Hotel Epic

Epic Hotel, Marmaris We stayed at Epic Hotel in August 2025, and the experience was extremely poor from start to finish. The hotel description says parking is available at the hotel, but this is false. There is no car park for customers, so the information is misleading from the outset. The room was in a truly unacceptable condition. It looked as though only the bed linen had been changed. The shower had pink and black stains, the shower door was dirty and did not function properly, and water leaked from the sides and sprayed across the bathroom. The mirrors were covered in water stains, the sink was dirty, and the toilet still had traces from previous users. There was also hair and toenails on the floor, which is completely unhygienic. We asked to upgrade our room, but when a manager came to inspect the state of it, he simply pointed to the cleaners. They cleaned the room while we were still inside, sitting there with our legs up until they eventually finished. That alone says everything about the standard of the hotel. There was graffiti on the walls, including what looked like a number calculation, and it was still left there. The furniture was also broken and could not be used properly. The room had two balconies. On one, the plastic table had a burn hole and the door handle was broken, so the door had no proper handle. On the other, there was more hair and toenails left behind. Breakfast was served from 7:00 to 9:30, which is already a very short service window. We arrived at 9:20 and found that the hot food had already run out. After some effort and an angry exchange, we managed to get an omelet. When we asked for milk for coffee, we were told, “we don’t have any milk.” The selection of food was poor, there were not enough plates or cutlery, and guests ended up waiting while staff washed items and handed them straight back for reuse. Some cups were still dirty and had lipstick marks on them. The tables were not cleaned properly after customers, so we often had to sit at dirty tables or chairs, or no table at all. We tried dinner once and immediately regretted it. There were no plates, no clean tables, and the food choice was poor. It was simply not up to standard. We stayed four nights, and the only good thing was that the stay was short. There was no room refreshment at all. No shower gel, shampoo, toilet rolls, or fresh towels were provided. We had to buy basic items ourselves, including bin bags. That is not acceptable in any hotel. The public toilet in the hotel was filthy in the morning, with human faeces around it. That is beyond poor hygiene. At checkout, the receptionist was more interested in talking to another customer about his smoke time than dealing with paying guests properly. Basic manners and customer service were clearly missing. Overall, this hotel was a major disappointment. The parking claim was misleading, the room conditions were filthy, the furniture was broken, the food service was chaotic, hygiene was appalling, and the staff attitude at checkout summed up the whole stay.

Do not book her it’s terrible the rooms are disgusting when complained got moved was just same room different floor and was the same the balcony doors don’t lock at all the showers are full of mould so is the fridge when I complained to love holidays the manger came round pool and shouted at me in front of everyone also love holidays did nothing! Stay away!
