Amazing hotel
Came on Monday , Hotel is spotless and quiet no drunks . Food all good. Nothing is too much stress for anyone all please to help .will come back again . Rooms cleaned daily pool cleaned everyday . Taxis on 2 pound into town beach is a bus ride away staff are amazing will do anything for .stayed at the grand premium few years ago this hotel a lot better

A wonderfully restorative stay in beautiful tranquil surroundings..just as described!!
The Faros Hotel provides exactly what it says on the website…a tranquil home from home, in beautiful surroundings.
The Service and hospitality received in the hotel is excellent and I have experienced this over the many years that I have been drawn to
return.
The Faros is already overcoming the difficulties of the last couple of years and I could feel the wonderfully familiar sense of ‘life returning’ at the Faros.
The kindness of the Staff and their desire to ensure a comfortable stay is what draws myself and many other guests back.
The pool and sun-bed area is a lovely place to relax comfortably and I find it very peace inspiring. Music played is just right for
inspiring the joys and holiday vibes.
Rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious, with a choice of lovely views from balconies, my favourite the upper floors with the pool view and mountains creating atmosphere in the distance. The lovely ladies who ensure that rooms are clean and bedding, towels changed regularly will occasionally leave a creative surprise, crafting the towels which is a nice greeting to find on return from a day out.
The dining area with seating available indoor or on the pretty terraced area, surrounded by greenery and flowers, breakfast by the pool is a great way to start the day,
Chefs omelettes a favourite of mine and delicious variety of food served at lunch and in the evening.
The Staff aim to accommodate guest requests and I would say are genuine in their wish to make your stay a happy and memorable one, be it the lovely Manager or Receptionist Team who are only too happy to arrange for the local rep to arrange trips, among the many delights, for me the Turkish Bath a must with the pampering and massage treatment tlc.
A Dolmus transport services which stops right outside the Faros makes for easy access to Marmaris Centre and to the beach and local taxis are only a quick call away.
Beach towels are also provided at no extra charge.
I would highly recommend the Faros Hotel for however long your stay and I look forward to returning.

I wouldn't come back
Me and my partner came for a 10 day all inclusive holiday. As we arrived, first impressions was the pool was nice but the hotel was outdated. We went to our room and the bed was really low down and also the mattress felt like an ironing board, it was very hard. We never got a quilt or soft blanket, just a table cloth rough sort of blanket to share between 2. The aircon was nice but was either too hot or freezing cold. The rooms were also very outdated. The bathroom was okay. I can't fault the staff at all, they were really really lovely and tried to make the most of out what they had. The bar was run down, it had a crackly speaker and for all inclusive all they had was coke, lemonade, watery vodka and gin and wines. Snack time was rock hard, dry biscuit cakes and the food was awful. I am quite fussy but speaking to everyone else on the holiday they also hated the food. Breakfast, all I could eat was bread and tea as i dont want salad or cold meats/cheeses. Lunch was half decent but same old desserts every day. Dinner was horrible, it was always the same desserts with bland sauces, bland meats and not a lot of sides. Worst food I have ever had if I'm honest so I just lived off chips every evening. We could go to the sister hotel which was stunning but it is more expensive there but seeing as we paid for all inclusive we could get free lunch there but no drinks allowed, not even a water, so we were quoted over 150 lira for 2 drinks when we had paid for all inclusive at the same chain hotel which was strange. Overall, the hotel was okay but I had the worst 10 days of not eating and also not sleeping due to the cold aircon and mattress. But cannot fault the staff. Location was also good as you can jump on a bus outside 10 minutes to Marmaris beach. Location was quiet and tranquil. Also no entertainment.

Where do I start, hotel had no wifi and when it did work it worked for about 4 minutes. When asked if they could fix it they said “we tired to help and can’t” but others in the hotel had wifi. Breakfast was like they had just taken a crash course. My aircon was working when it felt like it. The pool on the other hand was good as was the location. There was a free pool table also. We were handed a drinks menu that said 17 Turkish lira and then got charged 170 per drink and more. “Oh sorry the menu is from four years ago” but by far my worst think about this hotel is the manager. Rude, unkind and not fit to run a hotel.

Visited Grand Faros Hotel 9th June 2023 Never again.. went to Izmir for surgery for 3 days came back to Hotel for last 2 days, the day I went home I went to put my clothes on what was laid on the spare bed to find my River island jeans missing ( had to travel home in jeans as I had to wear support stockings for plane) searched everywhere in my room and emptied my case twice. When I confronted the receptionist staff they didn’t give a Sh@t they brought the house maid to me we went to room to look & she near as damn it said I was lying! Then all I got was stares from her ! They definitely took my jeans only cleaners go in your rooms! Internets a big problem never working! Breakfast ok ! I would stay well clear of this hotel!
