Sahin Palace

We stayed at Sahin Palace from July 31st until August 14th. We arrived at about 3am and we were not by Russel who warmly welcomed us and offered us a much needed cold drink before showing us to our room. Our room was spacious and clean with a big wardrobe with pleny of hangers, plenty of drawers, fridge, clean towels etc etc. Rooms were cleaned and given fresh towels every day by lovely cleaners who always made the effort to say hello. In General all of the staff were lovely and always made you feel welcome. Russel was an absolute gentleman and is an absolute credit to the apartments. The pool and area was nice but peiple did put towels down really early - this obviously depends on who is staying in the apartments at the time, but we found a couple of large groups always had their towels out early getting the same beds every day. Saying that, we did always manage to get a sunbed apart from one day. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was always lovely with plenty of choice on the menu. Id highly recommend the sweet chilli chicken and my son loved the junior steak, which was cooked exactly how he asked for it. Our room was over looking the main road facing onto De ja vu bar, this wasn't a problem until the music started at night. We were normally not in our room until later on on a night time as we were out and about in bars and restaurants, but there was a couple of nights that we were really tired and wanted to go to bed at about 11pm, especially one night when we had to be up early for a trip the following morning. Well this did not happen as all we could hear was the music from de ja vu. It was so so loud until about 12.23/12.45 when they turned the music off. There was absolutely no way you could sleep until after that. As I say, on the nights we were out until after that time it was absolutely fine as it did get turned off at about half past midnight. So a rip would be to request a pool facing room and avoid the rooms facing de ja vu. The apartments are about a 10 min walk from the main shops and restaurants and just a little further to the beach which is about 20mins away. Sshin Palace is surro6by the most amazing vibes of the mountains. Infact Icmeler is just absolutely stunning in general. The price of things has definitely gone up in Icmeler but plenty of restaurants have good value set menus on offer. The local bus service is very easy to use and costs 60tl which is just under £1 and you can practically get on and off wherever you like for that price. The Sahin Palace offers a money exchange service and so does the little shop at the front of the apartments on the main street, both offered a good rate.

Brilliant hotel we had a fabulous time, from day one to 11th day always made to feel welcome. All the staff were amazing but a special shout out goes to Russel who went that bit extra to make sure you were okay. Rooms are cleaned everyday to a high standard and are very spacious, would I return to this hotel yes definitely.
