Relaxing stay at the Karbel Sun!
We had an amazing time at this hotel and honestly couldn’t fault our stay. We were given exactly the room we booked — a very large Deluxe Superior Room with a garden view.
The room: The best air conditioning we’ve ever experienced in a hotel! The room was lovely and spacious, the bathroom was very clean, and the bed was firm but comfortable. We slept really well throughout our stay. We also noticed that the air conditioning filters must be changed regularly, as we didn’t suffer from the sore throats, blocked noses or feeling unwell that we sometimes experience when staying abroad.
The pool: The pool area was excellent. We loved spending a few hours there every day. It was clean, relaxing and, most importantly, there were no stressful “lounger wars”! It was never overly noisy either, so it was a really lovely place to relax.
The location: This was probably the best thing about the hotel. It’s only a 2-minute walk to the Dolmuş road and is right at the top of the strip, meaning everything is literally on your doorstep. Despite being so close to everything, it was still lovely and quiet at night. We were far enough away from the late bars that we couldn’t hear any music from our room, which was perfect.
The restaurant: We had breakfast at the hotel a few times and thought there was a good selection of food. The restaurant always seemed busy with other guests enjoying breakfast too.
The staff: The staff were lovely. They gave you your space and allowed you to enjoy your holiday without constantly being around you, but they were always there whenever you needed anything.
Overall: My boyfriend and I had an excellent stay and genuinely loved this hotel. Everything we wanted from a holiday was right there — a great pool, a fantastic location, a comfortable room and a peaceful atmosphere. We would absolutely stay here again and can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Karbel Sun is a great hotel in Oludeniz.
Karbel Sun is a fabulous hotel with a wonderful Manager and kind staff. Clean rooms and a lovely pool area. It's in a great location. The brekfast's delicious, too. We'd happily return again.
Enjoyed our stay
Had a lovely stay at the Kabel Sun. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, fantastic location, nice pool and gardens and very good breakfast and restaurant. This was our second stay and it has improved since our visit 3 years ago. It is on the top end of the strip, but, surprisingly, not affected by any noise or disturbance from this busy thoroughfare. Great location for taxis, shops, restaurants, the blue lagoon, Oludeniz beach and boat trips.
Lovely hotel
Stayed here early August, never been to Turkey before. we loved the hotel, all the staff were so nice, especially Isa, who was always such a pleasant and helpful guy. Memmet the restaurant manager was also so nice to us both, they always addressed us by our first names, they are a credit to the company. We were half board, breakfast was ok, fresh fruit and salads, there were omelettes, fried eggs and boiled eggs on the hot counter. Would have liked some yogurt though. Evening meals were very nice, and very nicely presented. rooms were cleaned every day as were the towels were changed every day. the downside was the wifi, its not good, very hit and miss, we quite often picked up the wifi for the hotel across the road ! The hotel is in a great position, away from the more lively area, but a less than a hundred yards away. The hotel manager was also very nice, and helpful regarding our late checkout.
Horrible rude manager
Having stayed at this hotel 4 times previous I was really looking forward to going back. My stay was ruined by the hotel manager. From the start he was rude. Our room had ants everywhere, massive stand on the walls. The bathroom was mouldy and the door didn’t lock. When I asked for this to be sorted he was very rude and tried to say it was the card I said. I it’s the lock. After me being spoken to really bad and me standing my ground he finally sent maintenance to fix it. Breakfast is not great or worth the money. Food very nice from the menu. Pool area is nice but this stay it was dirty and stones in the pool which hurt your feet. Staff at the bar were lovely. It’s put me off ever going back to turkey again
