Alize Hotel

As two sisters going on holiday for some sun we had an amazing stay at the Alizé hotel! The amenities were amazing and the pool was lovely. Went in mid September and there were plenty of sunbeds - not sure what this would be like in peak summer time. The food was very fresh and had lots of variety every day and offered lots of opportunities to eat aswell including ice cream every day and snacks after lunch. The rooms were lovely and clean, nice little balcony and good shower aswell. The beds were comfy and aircon worked very well. The staff and general manager were so welcoming and friendly. They are very helpful and will do anything to accommodate you. The location is perfect- just off the strip so it’s more quiet however a very close walk when you want to go and explore the strip and beach front. Lovely friendly people and lots of activities to do at a good price! Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Nice hotel, nice area, nice staff, horrible food. The rooms in the hotel are nice and tidy. Decent bed and shower. Had to pay £3 pounds per day for the safe but that isn't too bad compared to others in the area. Hotel grounds are nice and are kept clean and tidy. Holiday advert said there was an animation team but we didn't see anyone in 7 days. To be honest it was quite nice to sit around a quiet poolside. No issues getting sunbeds. Staff at the bar were helpful but there is only one bar so it can take some time to get served. Nighttime entertainment was a bit ropey. It wasn't advertised very well and some "acts" appeared later than advertised and left after about 20 minutes. The big letdown for myself was the food. I know it is end of season but it really seemed like the kitchen had given up. There was one meat dish every night but it wasn't great. One night they had kebabs. The head chef was giving them out , one per person (they weren't big) and when i went to eat it the thing was red raw inside. Same when some chicken was available. One night they had turkey which looked well past its cooked time. The head chef again gave out small handfuls which were horrible and dry. Lots of salad if that's your thing but if you want a nice hot meat dish you were out of luck. Always a lack of cutlery, dirty plates and you were lucky if the drinks machine was working. It seemed like it was under staffed and those that were there tried their best but had too much to do. To get decent chips you had to go to the snack bar where they were cooked in front of you. You could only get red cabbage when they were serving jacket potatoes which seemed strange. Never done it before in the other all inclusive hotels i have been to in the area but ended up going out for a meal on two nights (Chinese down the road is lovely but quite expensive) which you shouldn't have to do on an all inclusive holiday. Breakfast was due to start at 07:30 but very rarely opened on time. When it did a few times the person who made the omelets was late and the toaster was temperamental. Glasses for drinks were small and would recommend taking your own or buying a cheap one on the strip. There is no kettle in your room so no tea/coffee making facilities available in the room which again, is strange for all inclusive. You get two bottles of water in your fridge when you arrive but nothing after that. For water you have to refill your bottle up at the tap. Some of the water containers have had a hard life and looked horrible so you would sometimes rather have a beer than water. Good mix of British, Turkish, German and others at the hotel. Hotel is really close to the main strip but no issues with noise. For late checkout it is an extra £30 until 4 o'clock which is reasonable. Wi fi is fine around the pool but as soon as you go to your room there is no signal. To use the Alize wifi you have to sign in with your passport number onto an unsecured network so that not great. As soon as you check out the hotel removes your passport from its system which means you then cannot access their Wi-Fi. So if you leave at 12 but have to wait around by the bar for 6 hours for your pick up you wont have free wifi. Ive never know other hotels to do this. This year i found shopping in Hisaranu better and cheaper then in Olu Deniz itself. Hisaranu price things up so you know what you are walking into before the inevitable haggle. There is only one bar on site and the bar area has about 10 tables which is nowhere near enough for a hotel of its size. Same goes for the dining area. At least twice we had to hang around as the inside, outside and snack bar were all full up. In my opinion there is a reason that the Alize was a "cheap" holiday compared to other hotels in the region. Im afraid that as nice as the hotel was, the food really let it down and i would not consider going back to it.

We stayed here during September 2026, oh dear, where to start? Location - brilliant. Rooms - dated but fine. Cleanliness - OK. Atmosphere - good. Noise level - no problem at all. Service - the staff are very helpful, friendly and seemingly happy. Amenities - the pool area is nice enough, there was nothing else we could find. However, I have never stayed in a hotel so totally ruined by the penny pinching attitude of the management. Ok so we take our own kettle out of choice, but we didn't expect to have to take our own knives, forks, spoons, cups, toaster, coffee machine, all of which were either all of the time or some of the time missing or out of order. Wait 15 minutes for somebody to bring cups for breakfast at the coffee machine, then find there is no milk, then no coffee, 30 minutes to get a drink at breakfast! Overall the food was served on the basis of no expense spent - bland boring, very poorly prepared. We gave up after 3 days and ate out for the rest of the stay which we did not expect from a 4 star all inclusive hotel We booked because we thought some of the negative reviews were a tad exaggerated - they weren't. Value - a 2 star hotel at best
