Another Great stay
This was our second visit to the Grand Aquarium in icemeler for two weeks, and once again we had an amazing time. Although some of the bar staff have changed since our last visit, it certainly hasn't affected the experience at all.
A special mention goes to Kamil, Ben, Mike,Joseph and Emily, who are absolutely fantastic in the bar. They always take the time to stop and chat, have a laugh and make everyone feel welcome. Their friendly personalities and great sense of humour really add to the atmosphere.
People move on in every workplace, but don't ever let that put you off visiting. The team here continues to do a brilliant job. Cedric, Gee Gee, Bucky and the girls also work incredibly hard to keep the fun going and make sure everyone has a great holiday.
The entertainment, atmosphere and service are as good as ever, and the fun never stops! We would definitely come back again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Grand Aquarium to anyone looking for a fantastic stay.

Another great holiday
Another year another great holiday big thanks to kamil ben and mike who worked so hard to make everyone’s holiday enjoyable service in the restaurant and bar was excellent they are all new this year and were great big thanks as always to sally who is always on hand to help. Cleaning staff are brilliant room cleaned every day. Mr hans around the pool is a good man and very helpful
Great family holiday
Second time visiting Grand Aquarium. It's such a lovely hotel and the staff especially the entertainment team make this hotel, they are so friendly and good fun. We will definitely return again 🥰
A very nice stay
We’re currently waiting to be picked up for our transfer home - always the worst part of the holiday.
We would definitely say here again.
2 adults & 2 teenagers - we had a one bedroom apartment. It was a bit tight but manageable. You need to pay for the safe (£10 per week) and air conditioning (£35 for one or £55 for two for the week) separately.
The food and drink was quite nice and very reasonably priced. £5 for a full English breakfast.
The pool area was clean and organised. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas. It has been quiet and finding a sunbed has not been an issue.
It’s quite far out from the centre. About a 20 minute walk. We hired a 4 seater golf cart for £20 per day. Made getting around easy.
We didn’t really take part in any of the hotel entertainment but there was things on offer during the day and the evening. Not as much during the day as I’ve seen at other hotels but this was fine by us.
The overall atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The manager made sure we had everything we needed for comfort and the rest of the staff were friendly, attentive and efficient.
There are a good few cats at the hotel. They are well taken care of and friendly.
My only real negative was the beds. They are extremely hard. The pillows are also hard. The manager give me a new pillow which was definitely softer but still very firm.

2 week holiday at Grand Aquarium
Just home from another amazing 2 weeks in grand aquarium, travelled with family & cant fault this place at all. The entertainment staff are worth their weight in gold and always make the holiday for my kids however all the staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly. We were greeted with a warm welcome & had a lovely send off where everyone made sure to say goodbye before we set off home, very touching! The place is very clean. We will definitely return for a third time.
