Very good experience here, good entertainment and good people.
Faros location is one of the best in Turkey, almost on the beach,it has a very relaxed feeling very tranquil, but also 5 minutes in either direction to busy shops bars and numerous restaurants,in the hotel itself its laid back pool area so quiet and peaceful, pool bar nice in the day no noise !!! Zero, staff are the most friendly helpful ever, the rooms are a little tired in need of TLC but clean and perfect as only sleeping in them, good value for money compared to many others in the area, there are some areas around the pool which could benifit from a pressure wash, and tidy up, the small pool needs deep clean, there are ample sunbeds, at anytime of day as well as cabanas to use, which again there was always one or two available most times of the day, the Spa facility is a great asset and worth using the staff are so professional Antonio who deals with the bookings and buisness is very nice guy,not too pushy, or pressuring, which can be annoying if on holiday, the Spa itself is such a nice atmosphere tranquil, and the staff are professional Thai trained masseuses, who are extremely knowledgeable and provide a great service,I came out feeling great, Antonio also went beyond his duty, helping recover my daughters earpod which was left on our departure, he located organised and had it sent to my house via Scottish guests from near my town, what can I say thank you Antoino,5 star service, food is good, its like most hotels after 14 nights it can be repetative, but lots of places to eat out for change, couple of times its not too expensive to do,all in we had a great holiday in a great location and are now looking to return either September or next year as my wife could not get over the no queing for meals or table, absolutely no problem with sunbeds at pool or on the beach you cant beat that,
A fantastic 11 nights at Faros premium beach was had in July 2026 and it was a great value for money. The location is excellent. The atmosphere is brilliant. The rooms were clean and spacious, the maids did a great job changing beddings and towels daily and were very polite. The hotel is adult only so have a really relaxed vibe about it. At midnight the all inclusive stops as does the noise levels. It’s just great! There’s a 24 hour supermarket right across the road if you need anything but there’s also one on site. The amenities on site were brilliant. The spa really stuck out to me. Antonio at the spa is one of the nicest and most genuine people you could ever meet! When I said I hadn’t been to the spa, he welcomed myself and husband in for a tour. During the tour he told us about what was on offer and together we decided on a plan for myself and husband. I was so thankful to Antonio for taking time of his day to explain everything and he got it just right because our spa treatments where the highlight of our holiday. Antonio has a great wealth of knowledge in this area.
The pool attendant, Mayra and Oscan were fantastic around the pool. They were all so accommodating . I loved hearing about their lives and telling them snippets of mine! Ismail from the restaurant needs to be mentioned, this young lad is going places and it was lovely to see him being trained in the bar too! WiFi - great connection in All areas of hotel and on the beach! All in all, this was a great holiday! If you are going to the hotel, do look for Antonio on your first day and get your Turkish bath booked, you will not be disappointed! Because of the great experience I had with staff, I plan to return in 2027 for sure - Chris and Colleen Grieves
We spent a wonderful week at Faros celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with direct access to a private beach that has plenty of sunbeds. We booked two sea-view rooms, and the views were absolutely stunning.
The hotel does, however, need some TLC. While it's still a lovely place to stay, certain areas are looking quite tired and would benefit from refurbishment.
Rooms Our rooms were spacious, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, and we had a bath with an overhead shower (although there wasn't a plug for the bath). The housekeeping team did an excellent job, cleaning the rooms daily. The minibar was replenished every day with still and sparkling water, and there was also a kettle with tea and coffee provided.
Restaurant The food was good, with plenty of choice at every meal. We did notice a little "recycling" of dishes. For example, burgers served at lunch reappeared at dinner labelled as "meatballs in sauce"—although they were clearly the leftover burgers from lunchtime. One evening was Turkish-themed, with a great selection of traditional dishes, and Turkish baklava was served to each table, which was a lovely touch. The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard and were always attentive and friendly.
There's also a small patisserie just off reception serving cakes, sweet treats and ice cream throughout the day.
Pool & Beach We spent most of our time around the pool. Pool towels are available from the spa, and there were always plenty of sunbeds and shaded cabanas available—thankfully no early morning sunbed wars!
A special mention goes to the pool attendant, Nihalt (I hope I've got his name right), who worked tirelessly every day arranging sunbeds, cushions and parasols. Meyra, who looked after guests at the bar was absolutely lovely—always smiling, friendly and happy to help.
We only visited the beach for a quick swim, but once again the staff were incredibly helpful in finding us sunbeds and cushions. I'd definitely recommend bringing sea shoes, as it's quite pebbly when entering the sea.
Entertainment & Evenings Helen and Honey were fantastic members of the entertainment team. They regularly checked everyone was enjoying themselves and invited guests to join in activities without ever being pushy. We particularly enjoyed the bingo, the Turkish Night with belly dancing, and on our final evening we were treated to a performance by The Drifters.
The bar staff also worked incredibly hard. A special shout-out goes to Yagmur, who was always attentive, friendly and genuinely lovely. The drinks were good, with a nice selection of cocktails. The wine was perfectly drinkable—although I have to admit it tasted even better with a splash of lemonade!
Reception & Guest Services Everyone we dealt with at reception was helpful and welcoming. Guest Services kindly arranged for a fruit platter and a bottle of wine to be delivered to our daughter's room for her 21st birthday, which was a thoughtful gesture.
The only issue we encountered was arranging a late checkout. Each time we asked, we seemed to receive different information—one person would say it was available, only for someone else to say it wasn't. Thankfully, we eventually managed to arrange it. We paid £40 to keep our room until 4pm, with the option of paying £60 to stay until 6pm.
Other Facilities The hotel also has an on-site spa, tattoo parlour, barber and small shop. We met Antonio from the spa on our first day. He was very friendly and informative, although the sales approach could feel a little intense at times.
We also heard from several guests that the barber could be quite misleading with pricing. While treatments were initially quoted at one price, extra services were often added without being made entirely clear. One guest, for example, agreed to pay £25 for a haircut but was later presented with a bill for £95.
Overall What truly makes this hotel is its staff. From the housekeeping team to the chefs, waiters, waitresses and bar staff, everyone works incredibly hard and always has a smile on their face. Their friendliness and dedication really made our holiday.
With some much-needed refurbishment, I genuinely believe Faros could return to true five-star standards. At the moment, however, I'd rate the hotel around 3 out of 5 stars based on the condition of the facilities. Despite that, we had a lovely holiday and made some wonderful memories celebrating our daughter's special birthday.
Staff very friendly, great atmosphere. The facilities in the hotel are very good. Exactly as shown online.
