5* service and a great location
We have just returned from our stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. The hotel is so pretty and blends effortlessly into the natural landscape providing a true oasis of calm and plenty of shady spots for relaxing out of the mid-day sun. It really is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and you are also spoilt with sea views from the restaurant terrace where you can also dreamily gaze at the paragliders floating gracefully down to the beach. But the true stars of this hotel are the staff. Providing a 5* service, nothing is too much trouble. They are so pleasant and polite, very helpful and really hard working. We had the pleasure of making great friends with Murat and Kamil in the restaurant who really made our stay here a delight - big characters and very funny guys. We will definitely return.

The hotel was just a dream, staff made the experience extra special!
My partner and I agreed that this hotel was just a dream. From the view at breakfast and dinner, to the staff that were so warm and lovely, they went out of their way on many occasions in particular a gentleman with silver hair that managed breakfast and dinner time, as well as a member of staff called Kaan who always made us smile! Location is just perfect with markets and beach just a few minutes away. Breakfast was delicious with so many options! Room was lovely and clean. Being animal lovers we fell in love with the cats and kittens that roamed around the hotel area. Whilst we were there, there was one cat that was pregnant. We would love to see any photo's of the kittens once they're born <3
Fabulous hidden gem
Felt so fortunate to have found this gem of a hotel. Just had a fabulous week with our family at Symbola. Visited Olu Deniz many times before and definitely our favourite hotel. Views are fabulous, quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff that go over and above to look after you. Our children loved it also as only a short walk down the hill to the shops and beach. The pool at the hotel was clean and quiet. When we first arrived we found the steps up to our room a challenge but soon got used to them as happy to be up the hillside away from the hustle and bustle of the other hotels in the area. We enjoyed relaxing breakfasts in the restaurant spotting Woodpeckers and Jays just metres away from us in the trees and enjoying beautiful sunsets and mountain views in the evening whilst eating dinner. The hotel has some resident cats which the children loved. One had some very new kittens which was a treat to see. The only negative thing we found was sometimes at the weekend especially, you can hear the noise of music from the other hotels down the hill at night but we shut the shutters, windows and soon got to sleep. If you stay here you will not be disappointed. We would 100% recommend 🫶
At best a 2 star stay!
Sadly I’ve got to be truthful, this hotel is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. We were fooled by the reviews and amazing photos but now question their authenticity after having first hand witnessed a stay at this hotel. We booked to stay here for 6 nights for our first wedding anniversary but we had to check out and urgently book somewhere else the following morning because:
- the rooms had a particularly bad smell like sewage and mould (they changed our room for us but 2nd room smelt the same)
- the jacuzzi was filthy with stains and insects everywhere
- there was black mould all over the bathroom
- the toilet was broken and when flushed was leaking out on the floor
- cobwebs all over the room
- insects absolutely everywhere in the bathroom, in the room. These include beetles, flies, mosquitos and other creepy crawlies. Yes we are in a nature reserve and we should expect some but at this hotel they were everywhere including a lot inside the room.
- hair on the towels (not ours)
- shower screen was filthy, not sure if this had ever been cleaned.
- breakfast was awful, no way 4 star. Eggs are served through a hatchett and the chefs T-shirt was full of stains.
Beautiful views but be aware that if you book a jacuzzi room you better have strong legs and knees because there’s around 50 steps you have to climb up to go to your room (every time you need to go to your room).
The best bit about this hotel was the service. Mehmet at reception was so helpful, and a delight to deal with. He’s the reason we gave this hotel 5 stars for service. Management were co-operative with allowing us to cancel and find some place else and for that we have given the hotel 2 stars, otherwise my rating for the hotel overall would be 1 star. The internet connection was also very good during the short time we stayed there.
All in all you get what you pay for so if you are on a budget and don’t mind about cleanliness then fair enough but if you think you are getting a 4 star hotel at a good price then think again because at best this hotel is 2 stars.
Beautiful Views, Great Staff, and a Peaceful Atmosphere
As someone visiting Ölüdeniz for the first time, I was truly impressed by this hotel.
The atmosphere is wonderful. Surrounded by trees, it has a peaceful and relaxing environment, and at night it really stands out with its beautiful ambiance.
The staff were incredibly helpful and always willing to assist with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The rooms on the upper levels have better views and are definitely worth choosing if you're comfortable with stairs. However, I would not recommend them for elderly guests, as the hotel is built on a hillside and reaching the upper rooms requires climbing what feels like 7 or 8 floors of stairs.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily choose this hotel again on our next visit to Ölüdeniz.
