Idas hotel is located in the center of Icmeler just 350 mt. far from the beach and 10 km to Marmaris but as much close to all entertainment and shopping areas in Icmeler Region which has known as Aegean Riviera by 5 minutes walk. Transportation is rather easy may find a dolmus (shuttle) in each 10 minutes or taxi right away at Hotels gate, take less than 15 min. to reach the heart of Marmaris. Idas Hotel is compact modern building, fully renovated in 2015 adobted to 4 stars quality with 5 floors has an adult & children section swimming pool on a large terrace at front side including a cozy pool bar recently furnished. Indoor & outdoor restaurants are even situated nearby the swimming pool big enough to provide the comfort of our guests at meal times. Holiday far from troubles in splendid Icmeler with amazing views and beaches. A long term remarkable memories to refer your buddies.
Been here three weeks now not one bad thing I could say from the hotel to the bar staff, cleaners but most of all the entertainment they go out there way to make your holiday an experience love all and every one of then treat you like family, I highly recommend this place, I will be back next year...
This holiday was so much fun, the entertainment team keep everyone occupied day and night. Ozzy and Jimmy were a great laugh, if you’re thinking of booking you won’t be disappointed. We booked this through Jet 2 and got a great deal, for the money really can’t fault the hotel at all.
So for a start, it has been the best holiday by far that I've ever ever ever had, purely due to Jimmy Ozzy, Wanda, Sophia and loki. I couldn't recommend idas club more than anything in the world. The food is fantastic, the entertainment is the best of any hotel I've ever been too! My niece and nephew have had the best time but be prepared Jimmy never loses😂😂
End of the day the entertainment is by far the best you'll ever go to and I could not recommend any hotel more than this one.
Not a bad place to stay as long as you are not a gay couple..bloody rude lady manager who came to us at the pool whilst with out little girls to tell us not to be affectionate as its just weird!! This was done in front of everyone at the pool. Now I am aware we are in a different country who have different views..so do not advertise your hotel as being 'gay friendly'!! Gayers stay away
We stayed at Idas Hotel for 12 nights in early May and had a mixed experience. There are some real strengths here, but also some areas that need attention.
Staff – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Most of the staff were friendly, hardworking and efficient, and clearly put a lot of effort into looking after guests. There were one or two exceptions, including a particularly unfriendly barman (whose attitude changed overnight following complaints - albeit in a way that felt somewhat forced and sarcastic) and reception, where issues were acknowledged but not always resolved.
Entertainment – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loki, Jimmy and Ozzy deserve special mention. They're friendly, funny and full of energy, genuinely seem to enjoy what they do and really help create a great atmosphere. Between comedy shows, quizzes, bingo, competitions, laser shows and the ever-popular barman show, there was plenty going on each evening.
Location – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is excellent, with plenty of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants nearby, and the beach only around a 10-minute walk away.
Facilities – ⭐⭐⭐ The rooms are modern, comfortable and a good size, with decent balconies and a useful "Do Not Disturb" light system (rather than the door tags that go walkies). However, storage space is limited and the shower was disappointing throughout our stay, with inconsistent pressure and water that was usually only lukewarm.
Around the hotel there were also some large puddles near the entrances and toilets, creating unnecessary slip hazards. Wi-Fi was generally good but unreliable at times.
One positive we only discovered late in the holiday was that the Relax Pool Bar stays open after the all-inclusive service ends. It's a nice place for a final drink, and the prices are reasonable.
Food – ⭐⭐ The food started brilliantly - warm, tasty and with plenty of choice. Unfortunately, after a few days we realised the menu was almost identical every day, and the quality gradually declined. Meat became noticeably poorer, food was often cold, and we frequently saw meals transported uncovered from Idas Club before sitting waiting to be served.
We ended up eating out far more than planned simply for some variety. Interestingly, the final couple of days saw an improvement, with warmer food and a few new dishes.
Several guests we spoke to, including long-time returning visitors, shared the same concerns and said they were questioning whether they would return.
Overall, Idas Hotel has a fantastic team, great entertainment and a very good location. However, food is a huge part of an all-inclusive holiday, and it's currently letting the hotel down. I genuinely hope management addresses this, because it risks overshadowing everything the staff work so hard to deliver.
