the excursions was a boat trip. We’d done a similar trip last year in Izmir, but this one was much better. It was much less crowded, giving me plenty of opportunities to snorkel, which I absolutely loved.

Lunch was included, although drinks were extra. Thankfully they were reasonably priced.

We also spent a day visiting Dalyan, which was another enjoyable trip.

The day started at the famous mud baths, which were great fun. One warning though—the showers afterwards were absolutely freezing! If you’re travelling with younger children, that’s something worth knowing beforehand.

Afterwards we travelled by boat and stopped for lunch. Unfortunately this was probably the only part of the excursion we didn’t enjoy. You’re effectively taken to one restaurant, leaving you with little choice but to eat there. For four meals (three chicken skewers, one chicken nuggets meal and four drinks) the bill came to around £41, which we thought was very expensive.

After lunch we continued by boat to see the famous Lycian rock tombs, which were absolutely incredible and well worth seeing.

The final stop was the Beach. It was nice to visit, but it was extremely busy and incredibly hot during our visit. We were lucky enough to spot a couple of turtles, although seeing them is very much down to luck.

You’ll also be offered the chance to buy cooked crab to feed the turtles. If you decide to do this, I’d recommend buying just one or two tubs. At around £10 per tub, it’s quite expensive and you really don’t need any more than that.

Our Final Day

We spent our final full day relaxing around the pool before trying paddleboarding and kayaking.

The gentleman who runs the paddleboarding and kayaking activities was absolutely lovely. My wife and eldest daughter went paddleboarding twice, while my 10-year-old daughter and I chose to go kayaking up the river.

Ironically, we actually saw far more baby turtles on the river than we did during the Dalyan excursion.

To make the day even more special, the instructor somehow arranged to surprise us by bringing a birthday cake out on the river so we could celebrate our daughter’s birthday while we were kayaking.

It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and it perfectly summed up our entire holiday. Time and time again, it was the people who made this resort so special.

Final Thoughts

We’ve stayed in some lovely hotels over the years, but this is genuinely the best all-inclusive holiday we’ve had.

Yes, there are a few small areas that could be modernised, but they are completely overshadowed by the outstanding service, incredible food, excellent facilities and, above all else, the amazing staff.

Every member of staff we encountered genuinely cared about making our holiday as enjoyable as possible. From reception and housekeeping to the restaurant teams, bar staff, activity staff and everyone in between, we were made to feel welcome every single day.

Special thanks once again to Eray Genç, Tuğçe Çetingül, Yuger, Yilody, Dede Firmansyah, Cansu, and the paddleboarding instructor, all of whom helped create memories our family will never forget.

If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. We would return in a heartbeat, and without question this resort has set the standard by which we’ll judge every all-inclusive holiday in the future.

Terrace bar

We had another fantastic trip. This was our third trip here. Cansu Sartias at the terrace bar is the hidden gem. Located just next to the gazeboland it is a must visit. Great service and always brilliant.

Honest review. Lovely time

We loved this hotel. Lagoon villas are amazing and would recommend staying in them. We liked the bar and the staff there were lovely.

There was a man that was always available for the buggy to take us for dinner every time I love that.

Food was beautiful and good variety loads of choice your wouldn't go hungry. We didn't try any of the restaurants as we were happy with the buffet.

Breakfast was nice service can be a bit slow for drinks.

Beach restaurant we loved we ate there every day for lunch.

Patisserie was lovely the pastries were lovely, I felt the ice-cream could open a bit earlier. As there was nothing else available for kids.

Only down I had was the ice-cream opening time I felt was late no ice pops or slush available.

when it did open you were made to stand for about 10 minutes (3 children with me) in 35 degree heat so the staff can serve themselves ice-cream and a few other work staff first I didn't like this. It was rude.

Also in the potato bar they would close early and keep the potatoes. The same as the crepe stand.

We did have a horrible encounter with 2 woman in the massage hut they laughed at my mother when she walked past, they said to her massage and my mum replied no thank you and they laughed in her face really horrible and in really annoyed my mum.

My father did get a massage and the staff in the spa were lovely and the lady that did his massage was lovely and the man that was walking around promoting with 2 woman were also lovely.

Kids club was nice and a variety of things to do.

Entertainment was on late so unfortunately we didn't get to see any of it.

Mosquitoes were an issue but nothing we could do. We did but spray ect

We went on private boat trip through the hotel and it was absolutely amazing it was the highlight of our holiday our captain was brilliant and made the trip amazing. Will remember it always.

Beach bar was nice slow staff at times even when it wasn't busy but it's a lovely area to sit at in the evening.

Highlights for us as a group of 9 were the villas the bar at the villa the selection of treats at the villas. The rooms and really everything about that area. The food was lovely and drinks available were good.

Would I return. Yes I would to a villa.
