My son and I stayed at Liberty Fabay and what a lovely time we had. Such a beautiful hotel. Clean and modern with a stunning outlook over the beach.
A really good selection of food at the buffet. Lots of pools to sit round and enjoy the daytime activities and entertainment. The adult pool was a quieter area for 16+ and a lovely place to sit, chill and sunbath then dip in the wonderful pool to cool off from the hot sunshine.
Evening entertainment was fun. Staff were all so friendly. Some lovely shops on site but across the road you have some more lovely shops to browse. The staff in these shops were all so welcoming.
Great hotel for everyone. Highly recommend. Thank you Liberty Fabay!
We had our 2nd trip to liberty fabay in may this year, just like our last trip it was exceptional. The hotel is spotless, the selection of food is unbelievable even for our kids who can be fussy at times.
Amazing entertainment shows at night and a great pool for during the day .
The staff are what really made the holiday special for us. Errol and mustapha were great during food service . However special mention to Cebrail at the beach front cabanas and Levent who runs the photography. Both these guys were amazing at making our holiday special and we will return for our 3rd visit just to see them
We have just returned home after a wonderful stay at Liberty Fabay and wanted to leave a balanced review for anyone considering booking.
From the moment we arrived at around 9:40pm, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. We were greeted by Guest Relations with wine and chocolates, which was such a lovely touch after a long day of travelling. We were then shown to our room.
We stayed in Kekova Block, room K128, a Standard Land View room. Before travelling I had specifically requested this room after seeing the view in another guest's post online, so we were absolutely thrilled that the hotel honoured our request. The view from our balcony was beautiful and really made our stay that little bit more special.
Pros
The food and drink options - My family and I have never stayed at a hotel with so many dining options. My son and I absolutely loved the selection of ice creams and the cakes in the patisserie. I don't think I've ever tried so many different ice cream flavours in one holiday!
The evening entertainment - Without a doubt, this was the highlight of our holiday. The nightly shows were genuinely outstanding – I'd honestly say they're almost on a West End level. Our favourite was the Flash Back show and we loved getting up to dance. The Cappadocia Party was another unforgettable evening. The hotel clearly puts an enormous amount of effort into making sure guests have an amazing time, and we made memories that we'll treasure for years to come.
The Kids Club - Before arriving, I was slightly apprehensive about leaving our son at the Kids Club for an hour or two each morning, but I needn't have worried. Every single day he was welcomed with huge smiles and so much enthusiasm by the staff, which immediately put us at ease. The facilities were clean, safe and well organised, and our son was genuinely sad to leave at the end of the holiday.
I'd especially like to thank Sedat (apologies if I've misspelled your name), who always made our son feel so special, particularly on his birthday. You made his holiday that little bit more magical, and we're so grateful.
The pool areas- When we first arrived, we spent most of our time around the main pool near the Myra Adults Only Restaurant. It was perfect for us as a family because it felt much more relaxed than some of the busier areas with loud music. There were never any sunbed wars, we always found a lovely spot, considering we went peak summer, I was rather surprised at this! Later in the holiday we discovered what felt like a hidden gem – the small pool below our balcony, attached to the swim-up rooms. Although connected to those rooms, it was available for all guests to use. With just two sunbeds and an umbrella, we practically had the whole area to ourselves every time we visited. It quickly became our favourite place to relax.
Pattara Beach Bar - This became our favourite place to spend the early evenings. Sitting there with a cocktail watching the sunset while listening to the live singers created such a lovely atmosphere. It was the perfect place to unwind after dinner. Just don't forget the insect repellent – I learned that lesson the hard way!
Guest Relations - I was incredibly impressed with the Guest Relations service, particularly the personal WhatsApp chat available to guests. I requested a small bath for my son and it arrived at our room within minutes. On another occasion I accidentally left his water bottle in the main restaurant, and by the following morning they had already located it for us. The responses were always quick, friendly and efficient, and it made such a difference not having to walk down to reception every time we needed something. My only slight niggle was that we requested a bellboy to bring down our luggage upon departure, which guest relations confirmed, but it never arrived. But it was a busy morning with other guests leaving, so it was not that much of a big deal
Cons
Unfortunately our biggest disappointment was the main buffet restaurant. At peak dining times it became incredibly overcrowded, to the point where eating felt more stressful than enjoyable.
The grill station regularly had queues of around 10 minutes, and because there didn't appear to be any real queue management, it wasn't uncommon for people to push in front of others. For a hotel of this standard, it definitely took away from what should have been a relaxing dining experience.
I genuinely think this could be improved by introducing bookable dining slots for the main restaurant at dinner. Spreading guests out more evenly throughout the evening would reduce congestion, shorten queues and create a much more enjoyable experience for everyone.
One other thing we witnessed that surprised us was two visibly drunk women coming in from the beach. They looked noticeably shifty, kept looking around as they entered, and it was pretty obvious they were trying to sneak into the hotel rather than simply returning as guests normally would. We obviously can't say for certain whether they were staying at the hotel or not, but based on what we saw it certainly gave that impression. It did make us question how secure the beach access is, and whether it could be monitored a little more closely to help prevent unauthorised people entering the resort.
Overall though, these issues didn't overshadow what was a fantastic family holiday. The positives far outweighed the negatives. The entertainment is genuinely world class, the Kids Club exceeded every expectation we had, the Guest Relations team were exceptional, and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you to everyone at Liberty Fabay for helping us make memories that we'll treasure forever.🩵
Amazing Italian food and excellent service from Romazan and Autul at the Italian restaurant this evening. Romazan was very good with our boys age 9 and age 6, they loved their starters and mains, the pepperoni pizza and the spaghetti bolognaise.
This was our third visit in 12 months, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of Liberty Fabay. The fact we’ve returned three times says everything about how much we love this hotel.
One of the biggest highlights is that there are no sunbed wars! No getting up at silly o’clock to reserve a lounger – there’s always plenty of space, which makes for such a relaxing holiday.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel is immaculate. Our favourite place has to be the Beach Bar – it’s so chilled, set in a stunning location, and the perfect place to unwind with a drink while looking out over the sea.
The staff are what really make this hotel so special. Every single member of the team goes above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay. There are far too many to mention individually, but we wanted to give some special recognition to a few people who made our holiday extra memorable.
A huge thank you to Ceran in the Kids Club and Erin in the Youth Club. Our children absolutely adore coming back to see you every visit, and you make such a positive impact on their holiday.
Special thanks also to Mert and Engin in the Indian Restaurant for their fantastic service, Gizem and Sedat Kuzu at the Beach Bar for always looking after us with a smile, and finally Reda from the entertainment team – your energy and enthusiasm are infectious, and you help create such a brilliant atmosphere.
The only small downside this time was that the main buffet at dinner felt busier than on our previous visits, particularly the queue for the meat station. However, this certainly didn’t take away from what was another fantastic holiday.
If you’re wondering whether to book Liberty Fabay, don’t hesitate. Go for it! I promise you won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait to return for visit number four!
