Grand Yazici Club Turban

Just returned from a fabulous two-week stay!

We had never stayed at the Turban before, only its sister hotel, the Palace, which we absolutely love. However, I have to say the Turban has won us over.

The hotel grounds are immaculate. Yes, the rooms are slightly dated, but they are spotlessly clean, which is all that matters to me. Our air conditioning wasn't great and kept cutting out, but every time we reported it, it was fixed promptly.

The food was incredible with plenty of choice. We ate at the Steak House and the Turkish restaurant in the evenings—both were amazing. The Italian at lunchtime was also fantastic. A special mention to the gentleman serving the ice creams, who was absolutely wonderful with my 3-year-old daughter. Such a lovely man.

The entertainment was fantastic. We especially loved the Nexus Party, the African Queens show, and the female singers and dancers at the beach bar (sorry, I can't remember their name!). After the beach bar entertainment, we loved heading back to the pool bar for a nightcap (or ten! 😂). A special mention to Emir who always looked after us and made such a fuss of my daughter, and to Esra on the roller skates, who was so sweet.

I heard a few people complaining about the Turkish singers and music at the beach bar, but honestly, what do people expect? We are in Türkiye, and many Turkish families holiday here too. The vast majority of the entertainment was in English anyway, and we really enjoyed experiencing some local culture.

The beach area is excellent—super clean and, in my opinion, the best private beach in Marmaris.

Last but certainly not least, I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the girls in the kids' club, they all do such a fantastic job and always have a smile on their faces.

The only tip I would give is that if you need reliable internet, you're better off getting a local SIM card or a portable Wi-Fi box, as the hotel Wi-Fi signal isn't the best. It didn't bother me as I was busy with my children, but I wouldn't want to rely on it to keep in touch with loved ones back home.

We are so sad to be home already and are missing the place so much. There were eight of us in our group, and we've all said we'll definitely be back. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel in Marmaris!

Our family had an amazing holiday at Club Turban Marmaris, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was well organized, and the staff made us feel welcome.

One of the things that impressed us the most was how clean the entire hotel was. The rooms, restaurants, pool areas, and public spaces were all kept spotless. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety every day, so everyone in our family could always find something they enjoyed. We also liked the different dining outlets, and the bar service was great, with a good selection of drinks. The evening entertainment and shows were fun and professionally organized.

A very special thank you to Özlem Hanım and the entire Kids Club team. They were fantastic with our children and made their holiday truly unforgettable. We also want to thank Shirin at the Ege Restaurant for her friendly and attentive service. A big thank you as well to the gentleman looking after the swimming pool, who worked tirelessly to keep the pool area clean and safe. In fact, every member of the staff we met was friendly, hardworking, and always happy to help.

The hotel’s location is beautiful. The beach is lovely, and one of the best features is that the resort is surrounded by mature trees, creating natural shade around both the beach and pool areas. Combined with the refreshing sea breeze, it made relaxing outside comfortable throughout the day, even in the summer heat.

The aquapark was another highlight, especially since we were traveling with two children. They had an incredible time, and it added so much fun to our family holiday.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Club Turban Marmaris. Excellent service, outstanding cleanliness, delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere made this one of our favorite family vacations. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable holiday in Marmaris.

Just got back from a very relaxing week at this lovely hotel. The grounds are simply beautiful and kept immaculately clean. Always plenty of sunbeds available unless you want some on the jetty, then you may have to get up a little earlier to reserve before breakfast. That was our favourite place to sunbath and cool off in the sea. Our room was a two bed family room in one of the bungalows. No noise issues at all. Food was excellent in the buffet dining hall, plenty of choice and variation throughout the week. Entertainment was also very good and gave us a real feel of Turkey. Cannot fault the staff at all, they work so hard and make you feel very welcome. The two waiters (Berk and Ugar) on skates on the beach jetty were fantastic and kept us hydrated all week with any drink you wanted, plenty of water, and delicious cocktails. The pool barmen (Ozzy and Em) were also fantastic and served us well all week, so friendly and chatty, we got to know them well by the end of the week. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, we were hardly in them to be honest. The a la carte restaurants were all lovely, plenty of lunch options, again you could have anything you wanted and were spoilt for choice. The coffee bar a firm favourite of mine, especially the iced lattes. Our children are adults so cannot comment on the kids club and entertainment. Would love to go back one day, and would recommend to anyone wanting a break away to completely relax.
