- The Tower Hotel
This resort can boast a location which has the advantages of both mountains and seaside. An added charm is the fact that is stands just 300 metres from the beach. Fethiye is only 13 km away and the blue lagoon is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel. All 70 guestrooms are air-conditioned and feature private balconies with panoramic views of the countryside. The rooms are simply but comfortably furnished in bright colours. The hotel has a restaurant with a spacious open-air terrace where guests can enjoy traditional Turkish buffet dinners. For recreation, the hotel offers a swimming pool with children's section, a billiards room and table tennis facilities. Additional leisure activities in the vicinity include boat trips and paragliding.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The Tower is set back from the main strip but in a very good location to access the shops and restaurants in the area. The pool area is spotless, the inside and outside eating areas are also very clean and laid out well. Both bar areas are comfortable and clean. The rooms are dated and could do with a little updating but are comfortable and well located around the site giving easy access to all areas. The biggest positive of this hotel is the staff team, Baba, Onur, Rambo, and Rasheed are are credit to the hotel. Nothing is too much of a problem, always smiling and welcoming. There friendly and willing to chat but know when you wish to be left alone. I would return in a heartbeat.
The staff were the best we have ever experienced so friendly, kind and professional. From our late night arrival with Mohammad to the warm welcome from Baba and Rasheed, Onur and Rambo, everyone made us feel at home. Amazing people so kind, polite and ready to help! Glad we met them! They were especially wonderful with our 16 month old daughter, she absolutely loved them and had the best time. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very close to the center and beach. We honestly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back! We already miss the place and the stuff!
We had a great stay here, two adults and a child. There were always free sunbeds at the pool, and the breakfast was good but the same every day. The pool was large enough. It was a good location, 10 minutes from the beach. We stayed for 10 days and happy with our choice
Just returned from 10 nights and would definitely return. Had the most relaxing time, pool area is quiet with an amazing view of mountains and paragliding and is always kept clean, had no trouble what so ever getting a lounger. The staff are all friendly and made us feel welcome, cleaners do a great job and are busy all day, the gardener is also busy doing jobs, bar staff were excellent remember everyone by name. We stayed half board and as there was less than 20 people staying half board you are given a menu to choose your 3 courses (no point putting a buffet on for less than 20) and I have to say everything we ordered was delicious and there was a good selection. Breakfast was traditional Turkish which if you don't like (I do) there's a small selection of cereal and bread for toast also a lady cooking omelette to order. Location is great literally a couple of minutes walk to bars/shops ect (which you can not hear at night from hotel) and a 5min walk to beach. Rooms are quite basic, there is no kettle in room (I took travel kettle) no mugs (bought one from shops) there is glasses though for cold drinks, had to pay I think it was £3 a day to hire fridge in room, also air con was great, there is a TV in room. I also quite liked there was a bookcase (where breakfast is served) where people can leave their books and take others to read (I only took 2 books so was glad I could get my hands on more reading material) all in all I had a great time and would return to this hotel, I would even return on my own as felt so safe there. Also if you fancy a really good cocktail I highly recommend The SO Bar a 5min walk from hotel the cocktails are to die for and are reasonably priced.
Where do I begin - we’ve been coming here for 8 years . My review is honest. My husband and myself go on a couple of holidays a year one is my 5 star one is my stay here . Please don’t look at the star rating for the tower. This is a traditional hotel owned by a Turkish family , it isn’t full of gimmicks . The pool area is fabulous and Baba and the team make your stay amazing . Oner will do everything he can to make your stay faultless. Fatima the cleaner made my day by making me animals from the towels . Simple gestures but very humbling. The breakfast is typical Turkish but the omelette maker is a gem. If you want a full English you can get there but to be honest we we happy every morning . The rooms are clean and the pool area exemplary we didn’t have to fight once for a bed . There were quite a few Turkish families there but they didn’t seem to access the pool . Towels. Changed every day . My only gripe was the cost of the drinks a wonderful bar but a little overpriced . I told the management and I am hopefully they will do something about it .
