Location - Perfect, amazing views, close to the beach and town Atmosphere - poor, very rare you will see smile on staff faces or hear "good morning", most of the staff moody, hardly can speak English. Rooms - poor to average, aircon terrible, not running when you will seat on the balcony because you can't close the door from outside. Bed comfy and big - different story about cleanness. Value - Very expensive, Expecting much more for the price. Cleanliness - Poor. Bed mattress and protector badly stained. All floor probably never been mopped. Even beach towels are stained. Noise level - Good. Service - Average. Lobby bar always short of staff the same as pool bar (moody staff). BE AWARE ! - one of hotel management staff forcing the guest to write a good review on Google or Tripadvisor, Sometimes she is writing for them asking only to send the review. Amenities - Be careful when leaving the lobby bar through the sliding doors. It is easy to trip over the threshold. Food - boring, not much choice comparing to other 5 stars hotels. COLD ! Only boiled rice and chips were warm enough. Maintenance - poor. Loose toilet seat, mould on the ceiling above shower, cracked tiles, walls in bedroom stained. The hotel is not worth to have 5 stars. Its best time is gone long time ago. Maximum 3 stars.
We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this resort. Although the transfer from the airport is relatively long, it was absolutely worth it. The views are simply breathtaking and were one of the highlights of our holiday.
The hotel has so much charm and character. It isn’t a modern resort, but that’s exactly what makes it special. It’s also not too large, so it’s easy to get around without feeling exhausted by the end of the day. The beach is beautiful, and we loved taking evening strolls along the seafront with the nearby markets open.
The staff were exceptional and really made our stay memorable. A special thank you to Ibrahim, Katarina, and Yakup (apologies if I’ve misspelled his name). They were always warm, welcoming and attentive, and they were especially kind and friendly with our children, which we really appreciated.
The drinks and cocktails at the bar were fantastic, and our children loved trying the mocktails too! The only small suggestion I would make is regarding the food. We enjoyed the meals, particularly dinner, and appreciated experiencing traditional Turkish cuisine. However, as parents, we found there were fewer options that appealed to our children. It would be wonderful if the resort could include a few more contemporary, child-friendly choices alongside the traditional dishes. We also noticed that drinks occasionally varied depending on who prepared them, but this was only a minor point.
Overall, we had a truly memorable holiday. The stunning views, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful beach and the kindness of the staff made our stay very special. We will miss waking up to that incredible view the most, and we hope to return one day.
Family holidays with 3 teenagers and it was simply fantastic. Some of the staff were outstanding specially in the bars, restaurants and porters. There is always something to eat in the buffer and we always chose the grill selection. Breakfast was great too. Plenty of water and coffee machines wrapping. We ended up running every morning at 6am on the promenade and have a dip the sea, just heaven. It is not to wild at night so our boys could go out and party and felt safe. We did a day trip tour with Orca to Turtle beach and for the price was perfect and great fun. We would recommend this area and Marti but please chill about a few things, enjoy what is wonderful and appreciate the time. I can’t really understand some of the ridiculous negative reviews posted here.
Had a lovely week at Marti. Lots of atmosphere but not crowded. Mix of nationalities, very friendly staff. Beautiful views and location - almost doesn’t look real in the photos! Had a couple of amazing massages in the Spa. Great value and service. Highly recommend. Turkish bath foam massage was wonderful. Loved the location - close to shops and restaurants but nice and quiet. Try the cocktails from Casanova Bar. Would definitely come back.
The location is great just far enough away from town but close enough to walk in. The beach is right outside the rear of the hotel but it’s not sandy it’s shingle and stone. The staff are very friendly and nice and they always try to help however unfortunately not many have good English. The bar staff are always working very hard and are really good but unfortunately they did need more help at times. The hotel itself is very good for the price and probably one of the best in the area. The thing that lets it down is the food…. Having been to turkey on many holidays I understand that the food can be a little bit different but that’s not the problem it’s always the same from the grill here and the food doesn’t really change much it’s also cold sometimes so be aware when booking this hotel you may eat out more than once.
