Marbas Select Beach

We recently returned from the Marbas Select Beach Hotel after a 7 day family holiday. We had an amazing time there, very friendly staff , yes it is a bit dated and the food can become a bit monotonous but it is high quality and for the price we paid, we could easily afford to eat out as an alternative. Soft drinks, juices, coffee etc were unlimited and free, so was lager, gin and vodka. The safe cost £2 per night but hotel wifi was free. Rooms were cleaned daily and bedding and towels were also changed daily I would highly recommend Marbas hotel but be realistic, its fairly cheap but still enjoyable and has a pool and small strip of private beach with sun loungers. If you want to pay £1600 per person , per night and thats in october then there are plenty of 5 star luxury hotels , our family trip of 3 for 7 nights was an absolute bargain. I would rate it as a solid 3 stars and Icmeler is so much cheaper than marmaris and is a georgeous area. Thank you Marbas for a wonderful time.

Arrived on 14/9:2026 just before midnight due to a flight delay, on arrival the night porter asked if we would like some soup, as we were really hungry we accepted. It was hot and tasty. When I booked the holiday I asked TUI if there was a lift as being in my. 70’s stairs can be a bit of a challenge. We were allocated rooms on the 5th floor and the lift only went to the 4th floor. Admittedly one of the young lads helped with our suitcases. The room was really dated. Furniture was broken, fridge and air conditioning didn’t work. For the first time ever I never unpacked as I decided I wasn’t staying in that room. The next morning we spoke to Arda on reception who said he could move us but not until the next day so we spent 2 nights in a really hot attic room. We were allocated rooms on the 4th floor the next morning and although they were bigger the condition wasn’t much better. The fridge and the air conditioner worked though. The views are to die for and it’s right on the beach, which is very crowded and umbrellas and beds in poor condition. It was also filthy so once again I complained. Staff were sent out to immediately start cleaning the beach. The food is limited and it caters for the Turkish people which is fine we were in Turkey but for me I was sick of eating Chicken or eggs. The ice creams at 3pm were a nice treat. The table cloths in the restaurant are dirty and not changed just brushed down. The staff are lovely but look so bored most of the time. Would I stay here again…. No Would I recommend it ……. No But each to their own. In my opinion it needs a really good refurbishment and it could be spectacular. At the minute it is tired and run down

IGORE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS. The hotel is pleasant , clean but outdated , food was plentiful throughout the day, alcohol was served from 10 am onwards, they do cocktails if you ask , the waiters and waitresses were lovely, beware of bob the english hotel rep, he will push and push you into buying trips to the spa and water park , he overcharges and says you get a good deal, go online or use the other rep . Beware of the grape selling guy on the beaches, he says he's giving you change back when he takes money out of your wallet, he took a £20 note out of my son's pretending to put back change in it. Im actually ashamed to be british as the other british tourists treated the staff like crap and were obnoxiously loud and rude. Its a beautiful place to stay, the air con works and the fridge works only when you put the key card in the slot , it turns the electricity on in the room so if your out all day the stuff in the fridge will be warm.
