The hotel is located on a beach front property in Siteler/Marmaris. It is just 3 km from the centre, with the wide variety of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shopping opportunities it has to offer. The journey there takes 10 minutes by bus.
The hotel offers 51 rooms in total including one luxurious suite room and also features a splendid botanical garden. The reception has a luxurious lobby with comfortable seating areas provided and a television. It is air-conditioned and has a safe, currency exchange facility, cloakroom and lift access. The hotel also includes a restaurant, a café and a bar in the garden.
Rooms offer spectacular views of both the garden and the sea, a mixture of vibrant green and blue eye candy. Room size varies between 33 and 35 m². All rooms come with a telephone, a hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV with 17 international channels (German, English, French, Russian, Turkish, Italian channels), double bed and a safe deposit box. A minibar can be rented for the room from the reception (subject to a deposit). A pleasant en suite bathroom with bath and shower also features.
The hotel has a swimming pool with a children's pool, poolside snack bar, sun loungers and parasols. A variety of drinks are also served on the beach.
Lunch and dinner are available either à la carte or from a set menu.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed here on our last day in Turkey. Great view from our balcony. Good spacious room(for 2) with settee and separate bedroom on another level. Shower was on a higher level and i didn't think it would suit somebody with poor mobility. This is the reason for 4 score. Staff helpful and welcoming but as it was the end of Ramadan we may have been regaled with sweets and hand wash as part of the celebrations. Nice food and a decent bar with great views. Good pool. Handy for buses with stop outside.
Three-star hotel on the first line. The sea is wonderful. The staff is friendly. The food was tasty, but the choice is not great, the hotel is suitable for vegetarians (not much meat :) ) Of the minuses - a weak Internet and connection is only in the lobby. Everything else was excellent. We had a good rest.
Fod was too spicy and poor. Sometimes the dinner contained meals from previous days tok. Rooms are big but old. Bathroom is awful and if you use stronger shower it will flood. No ventilation too, so it smelled sometimes. Air condition worked properly till our last day. Fridge needs to be paid. Also, cleaning of the room was very basic, only empting the trash bins and adding toilet paper. You must ask for clean towels additionaly.
It takes a lot for me to write a bad review as I know the implications it can have on a business but what I experienced here was unforgivable and would not want anyone else to go through the same as I did.
I could go into great detail about what happened but all IL say is avoid this place at all costs, unless you like being denied a cup of tea at 9.33am and again later the same day, having to ask reception for towels, toilet roll, soap and a wifi connection that is non existent in any room, and paying extra for a slice of toast (yes these are just a few things that genuinely happened in my short 5 night stay). Oh and not to mention having your breakfast tipped into a rubbish plate half way through eating it as you get up to refill your cup of tea. The facilities here especially the room, all belong in the 80s which is probably when they were built. A showerhead that leaked and toilet seat that didn't fully open not to mention the bath which was genuinely one of the most dangerous bathtubs iv ever washed in.
On the plus side most of the people that work there (except for the waiter with the biggest chip iv ever seen on a human shoulder) especially the housekeepers were very nice genuine people and its located directly on the beach.
However the final straw and worst of all for me is coming home with an allergic reaction and a rash all over my body from the bedsheets is the reality I am dealing with right now, something I'm taking strong medication for too. I wish this hotel was in the UK and I could take them to court to hold them responsible for what has happened and how I was treated but as they are in turkey they will get away with it and carry on charging their paying guests "extra" as they like to say.
Just avoid this place like the plague.
Amos hotel is an excellent value for money. The hotel is quiet, with noise on the waterfront :) The hotel has its own beach, which is a big advantage for Marmaris. The food is delicious, and we didn't go hungry. We will definitely come back :)
