Sundia Exclusive by Liberty Fethiye

We had a really great stay at the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the food was really good, and overall we had a great time.

A special thank you to Mete, the entertainer, who really made our stay extra enjoyable. He was always friendly, funny, energetic, and made sure everyone was having a good time. You could really see how much effort he put into entertaining everyone and creating a fun atmosphere. Mete definitely stood out and made our holiday more memorable.

I stayed at Sundia Exclusive by Liberty Fethiye with my wife and paid approximately €2,416 for one week on an All-Inclusive basis.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, nowhere near the standard that should be expected for a hotel at this price level.

The problem is not one isolated incident. It is the accumulation of an extraordinary number of service failures throughout our stay.

The room

Upon arrival, we were given a room with a view directly onto construction works. I requested a sea-view room and had a very long and unpleasant discussion with Svetlana, whose attitude towards me was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Fortunately, Mr. Humit, the evening Manager, eventually intervened and managed to find us a sea-view room.

Ironically, Mr. Humit solved in a short time a problem that had previously been made unnecessarily difficult. I would like to acknowledge his professionalism.

Food & All-Inclusive service

The dinner quality was very disappointing and clearly not consistent with the price paid.

The white wine served to my wife was mediocre.

Even worse, I was asked to pay separately for fresh orange juice at breakfast despite being All-Inclusive. This is simply unacceptable. If fresh orange juice is an extra charge, this should be made absolutely clear when selling the All-Inclusive package.

On 24 August, there was no dessert and no ice cream available, and a bottle of white wine that had been given to us the previous day was subsequently taken back.

Spa – Sauna & Hammam

This was another particularly frustrating experience.

On 30 August 2026, Tanya from the Spa refused to allow me to use the Sauna or Hammam throughout the entire morning, claiming that they were reserved.

I was given no satisfactory explanation as to who had reserved them, for how long, or why a hotel guest on an All-Inclusive package should be denied access to these facilities.

On another occasion, Tanta refused to allow me to use eucalyptus in the Hammam, even though nobody else was using it at that time.

Other problems during our stay

The list continues:

• Approximately one hour without Internet access while dealing with Berk. • An inconvenient towel-card system. • No clear information about stretching classes at the pool. • A fire alarm at 01:05 because of a guest smoking, with an apparently inadequate management response. • No one available to properly arrange parasols around the pool. • No service at the sunbeds to bring coffee. • At 09:15, I was refused a double Nespresso coffee at the bar facing reception because it supposedly opened at 10:00 and was sent elsewhere. • Extremely poor-quality music around the pool. • Very restrictive opening hours, making late breakfast, lunch or dinner practically impossible. • The ping-pong table disappeared approximately 24 hours after our arrival and was unavailable for around two days because of a staff tournament. This is completely unacceptable during high season. • The live band throughout the stay was disappointing. • On 28 August 2026, there were no beach towels and no sunbeds available. I had to personally contact Deniz Batman, the Front Office Manager, to resolve the problem.

Overall conclusion

For approximately €2,416 for one week for two people, I expected a comfortable and high-quality All-Inclusive holiday.

Instead, I spent a significant part of my stay having to complain, negotiate with staff and ask management to resolve basic service problems.

The number of issues is simply astonishing.

This hotel has the potential to offer a good holiday, but the organisation, consistency of service and management of guest expectations need significant improvement.

I have formally complained to the hotel and requested appropriate financial compensation for the cumulative service failures.

I sincerely hope that Senior Management will take this complaint seriously and recognise that a simple apology or symbolic gesture would not adequately reflect the experience we had.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sundia Exclusive by Liberty Fethiye at this price level unless the hotel significantly improves its service standards and guest management.

Great experience with their customer service. Staff were great and entertaining (especially Mete). Great food, great room, great facilities, great atmosphere and great value for money. Highly recommend.
