Not for me
When we booked and read reviews they were mainly all good. However I personally wouldn’t agree. The room we stayed in (room 8214) was the size of a postage stamp and my very small single bed was practically in the toilet. Normally bathroom doors are as you walk in the door but this room the door was in the actual bedroom. The shower bottom was very slippery luckily no injuries were incurred. Could hear the karaoke bar when trying to sleep that was with the balcony door closed and could also hear the TV in the next room. Had to pay for English TV, They charge £25 for the safe which you can actually remove it’s not secured to the wall?! Had to keep asking the maid for toilet roll, sheets and to clean the room. All she did was make the beds I ended up cleaning the sink and sides myself. The fridge consisted of two tiny bottles of water and that was it. No blackout curtains, not a problem for me but my mate was not impressed. We asked twice to change rooms and kept being told come back tomo at 12pm. We eventually gave up asking. Beds were uncomfortable and mine made a noise every time I moved! The hairdryer lead was so short you couldn’t even look in the mirror to use it. Room lighting was terrible too. Not great for make up ladies! Found the food repetitive and not very hot. Ready made cocktails, tasted like fruit juice. LOTS of shade around the pools. The two areas the sun stayed all day couldn’t get a look in as people must have been getting up early hours to get them. The staff were nice, no problems there and the animation team seemed very friendly. We didn’t watch any shows as went into town in the evenings but I definitely wouldn’t return to this hotel.
Loved it
Had the best time here with friends and met a lot of great people especially the entertainment team big thanks to them for making the holiday better and a big thank you to brogan from entertainment who we became friends with.I will be back again next year.😁
Nice stay
My wife and son loved staying here, Very friendly, the staff were very helpful. My son loved all the entertainment here and was never bored, one of the girls sommer was so kind and went above and beyond after my wife’s drink spilt down her dress, the whole stay was super and I can only recommend
Fantastic stay at Blue Bay Platinum
We had an amazing stay at Blue Bay Platinum Hotel in Marmaris, Turkey and would highly recommend it! The hotel was lovely, with great facilities, plenty of activities and fantastic entertainment throughout the day and evening. The entertainment team were absolutely outstanding, bringing so much energy, fun and friendliness to our holiday and making everyone feel included. A special mention to Sommer, who was incredible from start to finish. She made us feel so welcome, was always happy to help and made us feel like nothing was ever too much trouble. Her friendly, bubbly personality really stood out and made our holiday even more special. The entertainment team are a real credit to the hotel, and we would happily return! ❤️
Great Stay at Blue Bay Platinum
This hotel is awesome, I would highly recommend it. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean, spacious and well looked after by the maids, the food was delicious with plenty of choices, the pools are well kept and there is plenty of sunbeds, the entertainment was very enjoyable and the entertainment team go above and beyond to make you feel part of it and have plenty to keep the kids entertained. Sommer was special to us, she invited us to all the pool games, came for a chit chat and genuinely cared for the customers, nothing was too much for her, she was happy & friendly and easy to get along with. I would definitely go back and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
