DO NOT listen to the good reviews about this place. This is possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and we were thoroughly disappointed from the moment we arrived.
We booked a sea view suite with jacuzzi and walked into a room that was absolutely disgusting. There were dead bugs, dirt and grime all over the room (see attached photos). The balcony door also wouldn’t close properly, meaning we had to spend the first two days with the door left open. As a result, flies filled the room constantly. We did report this to reception and it was eventually fixed, but it should never have happened in the first place.
There was also a horrific smell constantly coming from the toilet/bathroom area that genuinely made us gag at times. It completely ruined the experience of being in the room and made it feel dirty and unpleasant no matter how much we tried to air it out.
To make matters worse, our room wasn’t cleaned at all for the first three days of our stay and it was only done after we had to repeatedly ask reception. For a supposedly all-inclusive hotel, the cleanliness standards were shocking throughout.
For the first two days we also had no hot water and no plug for the jacuzzi, meaning we couldn’t even use one of the main features we paid extra for. Again, both issues were eventually addressed after speaking to reception several times. However, when we finally tried to use the jacuzzi, the plug still didn’t work properly and I had to physically hold it down with my foot just to fill the tub. Once the water reached the jets, dirt and grime blasted out into the bath (also attached in photos). Absolutely vile.
The all-inclusive package was another huge disappointment. Certain drinks still had to be paid for, and you couldn’t even get a drink from the bar before 10am. The food was honestly disgusting — very little variety, hardly any options, and it was almost always cold. I read another review saying that if you’re not Russian, you may as well not stay here, and honestly I would agree. We really struggled to find anything enjoyable to eat during our stay.
The location is also misleading if you’re wanting to be close to Marmaris centre. It is roughly a 50 minute to 1 hour walk into the main centre of Marmaris, which became frustrating very quickly.
The beach itself is extremely rocky, making it difficult and uncomfortable to get in and out of the sea. The pool was tiny, only half full, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. There were only around 10 sun loungers and they were almost always empty, which says a lot in itself. We ended up having no choice but to use the beach instead.
One positive was the beach day beds, which were lovely and we never struggled to get one. However, if you wanted a drink while relaxing there, you had to walk all the way back into the restaurant because there was no beach service whatsoever.
Some members of staff were genuinely friendly and tried their best, but the waiter in the restaurant became quite rude towards us once he realised we weren’t enjoying the food.
I fully believe a holiday is what you make it, and we still tried our best to enjoy Marmaris itself, but this hotel genuinely dampened our mood throughout the trip. Had we been able to afford to move hotels, we absolutely would have.
… We enjoyed the stay a lot, good views, clean sea and nice weather all staff was friendly Hussein good guy 🤜
My stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. I would especially like to highlight the staff, who were extremely professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The employees were happy to answer all my questions and ensured guests' comfort throughout the entire stay.
The sea-view room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The hotel's location was also very convenient, close to the beach and public transportation.
If I visit this area again, I would definitely choose this hotel without hesitation.
Najlepszy hotel pod słońcem! Obsługa, recepcja, manager, place, beach, everything!!!!
A great hotel with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The manager Huseyin regularly checks whether guests are happy, and the waiter Jan, remembers everyone’s favourite drinks from the first day. Both of them also try to speak to guests in their own language, which is a thoughtful gesture. Everyone at the reception was very polite and always ready to help with any questions or requests. The beach attendant was also extremely helpful and played music that matched the guests’ preferences.
We arrived at around 5 a.m. and were given lunch boxes with food. On our last day, even though check-out was at noon, we were allowed to stay at the hotel until the evening, use all the facilities, and have both lunch and dinner.
The room was modern and clean, with a beautiful sea view.
The food was tasty and varied. Drinks are charged in the morning and after 10 p.m., except for water. At other times, soft drinks and selected alcoholic beverages are included.
The beach has comfortable sun loungers and direct access to the sea from the pier, although sometimes all the loungers are occupied. The water is clear and pleasantly cool.
The location is also very convenient. Turn left from the hotel for a livelier atmosphere, bars, and the town centre. Turn right for a peaceful walk along a lovely path surrounded by flowers and pine trees. The centre is easiest to reach by dolmuş, but you can also walk there along the promenade in about an hour.
