Just had a 2 week stay at the Dalyan live spa hotel. Fantastic place, great staff, fab pool bar, good rooms, good food. A great hol all round. Special thanks to alp, atti, and Mel at the pool bar for joining in our fun. Love yous all and see you next year.. maybe twice 😉 Jonny and Kelly. 👍🏼
We’ve had an absolutely fantastic 2 weeks here and are genuinely so sad to be leaving. We’re already talking about coming back!
We stayed in room 302, a ground-floor room facing the pool, and it was perfect for us. The room was immaculate, with a huge comfortable double bed, lovely spacious bathroom, plenty of plug sockets and a fridge. The cleaners came every day and did a fab job and were always so pleasant and friendly. We left a couple of little towel creations for our cleaner and she left some for us in return, which made us smile – such a lovely little touch!
A special mention has to go to the bar staff, particularly Ati, Alp and Meltim, amongst the others. They all work incredibly hard and really did make our stay extra special. They were so friendly and welcoming and genuinely made us feel like family. ❤️
My father-in-law stayed in one of the upstairs apartments. His bathroom was slightly smaller than ours but still perfectly usable and he was very happy with his accommodation too.
The whole hotel is kept beautifully. The gardens are immaculate, the pool area is great and, most importantly for me, the pool was actually warm enough for me not to moan about getting in! 😂
The food at the hotel was also really good and very reasonably priced. Over the two weeks we pretty much made our way through the menu and honestly didn’t have a bad meal! It was lovely having the option to just stay around the hotel, have something nice to eat and know it wasn’t going to cost a fortune.
We also hired one of the 3-seater tuk-tuks from the hotel for £15 per day for quite a few days during our stay and absolutely loved having it. The hotel charged it up for us every night so it was ready to go again the next day. It was such a fun and handy way of getting around. Even without the tuk-tuk, it’s only a pleasant 10–15 minute stroll into the centre.
What really made the holiday for us though was how welcoming everyone was. It’s a lovely, relaxed place and after two weeks it really did start to feel like home. The staff work so hard but still always had time for a smile and a chat.
We are genuinely gutted to be leaving today, which probably says everything! We’ve had such a lovely holiday and made some brilliant memories here. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.
We’re already planning our return! ❤️☀️🇹🇷
We had the most excellent stay at Dalyan Live and would absolutely return again.
Location A peaceful spot next to the Dalyan River. You can see the ancient tombs from outside of the hotel! It is a short 10-15 min stroll into town where you'll find restaurants, bars and shops. It has a perfect balance of lively and relaxed - you can find a restaurant or bar to fit your mood. The hotel is a located just 1 min to the pier where you can catch a boat to Turtle Beach. Just ask reception to call the boat for you. It costs 400TL each, return.
Atmosphere The hotel itself is lovely. The staff are so friendly and we spend many evenings chatting away to the bar staff. Special mention to Meltem and Ati who were so lovely to spend time talking to! The bar is open until 2am but its not loud or disruptive. Great drinks menu, reasonably priced, including the cocktails. Nice to stop for a relaxed drink after an evening out. It would be an excellent hotel as 'adults only' as the relaxing vibe of the hotel was sometimes not the same during the day when there were many children playing (or whinging 😆) in the pool. As a quiet spa hotel with no real facilities for children, it would suit adult only much better!
Facilities The pool is big and a perfect temperature. The area around to pool could just do with a little upkeep - bit of a sweep and tidy more regularly. The sunbeds were a bit of an issue. People reserving them at breakfast and then not using them until hours later. We did always manage to find a sunbed, but often at the back / behind a row of empty ones with towels on! Later in the week several big family groups who were the worst culprits did leave and the situation improved. It shouldn't be for the hotel to police, people just need to be better! The sunbed cushions look a bit tired and need a bit of an update to feel a little more like 4*. We didnt use the spa or gym. We intended to hire the golf buggies but forgot our driving licenses, so make sure you have this if you want to hire them.
Food The breakfast is simple. I thought it was delicious the first few days and then it did get a little bit repetitive after a week! If staying for longer we may have headed out for breakfast for a change. For example there are about 15 different types of jams in huge bowls (that were delicious!), but just 1 type of bread everyday. The food menu at the bar is excellent serving pizza, pasta, wraps, chicken, Turkish cuisine, meze, burgers etc etc. Every meal we had there was delicious. There is no set lunch/dinner time or menu, so you can eat anytime you like until about 730pm. It's s really convenient to fit in with your day.
Rooms Room was a good size, quiet, clean and well kept. However, you can see there is some general wear and tear that again would benefit form a bit of updating and maintenance to truly feel 4*. The room was quiet at night (which I value greatly!) and we got a good night's sleep on the huge comfy bed. Air con was lovely!
This was an excellent holiday overall. Highlights of the hotel are the staff, pool and quiet location. Improvements would be updating the sunbeds and making the breakfast a little more varied.
Second time visiting Daylan Live Spa Hotel and we absolutely love it, rooms are to a high standard cleaned everyday, breakfast is lovely especially the eggs cooked freshly, no hassle for sunbeds always plenty available, and a really chilled vibe at the hotel leaving a relaxed feeling, staff can't do enough for you, we will be booking again for next year.
We absolutely loved our stay here and, having read some of the previous comments, our experience was completely different. We were recommended by others on this website, and we’re so glad we took their advice.
The staff were fantastic — so warm, friendly and welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The lady who cooked the eggs at breakfast was particularly lovely and even remembered our names each day, which was such a lovely personal touch.
The food was excellent — fresh, tasty and beautifully prepared. Breakfast had a lovely selection of homemade options, alongside plenty of other choices to suit all tastes — even my fussy 12-year-old! We also really enjoyed the food and drinks around the pool.
We can understand the comments about the sunbeds, as people were clearly getting up early for their preferred spots which I wouldn’t expect the hotel to have to police! However, this didn’t mean there were no other beds available. We always found an alternative around the pool which was still convenient and enjoyable.
The hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for us — an easy walk into Dalyan whilst still being peaceful.
We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay and would happily return. Fantastic staff, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere — we’re so glad we chose to stay here!
