This attractive beach hotel is located within a beautiful garden area only around 10 minutes away from the popular pebble beach of Ölüdeniz and the turquoise blue sea. Links to the public transport system are just a stone's throw from the hotel (around 50 m) and there is a lake around 500 m away. The immediate vicinity (around 100 m) offers a vast array of shopping facilities as well as numerous restaurants, various bars, pubs, cafes and many other entertainment facilities. There is a nightclub only about 150 m away from the hotel and the worth-seeing centre of Fethiye is around 13 km away, which is easily reached by car or with the regular minibus transport.
this hotel comprises a total of 189 double rooms and 6 suites over 3 storeys. The hotel welcomes guests in a lobby with a 24-hour reception, hotel safe and currency exchange counter. A bar, a hairdresser's salon, a small supermarket, a shop, a games room, a TV room, public Internet access and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with a terrace (highchairs for kids included) also count amongst the hotel's facilities. Furthermore, there are laundry and room services as well as medical assistance, a playground and a car park.
The modern rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, air conditioning and a hire safe. Each of these tastefully furnished rooms also comes with a balcony.
Guests will find an attractively designed swimming pool with children's pool, a sun terrace, a range of sun loungers and parasols as well as a snack bar in the hotel grounds. A variety of water sports opportunities are available on the beach from local operators, additional fees apply. Sports enthusiasts have the opportunity to play a game of pool/ snooker or table tennis as well as use the gym or go horse riding. A seasonal entertainment programme for adults rounds up the offers.

Amazing hotel
Had a great time, really nice staff and loads of entertainment for everyone.
A long but accurate tale of our experience
We arrived at Karbel at midnight to be told that the rooms we'd booked wouldn't be ready until the next day. So we were put in "temporary " rooms and told to come to reception after breakfast. After breakfast we were told to come back at 12. At 12 we were told to come back at 2. At 2 our friends did get moved to their room. We were told to come back after breakfast the following day, which we did, to be told to come back at 2 ! When we did actually get our room. So basically 2 days wasted ! The room we got was top floor, bright and airy, and nice and clean. (the cleaners are brilliant) The food on offer was ok, we always found something to eat. The drinks are basic, but ok. All cocktails are extra. The biggest problem we had with the hotel, being non smokers, is that it seemed (to us) to be a smokers paradise ! There is a fabulous terrace with great views to sit and eat. Unfortunately you are surrounded by smokers !! Fortunately there is a large dining room where we had to eat. The same goes for the area by the pool bar, which is very noisy and smells like an old ashtray. We didn't use the main pool as the the sunbeds were claimed immediately it was opened, also it was very noisy. There is an adults only pool, which is accessed via a grim passageway. Once there it's nice and peaceful, although the water is cool. We spent a few hours there on 2 days, until the smokers arrived ! The staff in general were cheerful and helpful. We reported everything to the Tui rep, Maria, who was very helpful, and formally logged our issues. We heard several people at reception with similar problems to ours with regards to over booking. The resort is in a lovely setting with plenty to see and do. We booked a boat trip with Laika tours, which was great fun and good value for money. The strip has got plenty of bars and shops and comes to life in the evenings. Be aware that most of the shop keepers are polite and chatty, one or two did become quite rude when it became obvious that we weren't going to buy anything.

Would not stay again.
When we arrived our room was not ready we were put in an alternative room and told to come back after Breakfast. We were eventually given the key to our room at 2 pm. Room was very spacious, clean, had adequate space for our clothes, the bathroom was clean and had a large shower. The Safe in the room is charged at £2 per day and if you require an extra key it is £10. Staff friendly, food ok we always found something we liked. Not always very hot. We sat inside as there seemed to be so many people smoking on the terrace seating area. The choice and quality of the all inclusive drinks was very poor. The pool looked lovely but as is the norn in all hotels a queues formed up to an hour before the gates opened. The adult pool was quite but in some areas there was a drain smell. The furniture in the pool bar area needs replacing, some of the wicker chairs had sharp broken edges on the seats which could cut you leg. The wi fi worked well in public areas but was intermittent in the room. The hotel is in a good position a 10 minute walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. I personally would not book this hotel again and would advise non-smokers to give it a miss.
Good week away
Was dubious based on some reviews but it turned out to be a good holiday. Upon arrival despite booking via Tui we were told no booking had been made with them. After 30 mins they managed to find it. There were several others in same situation. We were upgraded due to inconvenience. However despite the room being lovely it overlooked the strip and loud music went on until 1am at Cosmos. They didn't have a room we could move to so managed to buy some ear plugs! Avoid block 1. Daily entertainment was minimal. Darts, pool and water polo. Even ling entertainment was ok but most nights we went out but what we saw looked ok. Im a fussy eater - i really only eat beef. Breakfast was ok. Had toast and fruit every day. Lots of variety at lunchtime. Snack bar downstairs. Evening meals were good in my opinion. Beef stews, chilli's, moussaka, lasagne to name a few. Drink choice was mainly beer, vodka, gin, rum. Staff were fine. The photographer was amazing. The photos were great.

A very basic 1 star hotel
We recently stayed here for our family holiday. We had a medically complex child with us, we requested a ground floor room which we were given.
Our room was ready for us on arrival. However, there was 2 adults and 2 children in a tiny double room, there wasn’t even enough beds for us all.
Outside our balcony there was an air conditioning unit constantly dripping water.
The rooms were basic but appeared clean on first look, however, both of our children (one who is medically complex and has severe airway disorders) developed a cough and wheezy breathing whilst we were there which we assumed was possibly due to the aircon, it wasn’t until our final day when I moved the bed our child had been sleeping on to check we had everything that we discovered black mould all around where she had been sleeping all week.
The food is awful, we ate out every day after looking at what was on offer, the snack bar is ok but everything else is absolutely awful. No allergy signs / ingredient list anywhere for people with allergies.
The pool area is ok however many of the sunbeds are broken, my step dad broke his finger on the second day of the holiday due to a broken sunbed and around the pool area is ridiculously slippy with lots of adults and children slipping when walking, there is no one drying the floors despite how slippery they are.
There is no entertainment at all during the day, nothing for children just a water polo for adults once a day. The night entertainment is basic and way louder than it needs to be.
The all inclusive drinks again are basic.
The room key needed to be reset multiple times and the cleaners also just walk in the room even if the do not disturb sign is on the door, so that is basically pointless as they don’t even acknowledge it.
The location is ideal right at the top of the strip, however there is cars parked all over at the front of the hotel meaning prams and wheelchairs have to go on the busy road to get to the strip.
Overall a very basic stay with lots of flaws. I wouldn’t class this as an all inclusive hotel, more so just a very basic 1 star hotel and not worth the money.
The photographer is amazing, probably the best attribute of the hotel.
