The hotel is located approximately 200m from the village of Hisaronu, 8 km from the market town of Fethiye and 4km from Oludeniz beach. Links to the local public transport network are in the immediate vicinity, and restaurants, bars, nightspots and shopping venues are all close at hand. The establishment is approximately 55km from Dalaman Airport. The hotel consist of 5 blocks, 3 of them are 2-storey blocks which are called garden blocks and 2 of them are 4-storey blocks which are called residence blocks. There is an outdoor pool with a children's section and a poolside snack bar where the whole family can enjoy a day of sunbathing. Guests can also relax in the Turkish bath and sauna or enjoy massage and SPA treatments. Alternatively, they can enjoy a game of table tennis or stay in shape with a trip to the fitness centre. Entertainment programmes are available for adults and children alike..
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Second stay at this hotel, back in September, couldn’t fault it, we had a swim up room, perfect, rooms cleaned every day, staff friendly, good variety for breakfast,
What a lovely hotel! Pool area is amazing, never struggled for a sunbed. Music always good , not too loud. Thought the pool aerobics was brilliant to watch . Only thing I’d comment on is the beds weren’t the comfiest and the breakfast needs some improvement. Aside from this it wouldn’t put me off the hotel as the area is brilliant, only 3 minutes walk to the main strip and the pool was beautiful. Will be returning.
Great location and quiet enough away from the hussle and bussle but still within easy walking distance. Rooms and hotel - very clean with daily room changes Breakfast - could be better with a few more options, honey dew melon would be great and fresher pancakes. Food and drink prices - went out mostly as able to get slightly cheaper options but food was very tasty.
Overall would visit again but with a few little changes and maybe a little cheaper. Water provided daily to clean teeth would have been nice instead aiming for water purchase in the hotel for this.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay at green forest. We wanted a quiet location close enough to the main strip and this was ideally situated.
The good bits... The rooms were cleaned daily and more than adequate rooms, but erring towards 3* if I'm honest. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, especially Ramazan, Burcu and Sube. The pool bar menu was relatively small but good quality and perfectly reasonable selection for lunch The food and drinks prices were comparable to eating out. Jeffery did a grand job as the one man entertainment team Mr Cheeps was friendly and no bother
The not so good bits... The sunbed-hogging towel brigade... placing towels on prime spots, then barely using the sunbeds all day. Luckily the hotel got quieter so there was always a few free ones for later risers. Hotel allowed glasses around the pool and i lost count of the broken ones... cue cut feet and glass in the pool just waiting to happen. Slamming doors. Yes they are self-closing fire doors, but most of us could close them quietly, plus you don't need to let them slam at 3 o'clock in the morning or 7am when you secure your sunbed!!! The BBQ night was cancelled at short notice with 27 participants (only 3 short). We were looking forward to the live music and felt this was shortsighted of the management since the potential profits from the drinks orders surely outwayed the shortfall and it seemed greed was at play here rather than the entertainment of the guests.
Would we return? Quite possibly, but we would like to explore other hotels in the area first.
Had the best holiday!!! The manager Jeffery is the best love him xx
