- Dalyan Hotel Palmyra

Nestling in the centre of the riverside resort of Dalyan, in an area of natural beauty famed for its' Loggerhead turtles, this boutique hotel's location doesn't get much better than this. Within metres of Dalyan River and featuring a riverside restaurant and terrace serving fresh fish caught daily, the property is ideally placed for those looking for something a little bit different from a classical beach resort. Local amenities are closeby with easy access to public transport and there are private boat services which run up and down the river to places such as Iztuzu Beach and Dalyan mud baths. The property boasts a small garden with pool and is the perfect place to relax while the guest rooms are cosy and pleasantly furnished with modern amenities.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
stayed here for just 2 nights but i definitly will come back again! I arived in the late afternoon so after checking in i had a nice drink on their terrace. I had a room with the river view wich is amazing. There rooms are not big but perfectly clean and comfy. The staff is also very friendly and happy to help you.
I saw the negative comments about the live music from the rooftop bar, but well i dont mind, i am on holliday and that live music is finished at 01.00 anyway...actually it had something romantic to listen the music from my balcony and watching the stars. the second night i had a look in the rooftop skylounge bar and i have to say that is a really nice place to pop in after dinner and relax in the lounges.. so all i can say that i recommend this place.. its a great place to stay so i will be back again.
I booked to stay in this hotel for 2 weeks in June through bookings.com beacause I liked the Idea of being by the river. Although I do believe that they have some nicer rooms at the front overlooking the river the one they gave me was as another reviewer put it: "just like a prison cell". the mirror was cracked there was not a single hanger on the rail in the broken down cupboard and the room was dark and dingy. The music from the live lounge above went on till 1 o'clock as did the music from the Jazz bar across the road. After 4 sleepless nights I decided that I could not take it any more and told the manager who spoke no English that I wanted to leave. I was told that as I had booked through Bookings. com I would have to pay for the nights I stayed plus 20% of the cost of the remaining nights that I had booked in advance so my stay ended up costing me about £100 per night. I discovered that Dalyan is full of excellent inexpensive hotels and manged to find a nice quiet one that charged me just 70 lira per night wich at the time was about £11 including breakfast. I did eat at the Palmyra restaurant which I found to be pretty good, they did a nice fillet steak.
Stayed for 1 week, food was excellent cooked to perfection! compliments to the chef homemade chip like my mum use to cook, steak cooked to your liking, recommend it to everyone! you dont have to stay there to enjoy the excellent service and food im back in sep 2019
Recently stayed for 7 nights at this Hotel and couldn’t be happier with staff, location, cleanliness and food. I’ve never been anywhere where the staff are so attentive, so genuine, kind and helpful especially Melike (Millie). It can be a little noisy in the evening but you are always going to get that with such a central beautiful location but it really wasn’t bad. I took my 83 year old mum and it didn’t bother her, she absolutely loved it. Thank you all for helping us have such a FAB time x
Very central, boats lined up outside the restaurant. Easy walk into town. No private car parking, but public car park close by. Room was small and noisy as right on main road so terrace not useable. Pool looked grubby and not a sun lounger in sight. Pleasant staff in restaurant. Fresh fish well cooked. Moved after one night having booked and paid for 4.
