All Tropical Suites by Sertil Suites, leaning on the slope of the hill above Oludeniz beach, offer a magnificent view of the mountains and most of them an endless view of the sea. The magnificent panorama combines with the modern aesthetics of the interior and exterior spaces. 2,5 km to the world famous Oludeniz beach and 13 km to the port of Fethiye. The Hisaronu shopping and entertainment centre is only a 15 minute walk away. All our rooms have split air conditioning, towels, slippers, hair dryer, LCD TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Avoid this hotel, don’t even give it a chance like we did! After reading the reviews we still thought we’d give it a go, although the room was beautiful with an amazing view that is all this hotel has. The staff were rude and intimidating, sitting in groups outside our apartment block they looked at you as if you shouldn’t be there, they never spoke to us once, I felt uneasy and unsafe. The breakfast room was dark with no staff around, the juice machine was broken and the food was inedible, they do not cater for the English. The grounds were untidy and the pool water was cloudy, never saw anyone treating it. We had no hot water for the first 3 days with a different excuse each time we complained, in the end we found a new hotel and checked out. Please don’t ruin your holiday.
Do not book this hotel if I could give a minus review I would. Rooms are dirty and mouldy and not serviced during stay Pool is green (not the colour it should be) Food is monotonous and mostly inedible Human Hairs found in food ! Some electrics are questionable and dangerous Safety rails on stairs missing and dangerous Love Holidays shoukdbe ashamed sending guests here and as soon as we get home we will lodge a formal complaint as nothing done to move us to alternative accommodation and no flights home available
Total waste of money and holiday time
Arrived at 3 30am on Sunday 20th September at 3 30am to the reception in darkness at 1st it was just sheer panic as I was a solo traveller. I walked along to another hotel where I explained the situation,he then went along to the hotel to see if he could find anyone which he didn't. He then phoned on numerous occasions to try and get a hold of someone which again he couldn't,thankfully he let me sit in their reception. Finally at 7 30am someone appeared, not 1 bit interested when I complained. Things went from bad to worse as this hotel is beyond awful, rooms are filthy my stay was 10 nights and my bed wasn't changed once. It was that bad I took myself to another hotel to get away from it. There was also no hot water the whole time I was there and when I addressed it I got fobbed off with excuses. Please please don't book this place.
Awful experience, pool was green, food inedible, no drinks or music at the pool bar, room developed a bad leak in the roof, no hot water for 2 weeks nothing done about it, transfer to village was withdrawn, room key wouldnt work on 3 occasions the list goes on Please stay away
Avoid 'TROPICAL DELUXE' like the plague! If I could give negative stars, I would. The location is fine, although to get to the beach side of Oludeniz, you need to get a taxi as it's a dual carriageway road with no crossings, lots of sections with no pavement, and largely unlit (and the drivers are absolute maniacs - one taxi took us the wrong way around a roundabout as a shortcut!). However the accommodation itself, and the staff, are shocking!! We booked in good faith based on the good TripAdvisor average rating, but soon realised that the rating is skewed as the reviews for Tropical Deluxe seem to have been merged with the neighbouring hotel's reviews. Tropical Deluxe is in a state of severe disrepair, and looks to have been this way for years given its cracked and crumbling buildings and level of dirt and dust in general, along with rubbish and spare furniture abandoned at random intervals on the grounds. On our nighttime arrival to our ground-floor room, the patio door was wide open and couldn't be closed - after getting multiple staff members to help and multiple attempts from each of them, they advised to push on a certain part of the door to force it closed. This worked, but due to the force required, only my partner could open or close the door for the rest of the holiday. Our curtains didn't cover the full window so we didn't have full privacy and couldnt keep the room dark while sleeping. The lift was broken for the duration of our stay (and looked to have been that way for some time), there was no hot water for 7 of the 8 days we were there, the entire complex's water cut out entirely for one afternoon (no taps running, no toilet flushes etc) and the air con unit above our bed leaked cold water on the middle of our bed multiple times. Our room wasn't 'cleaned' (towel change and bed made) as per the schedule we were told, despite chasing several times, so we ended up requesting fresh towels separately (they were more needed due to the shower draining onto the main bathroom floor, leaving a huge puddle). The (rainfall) shower also didn't work properly- just dribbled through the central hole. The breakfast was not great, largely various cheeses and breads but different each day and the fruit was often past its best, there was cereal but no obvious milk or yoghurt to accompany it and all 3 fruit juice options on the drinks dispenser were out of order our entire stay (again, looked to be a long-term problem). The staff are mostly young, teenageish and didn't seem bothered to help with any problems, instead congregating in groups and looking warily at approaching guests. We heard multiple others complaining during our stay with similar issues, including some people who had been without electricity in the whole complex for a day before we arrived. We complained via our travel agent but the hotel refused to engage with them to agree a refund, so we have been left out of pocket (this is since a September stay, so plenty of time for the to have responded). Do not waste your time and money on this hotel!
