The hotel karbel sun prides itself offering a relaxed happy atmosphere where all are welcome to enjoy our facilities. Many of our guest return year after year to enjoy our beautiful gardens with orange and lemon trees situated around our pool area. Our staff are friendly and all english speaking.we have a 24 hour reception which can deal with all your requests no matter how big or small they may be. Turkish Delight?
The hotel has a great location on the strip with an impressive reception area, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Pool area and garden v nice and all areas are clean due to hardworking staff. Wifi good in hotel and saves buying an esim. However, we had room 14..described as a SMART room with garden view and whilst the interior was fine..upon opening the patio doors was met with an olive tree and a virtually unusable balcony facing a noisy main road! Attached pics show builders rubbish left behind and the room got no natural light. The pharmacy was across the road..you may need it to get treatment for pollution inhalation..v underwhelmed and totally misleading advertising. Breakfast also lacking, poor quality and largely Turkish. A lot of food not labelled, no choice of coffees and fresh fruit days old. I suspect a lot of waste. As a result we ate out elsewhere each evening not risking a similar experience and we didnt notice many guests eating there during our stay. No entertainment until night we left, and hotel lacks atmosphere which is a pity given its prime location. Overall we had a good holiday going out each day, plenty to see and do and good places to eat and drink.

Amazing!!!!!
The Bar staff are lovely, cocktails here are amazing and cheap.Talip kurt is very helpful and makes you feel welcome. His english is amazing so if you need anything best person to go to.

Rooms not what they sell you
Firstly let me start by saying the hotel is nice the reception area is pleasant and the pool area is comfortable. Bar and restaurant staff are friendly and helpful breakfast has plenty of choice and there is a nice atmosphere .unfortunately for us I booked a large superior double room and as described on there website have a magnificent garden or pool view. Well as there were 2 couples we could compare the 2 rooms and our was most definitely not a large double with a magnificent view , when I spoke to the receptionist to explain this rooms was not what we booked she laughed at us and told us to come back next day and speak to the manager which I did but he was no better . He told us he would sort another room in the next couple of days but this went on for the 9 days we were there and we were never moved . We knew it was not the room we booked because the other couples room was a lot larger with more furniture and a pool view where as we could barley pass each other in the room and had a veiw of the roof of the hotel next door with a balcony barely big enough for a chair (see pictures). Having paid for a large double we were clearly given a standard double which is not what i expect. It's a shame because this will stop me from staying at this hotel again and everything else is nice

Nice hotel, shame about the area...
What a lovely hotel and staff, we've just spent 14 days here in very relaxed and beautiful settings, the restaurant staff are always smiling and happy to give you friendly service, The Resturant is Run by the lovely Memhet who has been very helpful and friendly since we arrived always says hello or stops for a chat making sure everything is ok, if I could I'd give him a gold star every day. Our room was cleaned regular the view wasn't as nice as hoped for with bush and tree branches invading our balcony with only rooftop views to look at so we closed the curtains to block it out Room was a nice size we stayed in a smart room there's no lifts in the hotel so be prepared for plenty of steps or like us a bit of a hike to the rooms. there is a walking area that goes down to the beach outside the hotel full of repetitive shops a few supermarkets, Drs and pharmacy, I've personaly avoided the shops due to the persistance of the staff to get you to shop there and I'm not a lone if only they'd just let you browse the chances are you'd probably buy something, but no they just keep scaring people off, it was like this 25yrs ago in Marmaris I thought they'd have learnt by now hey ho their loss, unfortunatly once bitten twice shy we wob't be back...
