Steven’s experience

We had the most wonderful holiday at Casa De Maris and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel itself was fantastic, but what really made our stay so special was the amazing staff. Every member of the team was incredibly welcoming, friendly and always had a smile on their face. They went out of their way to make everyone feel at home, and by the end of the holiday they genuinely felt more like friends than hotel staff.

The entertainment team were one of the highlights of our trip. They put so much effort into making sure everyone had a great time, with fun games, activities and competitions throughout the day that encouraged guests to get involved. They created such a happy, relaxed atmosphere and were brilliant at making everyone feel included, no matter their age. Their energy and enthusiasm really made each day memorable, and the evening entertainment was always something to look forward to.

You can tell that everyone at Casa De Maris takes pride in what they do, and it really shows. The kindness, positivity and genuine care from all the staff made our holiday unforgettable. We’d love to return in the future and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, welcoming place with an incredible team of people

Kelly’s experience

Our stay at Casa De Maris was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. What really made the holiday so memorable was the incredible team of staff. Every single person we met was welcoming, friendly and always happy to help. They made such an effort to get to know everyone, and by the end of the holiday it genuinely felt like we were saying goodbye to friends rather than hotel staff.

The entertainment team deserve a huge thank you. They brought so much energy every day, organising games, activities and competitions that encouraged everyone to join in and have fun. They were fantastic at making people feel included, whether you wanted to take part in the activities or simply enjoy watching. In the evenings they continued to create a brilliant atmosphere with great entertainment that everyone looked forward to.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, but it’s the people who work there that make it truly special. Their kindness, enthusiasm and genuine care for guests made our holiday unforgettable. We’d happily return and would recommend Casa De Maris to anyone looking for a friendly and enjoyable place to stay.

Amazing!! Despite the Changes

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights from 3rd July, along with two of our friends, and had a fantastic holiday. This was my third stay here since 2022, and I would definitely return.

The biggest improvement since my previous visits has been the entertainment team. Jon and Ethan are an absolute credit to the hotel. They genuinely care about making sure everyone is enjoying themselves and spent so much time around the pool chatting to guests, getting to know people and creating a great atmosphere. They were also hilarious. We even bumped into Ethan on Bar Street one evening, and he made a point of coming over to find us and get us back to the hotel, which was a lovely gesture.

Another member of staff who deserves recognition is Emin, one of the waiters. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He was always making sure our drinks were topped up before our glasses were empty, regularly checked that everything was okay and took the time to have a genuine chat with us about our holiday and our lives back home. He was excellent at his job and really helped make our stay even more enjoyable.

Our cleaner, Sibel, was also fantastic. Every day she greeted us with a smile, left lovely towel designs on the bed and kept our room spotless. She was always cheerful, friendly and clearly worked incredibly hard. She definitely deserves recognition for everything she does.

The food was another highlight. There was plenty of choice at every meal, and the daytime snack bar was also very good. The new waffle station at dinner was amazing, with toppings including strawberries, banana, chocolate sauce and ice cream. The outdoor kitchen always had freshly grilled meat/fish, while inside there was a wide variety of dishes such as lasagne, shepherd’s pie, stews, alongside chips, rice and other sides. There is also a salad bar. If you’re planning an all-inclusive holiday where you’ll eat at the hotel most evenings, I think this hotel is an excellent choice.

Breakfast was fairly repetitive, but there were still plenty of options. Fresh omelettes and eggs are cooked to order, alongside continental options, cereals, a toastie machine, and hot food including scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans and sausages (although, understandably, not quite like English sausages!).

One thing I still really appreciate is the availability of bottled water. Bottles are always available around the hotel and your room’s minibar is restocked daily if you want it to be. This is a great feature and something I’m pleased hasn’t changed. The minibar itself now has a better variety of drinks, including an energy drink and peach iced tea alongside Coca-Cola, Sprite and Fanta.

Unfortunately, I also noticed several changes compared with my previous stays, and these weren’t reflected anywhere when booking.

The hotel has always been advertised as “All Inclusive Plus”, but it no longer feels like that. Previously, local drinks were available from one bar and premium drinks from the indoor bar, but many of those premium options have now disappeared. Drinks such as Baileys, Tequila Rose and Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum are no longer included. Efes is now only available on draught rather than in bottles, and all of the soft drinks are now served from draught dispensers instead of glass bottles.

I found the soft drinks from the pool bar tasted like cheaper alternatives rather than genuine Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite, and they were often flat. The indoor bar was noticeably better, particularly the Diet Coke, which actually tasted like Coca-Cola. I did raise this during my stay and was told the same products were served throughout the hotel. I know several guests, myself included, also mentioned this to the manager, but it didn’t really feel as though our feedback was taken on board.

Although the minibar now offers more drink choices, the cans are noticeably smaller than they used to be. Personally, I would happily pay a little more for my holiday if it meant returning to the previous standard, with bottled beers, glass bottles for soft drinks and the wider premium drinks selection. Those little touches really made the hotel feel like “All Inclusive Plus”.

Our arrival also wasn’t ideal. We were initially allocated a standard room on the first floor at the very end of the building. The balcony overlooked the security hut beside the main road, and the emergency exit door outside our room was broken and permanently open. Having stayed at this hotel before, we were quite disappointed with the room.

We spoke to reception on our first evening but were told to speak to the manager the following day. The manager then advised us to wait another day until a different room became available. In the end, we chose to pay an additional £45 for the remaining nine nights to upgrade to a side sea-view room, which was a huge improvement and well worth it.

I would just make future guests aware that the room categories appear to have changed. Previously, when I’d booked a standard room, I had always been allocated a side sea-view room. Now there are separate Standard, Side Sea View and Sea View categories, and it seems the standard rooms are now mainly the first-floor roadside rooms.

The only other negative experience was with one member of staff who manages the snack bar orders and outdoor seating. He has curly hair, sometimes wears a cap, but never wears a name badge, so unfortunately I don’t know his name. Unlike the rest of the staff, his attitude wasn’t particularly welcoming. On one occasion he rolled his eyes when guests were ordering food, and rather than simply saying “excuse me”, he kicked chairs people were sitting on so they would move their chair so he could get past. It stood out because the rest of the team were so friendly and accommodating, he made you feel like an inconvenience.

Overall, we had another fantastic holiday and I would absolutely return to this hotel. Its location is excellent, the majority of the staff go above and beyond, the food is very good and the improvements to the entertainment team have made an already enjoyable hotel even better.

My only disappointment is that the hotel no longer feels like the “All Inclusive Plus” experience it once was. It is still a very good all-inclusive hotel, but some of the premium touches that made it stand out have gradually disappeared. I genuinely believe bringing back the bottled drinks, premium spirits and previous drink quality would restore that premium feel. I would happily pay a little extra for those improvements because they really did make a noticeable difference.

Despite these criticisms, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and look forward to returning in the future!

P.S - We all had a Turkish Bath at the hotel, and it was fantastic! They also give you a small discount if you book as a group, which is even better 😋 The women who work here are lovely and very kind and friendly! Would recommend 😃

Honest review

I’ve been to this hotel numerous times but this year was a little bit disappointed. Staff are absolutely fantastic do over and above for the guests. They don’t stop all day.New animation teams are also very good. Main issue is the drink. Used to be premium brands, bottle beer and soft drinks were all in bottles but sadly no more. This used to be a premium hotel but seems be be lacking in somewhat from previous years.
