Value for money Hotel Mendos Garden
Last day here today, 24 May 2026. Completely redecorated outside and inside. Continental breakfast and Lunch available, but do not cater after 6pm. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. Have to pay extra for air conditioning. No noisy people and some young families here. Deck chairs not reserved with towels the night before. 200 yards from beach and plenty of good restaurants within that distance. Hoping to come again in October.
Basic but Good
Basic but very clean 3* hotel. Staff helpful & friendly, beds on the hard side, rooms small but enough for 2 adults. Would be nice if you didn't have to pay extra for the fridge, also please add coffee/tea faculties in the room. Breakfast was basic but plentiful, would be nice if crossiants & pastries were included. Yes I would recommend if you wanted a cheap holiday that's well situated to beach, bars & restaurants.

Worst hotel in calis.
Absolutely nothing exclusive about this hotel at all! Staff only accommodate their family. Waiting to be served at the bar whilst owners family were helping themselves to food and drink - not acceptable considering we are fully paying guests. Paid full price for a child because they changed their free child space policy to 6 years and under, not much for children at Breakfast so I asked if they could get coco pops, they refused so I had to go out and buy my own. The kids park is in a unkempt terrible state and not safe to use at all, hotel staff aren't interested either. The only decent member of staff is Ali the barman who is running around doing everything. Charging for aircon even though their website states its included, they decided to start charging for aircon after we booked, however wouldn't honour it so fighting with jet2 to get the money back. Areas near plant pots stink of cat poo, not very pleasant or exclusive. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!

Exceptional loved every single moment
This hotel went above my expectations what a wonderful hotel , the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern and the cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel it was spotless, the pool area was beautiful well kept modern with plenty of sun loungers. There’s a outdoor bar area with a excellent selection of refreshments next to that was a kitchen area that did food from midday to 18.00 the food was top class very talented chef, breakfast was a continental breakfast no complaints at all, I loved every single moment of my stay in the hotel wonderful staff and lily the owner just couldn’t do enough for you , I can wait for my return in the not to distant future thank you all x
Very bad
The worst hotel experience of our lives — wouldn’t recommend it even to an enemy!
Everything went wrong from the very beginning. At check-in, we were met by an unfriendly receptionist who didn’t provide any information about the hotel — nothing about meals, amenities, or rules.
When we got to our room, we discovered that the air conditioner wasn’t working. Only after going back down to the reception did we learn that we had to ask for a remote control. There we were also told that the air conditioner costs extra, the fridge costs extra, and the safe costs extra. We were afraid to even ask what else might be charged in this so-called “three-star” nightmare.
The room was just terrible. The entire space was taken up by three beds — no room to move or even turn around. It was extremely cramped and stuffy.
The breakfasts were a pathetic excuse for a meal. Very poor selection, unappetizing food, and flies buzzing over the dishes. We couldn’t eat it. We had breakfast at the hotel only once; for the rest of our stay, we chose to eat elsewhere so as not to ruin our mood completely.
The pool opens only at 10 a.m. because, as we were told at the reception, the water is treated in the morning — even though according to all norms and logic, it should be done in the evening. As a result, the water reeks of chlorine, and swimming in it is simply unbearable.

Conclusion: This hotel is absolutely not worth the money or the stress. The service is non-existent, and the conditions are borderline unsanitary. We strongly advise against staying here!
