Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had been given a triple room and there were issues straight away. The poor air conditioning was extremely poor, the wardrobe was broken (doors off rails) and shower was too small both myself and my partner could not fit in this. We had also requested a travel cot for my baby which we hadn’t been given ( I had requested this via email twice before arriving to which I got a positive response from one of my emails).
When we raised our problems with the reception staff there were no available other room for 2 days (total of 3 days after traveling without a shower and before we got a new room)
New room given on our 3rd day was much better however the air conditioning was still poor and the shower leaked.
The beds on a whole are not comfortable (understand this is preference) however myself and my partner are both going home with bad backs.
1st day of clean in new room (day 4) cleaners left brown residue all over the sink (where i needed to clean my babies bottles).
The pool was absolutely freezing!! The hotel was supposed to have a baby pool but this was empty and in shade 100% of the day so even if this was full there was mo way this could have been slightly warmer. The main pool had no chlorine in it and had a lot of missing tiles and residue at the bottom of the pool. The main pool only really got sunlight 08.00am-11.00am then 13.30pm-17.00pm. The pool on the photos of the hotel is also not correct- instead of the modern photos and nice sun loungers there is a tacky mural going around the walls and the sun lounger cushions smelt. We have a friend from Marmaris who also told us not to let our baby ingest any of the water or be in the water for too long due to the hotel having a reputation of being unclean (this was only told to us as we got there).
Breakfast was diabolical- we got offered boiled eggs, spicy sausage, fruit, bread, chips and chicken nuggets. We never had breakfast in the hotel after the 1st morning
We requested late check out the day before as instructed as we had a night flight on departure- we then had the luxury offer of paying 750TL (£13.50) per hour to have the room.
On a positive, the staff are really nice and helped us where they could. Additionally, hotel was also situated around the corner from the main strip and central to everything you would need.
Unfortunately I do think this hotels photos are not a true representation of the quality or presentation of its facilities or decor. Personally, apart from the external hotel design and the hotel room decor and following on from my experience, this hotel should be a two star hotel, not three.
The hotel was great. It was clean and the breakfast was good. The receptionist on the day I had no water was fab. Got me a shower at their sister hotel and had it fixed within an hour. I’m just sorry I didn’t get her name. The cleaning was excellent too. The service at their private beach was also good and not pushy. I had a really fab holiday here.
Great hotel clean and tidy.staff very friendly helpful room service great
Location is great and so close to the strip and beach.
Atmosphere is very quiet nothing going on in the hotel itself but very close to all bars and restaurants if thats what you want .
Rooms are absolutely tiny with the separate toilet and shower actually in the room. So there is no privacy for using the toilet or shower.
This is definitely a budget hotel but there are a lot better hotels close by that are better for a budget.
Cleanliness the hotel itself is spotless .outside the pool area and seating area is disgusting. The pool had some sort of worm like creature all around the steps of the pool which is probably why the pool was always empty. Plenty of sun beds as people didn't appear to use that area which I can only put down to it being so dirty.
We had room 507 overlooking the sea which was beautiful and very quiet considering how close to the bars the hotel is.
Breakfast was very disappointing. Eggs where always so cold. Not much choice. Very limited options for fruit.
Went to the beach attached to the hotel. Requested an umbrella which we could see they had to be told we aren't able to have one and to get one another day. So ended up having to pay to use another beach by buying drinks to stay there.
I stayed in both the Aurasia beach & deluxe hotel. Both hotels provided excellent service and was hospitable. Housekeeping staff were friendly and ensured of replenishment of towels, slippers etc. Breakfast was a choice of salads, eggs, pancakes, clean and healthy food with a choice of hot and cold beverages. The hotel’s staff overall were very pleasant, especially Simay reception staff, who was very helpful, kind and overall a great representation of the Aurasia Deluxe hotel front of house team. Great experience & would return.
