bad experience, food reptation it worsen my vacation
Disappointing Stay – Misleading Information, Poor Hygiene, and Lack of Amenities
I stayed at Point Beach Hotel in Marmaris this September and was very disappointed with several aspects of the stay:
Misleading Concept & Accommodation: I booked this as an adult-only hotel, but there were too many children. Furthermore, we were placed in an old building that looks completely different from the pictures on social media. The elevator was painfully slow, and closing the main room doors made a huge noise.
Room Noise: The road-side room was extremely noisy, making it difficult to rest.
Repetitive Food & Pests: The all-inclusive menu was identical every single day. Flies were also constantly over the uncovered food in the dining area.
Hygiene Practices: Cafeteria staff cleaned tables and placemats using only water without any detergent.
Missing Amenities: Basic items like beach towels, hair shampoo, and tissue papers were not provided at all.
While the overall cleanliness of the room itself was acceptable, management urgently needs to address the misleading hotel description, dining hygiene, and basic guest amenities.
Very pleasantly surprised
We were not looking forward to coming after reading the reviews on here. It was actually taking away the “looking forward to my holiday “ feeling. What can I say but we are very relieved,the room is clean a good size and our beds are very comfortable. We have a lovely sea view and the cleaners come every day. The food, well if those that complained couldn’t find anything to eat then that’s not down to the amount of choice. It’s fresh with lots of hot dishes, salads, soups and the bread is delicious. I haven’t even waited to get home to write this and still have 7 days to go. Yes will agree that the communal areas are a little shabby and not as clean but other than that I am relieved and pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly and helpful if not the best English, but I am on holiday in Turkey! We are looking forward to the rest of our stay and would say if you are coming please don’t worry. For what we paid we have definitely got value for money…

Point beach hotel
Honestly I don't get the bad reviews me and my wife stayed for 8 nights from 06/07/26 - 13/07/26 What I will say is this is ideal for couples or a lads or girls holiday definitely not for families though. The hotel location is perfect and it has its own private beach and we never struggled to get a sunbed. The pool is on the small side but once again perfect for couples and plenty of sunbeds once again. The room was cleaned daily. The alcohol is a bit on the poor side as all that's on offer is beer vodka or wine. But the barman there was spot on with the service and always had a smile on his face. The food was good always something different every night always tasted so good. There's also countless bars and restaurants on the beach walk front. And the prices are so good so if you booked half-board you wouldn't have a problem finding a decent meal. The shops out the front are good priced for clothes but always bargain with them and they will give you a good deal. Oh also when you arrive the rep will ask to see you the following morning but this is only so he can try to get you to buy excursion but there's many places outside the hotel that'll do it much cheaper. I do think because of the time of year me and my wife went was why it was so good because the day we left we did notice the beach was much busier than when we arrived. So maybe book for before the school holidays.
A few of the reviews say you have to pay for Aircon this is false.
And again some will say you will have to pay for WiFi this is false and you get free WiFi for your entire stay.

Shakey start but loved our time there
Honestly it didn’t have the best start, we arrived late and were shown to a twin room ( booked a double) and no food or drinks available , not a good start, caters for mostly Russian guests but front of house spoke good English , Anyhow went to reception in morning and we were moved to a triple room with a sea view , so much happier , Hotel has probably the best location ( for us ) in Marmaris literally 6 hotels from the harbour and six hotels from the main strip the other way , beach was very good and free drinks were available to us on the beach ! Food was Turkish so if you’re looking for a full English every morning this isn’t the place for you , but we found it really nice and well cooked . Boys in the bar couldn’t do enough for you , and front of house staff were lovely , pool is definitely a sun trap despite other reviews . For what we paid all inclusive we found this perfect , but if you want to sit at the pool bar all day and be a Brit abroad this is probably not the hotel for you .
