Sahra Su Holiday Village and Spa

I loved my stay here, I found I had a great time with my family everyday. There were really fun excursions to book too. A few negative things about the hotel were that the Internet connection didn’t work in my room or in certain areas, and also when I got here my room was left a little messy; for example; the bathroom door was smashed. Also, there weren’t much food options in the restaurant. And also, I didn’t like how people in the hair salon or the photographer here would beg and beg for us to use their services.

Things I did like were the pools, the pools were really fun and were all the same depth (140cm) so I didn’t have to worry about not being able to touch the ground. The supermarket in the shop was amazing. I also loved loved loved the food that wasn’t in the restaurant, the snack bar I’m gonna call it — I really liked the margarita pizza and the chicken burger, they also did waffles there and it was so good. I also liked the pancakes, and the gelato ice cream. staying here was amazing, thank you ^^

We've just returned from a wonderful week. ☀️ Family of 4, kids are 17y and 9y.

We stayed in a standard swim up room. The room was quite small for the 4 of us however it was clean and the bed was comfy. Having the pool was really lovely. 💦 There is no WiFi at the hotel. We hired a WiFi box from Mr. Hotspot.

Food was fine. Lots of grilled meats, nice salads and dips/sauce. Always freshTurkish bread available. The pizza from the snack bar was really nice. The pancake lady is great, my daughter loved her! We all enjoyed Ice-cream lollies between 3-5pm. Drinks were good. Strawberry cooler was my favourite. 🍓

Carlos and Oscar run the entertainment and are so lovely. They did a great job. During the day its water aerobics, water polo, lilo race etc. Night time entertainment starts at 21:00 with a kids disco (a few songs with actions) followed by the evening entertainment. The live music group, Hot Chocolate, are excellent! 🎤 There is also bingo, raffle etc. There is no kids club. There is a very small area with a small plastic slide and swing but its not staffed.

My 9 year old had her nails done at the beauty salon, €12. 💅🏻 My 17y old and I had a really lovely spa package, £45. I would highly recommend. 💆🏻‍♀️

There are lots of cats and currently 6 kittens. Being cat lovely this was a big bonus for us. Most of the cats are friendly and don't mind a stroke. 🐈‍⬛️

We had a brilliant day out with Animal's Excursions . I would definitely recommend the Wet n Wild day. We all came back exhausted!

We had a great week here. The staff are so helpful. It's quite a small hotel but we quite liked that. The hotel has lovely mountain views. I would definitely come back.

Mostly good Negatives first; family of 4 staying in bungalow (22) far too small. Asked on arrival to pay for upgrade (never done this before now). Was advised nothing available until following week (although did know of others after us that moved to larger rooms). Bathroom definitely in need of update - hairdryer came off in my hand on the first night exposing bare wires (not safe) reported it but still not fixed and we leave tomorrow. Noisy as near entertainment area which goes on until midnight - but convenient for pool / restaurant and entertainment (so no complaints really regarding room location).

Positives - I have plenty. Staff do an amazing job keeping this resort clean and running smoothly. We have found them to be friendly and attentive especially in the restaurant. I had been worried after reading reviews re food here but there was no need. Food is lovely - lots of choice and of good standard. We are vegetarians and have enjoyed most meals (Turkish night offered least choice as was almost all meat dishes). The omelettes at breakfast are spot on and the deserts are the best I have tried in Turkey. Lolly ices of an afternoon are a nice touch but I think the kids would love ice cream after dinner of an evening (there is a stall to buy them from though). Pool is lovely and lots of beds available Entertainment is good and the team work hard. I am saddened to see so many stray cats here and signs asking guests not to feed them. Some of the cats look so thin - I have bougt food and given them water (as upsetting to see them like this with so much food here going to waste) I think the hotel have a duty of care to look after the cats that live here (lots of hotels I have stayed in pay for a vet to neuter the cats and have monthly visits) Sahra Su should do the same. On the whole we have had a lovely holiday and would recommend this resort as a good 3 star standard.
