Indian à la cart worth a visit
We had an amazing evening at the Liberty Fabay Hotel, especially at the Indian à la carte restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with real care.
A special mention has to go to Mert, our waiter, who was excellent throughout the evening. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and made the whole experience feel really special.
Compliments also to Chef Engin and the kitchen team for such an outstanding meal. Every dish was delicious, and it was easily one of the highlights of our stay.
A truly memorable evening with great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Standard not upto standard
Unfortunately, first impressions have been disappointing. We booked a standard room which isn’t up to standard, the room is overlooking the blank wall of another building. For a hotel marketed as a luxury 5-star resort, and at the price we’ve paid, we expected at least a pleasant garden or resort outlook. You would get a better view in prison.
Prior to our stay, I emailed the hotel to let them know we were celebrating my partner’s birthday so I hoped this would be taken into consideration when allocating our room and not be looking at a blank wall.
We spoke to the manager, Alihan, about our concerns. Unfortunately, we found him quite abrupt and not particularly accommodating. There was no acknowledgement of our disappointment or apology, and we were simply told the hotel was full and I can go to reception tomorrow but didn’t seem like would accommodate us atall. A little empathy and customer service would have gone a long way.
At this stage, we’re disappointed that our holiday has started this way. I’ll update this review at the end of the 10 day holiday to reflect how the situation is handled and our overall experience.
Holiday
We had a wonderful stay at Liberty Fabay. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and perfect for families. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food offered plenty of variety, and the kids’ facilities and activities kept our children entertained throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our vacation and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fethiye.
