Refurbished in 2014, the hotel offers great leisure and entertainment facilities, making it an ideal holiday choice. It comprises a total of 98 rooms. Vela Hotel operates in Bed & Breakfast concept. Split Air Conditioning is extra of charge and it is 5 pounds or 7 Euros per day.Guests can wine and dine in the pool bar(open 10.00-02.00) and enjoy the pool in the daytime with reasonable prices. The hotel also features a Lobby bar(operates certain hours). For those arriving by car a hotel car park is available. All rooms feature an en suite bathroom and a balcony. Leisure facilities available include an outdoor pool with separate children's pool Sun lounges and parasols can be hired at the nearby sandy and pebble beach.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in
We stayed for 1 week at the hotel. The rooms are very basic with 1 double and 1 single bed. Bedding had holes in, towels were stained, floor was dirty, bathroom was stained and dirty, bins not emptied
Never again
This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. Please do not waste your money. Pool area not fit for purpose, not for those with weak stomach smells and dirty rooms falling apart and dirty. Workers too busy on their phones, its not family friendly no WiFi, only works at pool, staff cannot answer your questions and not bothered as they have your money and do not care. Cleaner did her best with what she had, one rag to clean the hotel and towels and bedding with holes. So please save your money.

The worst hotel we have been too......we love Ichmeler and always stay on the hotels on the beach front. They were all fully booked so we had to choose this one. It ruined our holiday, dirty, noisy, food terrible......be warned !!!!
Disgusting vile shitehole
This hotel is a manky shitehole I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel, the place needs demolished, me and my partner ended up coughing up blood with the dodgy air conditioning, food was disgusting, We watch them taking the sun loungers out the skip 🤦♀️ Avoid and save yourselves he stress and money
Don’t go
I can’t believe this is still open ? I heard it was shut ? It needs shutting down ! The staff were lovely last year but the hotel is run down . I would hate to think anyone had paid to stay all inclusive. I’m back in icmelar this week and I won’t be visiting ! I had to buy cleaning equipment from the shop the maids had none !
