This charming establishment is situated on the Mediterranean southwest coast of Turkey. Located in the city centre of Icmeler, the beach is just a 5-minute walk. Landed at dalaman airport on the Saturday evening, transfer was 2 hours as we ended up dropping everyone off to their respective hotels in Marmaris before driving to Icmeler…ours being the last stop. No apparent aircon on the bus.. we were given an attic room, up 3 flights of spiral staircase which were in my opinion a bit dangerous. Room was ‘ok’, it was clean to be fair but very tired. Bedsheets didn’t actually fit the bed and towels were pretty threadbare. Only given one toilet roll so bring your own! The toilet in the bathroom absolutely stank when you used it. It does need sorting out I feel and there was no fan or proper window in the bathroom which made it worse. Apartment grounds were nice, again very clean. Pools were freezing!! It was quiet so we had no problem getting sunloungers. Some of the staff were friendly and chatty, some not so much. We had to use a prepayment card to be able to purchase food/drinks on site which was a bit of a pain at times. I really don’t know why they insist on this. My daughter was happy with the milkshakes they made. We had breakfast there sometimes which was ok, didn’t eat there otherwise. Never got told any check out times or when we were due to be picked up. TUI rep was useless, no engagement from him at all. When we checked out at 10 we weren’t offered anywhere to shower, we weren’t being picked up until 4.30pm so was a bit of a pain. Icemeler is a nice resort, quite pretty with a nice beach and the sea was lovely. I wouldn’t return though as it’s quite a tacky place, all the shops sell the same knock off gear and the restaurants offer pretty much the same food in each, chips with everything!

I booked 7days at babadan apartments in icmeler with 3 of my friends. We had 2 rooms both single bed deluxe studio rooms. We arrived there at 2am. 2 of us were in room 55 and the other 2 in room 63. Room 63 only had 2 other rooms in the block. We climbed up 5 flights of stairs with the smell of white spirits which stayed for the whole week the smell! We opened the door to a sofa bed and a double bed!! I went back down and they said they will swap rooms tomorrow morning but it will be in a normal room. That never happened. We had to pay £42 for the aircon and we weren't shown how to use it. The rooms got cleaned every other day! The staff were clueless and most didn't speak good English. We ate breakfast there once and the full English was like for a child! I also bought a beer which was 1year out of date and they said its fine it's this year's beer! When it clearly said 2024 on the bottle. I wouldn't recommend staying here again tbh
Everything about this place is genuinely lovely – the setting, staff, and facilities couldn’t be better. Its a genuine three star self catering Tui exclusive. I go down early, usually by 6am, to enjoy the quiet and watch the day wake up. Love it.
What spoils it slightly is the towel game. Even before 6am, a surprising number of sunbeds are already “occupied” — not by people, but by towels that were clearly dropped off the night before or placed by someone sneaking down in the small hours before heading straight back to bed.
It creates a strange sense of entitlement: to your face, everyone is polite and friendly, but the silent pre-dawn towel dash tells another story. It doesn’t ruin the holiday, but it does make you feel like you’re competing in the “Towel Championships” rather than simply enjoying the sunshine.
An absolute little gem of a place. We arrived the day day it opened. The staff couldn't of been more welcoming. A big shout out to Simon and the rest of the team for making it special. The food and drink on par with anywhere in Icmeler. The only bug was having to top up a pre payment card to purchase anything from the bar/restaurant/minimarket. All in all a fantastic stay thank you babadan see you soon. Lots of love Caroline and Scotty x
