- Tiana Beach Resort

This beach hotel is located on the Bodrum Peninsula in an area known as Kadikalesi, which is a 5-minute taxi ride from the famous weekly farmers market and the numerous restaurants, bars and shops of Turgutreis. Sitting on its own private beach area, the venue is ideal for all water-sport enthusiasts due to the sheer number of facilities it can offer them. Those who aren't so keen on activities can simply relax around the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean weather. The youngest guests will also have their own separate children's swimming area where they can play under the watchful eye of their parents. For little extra pampering the venue can also offer soothing massages and a sauna.
Hi everyone, I would like to leave a positive review for the Tiana Beach Resort hotel. Excellent food and drinks and very helpful and friendly service throughout the hotel. I would like to thank Saly and Muhamed - they are the showmen in the bar. 😁 And DJ Bob played great music for them. Thanks to you, it was a wonderful vacation. Jitka 😘
Booked as a cheap getaway didn’t expect 5 star. Hotel is very remote only a shop outside with no prices we didn’t use. Apart from that you are 30-45 walk to nearest bars restaurants shops. Had we known it was so remote we wouldn’t have booked. We like to use a hotel as a base and get out and about so 45 min walk or 300tl taxi each way wasn’t ideal. We tried to find the local bus stop but the information from reception wasn’t too clear. To be fair they couldn’t help with local pharmacy information either. The beach area was ok if you could get a bed (as people were doubling up on towels on the beach and poolside) however beach bar doesn’t offer drinks all inclusive apart from juice and tea. Food was ok but very repetitive. Fridge in room wasn’t working and took 3 attempts of asking before it was fixed at 10:30pm one night. Room wasn’t always cleaned and never fully. Adam for boat trips was great as were the restaurant and bar team especially the ice cream/snack guy. If you are looking to not leave resort and don’t mind eating the same food this is your place.
Really nice place such a good service food was amazing and people was absolutely wonderful
I went to Tiana as my first solo holiday for 4 nights 15th - 19th June. The transfer was quite long from the airport but then that has never really bothered me.
As my first time travelling along I felt very safe at this hotel. The restaurant manager offered his assistance on day one as I think they realised I was solo. Not that I needed it but it was a nice gesture.
I saw a lot of reviews about the food, but I have to say I enjoyed everything that I ate here and thought the meat quality especially was really good! Especially the beef which was usually labelled as meatballs whether it was ball shaped or not (I did have a giggle to myself). The salad options was very nice. Discovered I like the tiny green plums they had here with the fresh melon as well.
I didn't spend much time around the pool but loved the beach area, especially the morning on the jetty. My tip here is that the sun is hitting the sun loungers on the jetty in the morning up until about 11/12, I spent my time sunbathing there until then/lunchtime and then went to get a drink and lunch then found a spot on the beach in the sun, which is of course a lot easier to do as a solo traveller as you don't have to worry about anyone else getting a spot.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, Sali at the bar was great! Also if you go down to the beach area and meet Sharky who does the watersports just a little way down he's fun to chat to, make sure you ask him about his trip to Miami.
Entertainment wise there wasn't tons going on, but then I was usually in bed by 10 and up early which is my norm so again suited me perfectly fine, it depends what type of hotel you are looking for. I think there was kareoke and such after I'd already gone to the room but again I was happy to read for an hour before bed, from what I could hear though it sounded like people were having a laugh.
I booked a boat trip through the guy at the hotel (feel bad I can't remember his name), which was a great day out even if it did feel a bit stormy on the way back, all part of the fun! There was 5 swim stops too which were all nice lovely clear water and lunch included which was breaded chicken, tomato pasta, bread and salad which I really enjoyed all for 30 euros couldn't complain about anything!
I rented one beach towel for 5 euros on the first day and on the last day got the 5 euros deposit back as advetised, tip here though if you are leaving early, return the towel the day before as the spa you get tem from does not open till 9am.
There is chargeable cocktail bar, or there are two included in the all inclusive and the pool bar, not specified other than the red or green one. Personally I liked the red one but both were nice, and the Efes beer is nice and light/refreshing in the heat.
I found the rooms quite nice, I had a ground floor room with a nice balcony which had privacy from the greenery around it. The bed was comfortably even if the pillows were a little lumpy I slept well. The shower was a bit of getting used to as hard to adjust but the pressure was great and always hot!
I met the owner of the hotel when I was waiting for my transfer back to the airport and he was friendly too, asked my opinions of the hotel before revealing who he was even though I had a sneaking suspicion. If you read this I told you I wouldn't forget to leave a review :P (even it was a bit delayed)
I would definitely return here, Bodrum is a beautiful place and this hotel is a lovely little gem. Hopefully see you again soon Tiana :)
Right let’s address the elephant in the room first: the glowing reviews for this place.
Towards the end of my stay, the manager utilised a high-pressure tactic by actively standing over me, hovering and refusing to leave until a 5-star review was submitted in his presence.
I was planning to leave a nice review but this tactic was totally unnecessary and really did p155 me off. I encourage people to read the lower score reviews for this hotel because they are honest. I can only assume that judging by all the positive reviews either the manager has a full time job in leaning on the guests, or they are seriously easily pleased. The Actual Experience: As well as the unnecessary intimidation tactic which made me feel very uncomfortable I now feel so incensed that stripping away the fake 5-star hype only seems fair. This is a functional 3-star hotel that is fine if your expectations are grounded in reality.
However it falls far short when compared to other larger corporate owned hotels in many ways.
Location: Situated right at the end of the boulevard, it is in the armpit of nowhere and is well away from any the main action. You will be one of the last on the transfer bus.
You are looking at a 20-minute walk to the outskirts of any nightlife, and a solid 45-minute trek to the main town.
If you have mobility issues, small children, or want vibrant nightlife on your doorstep, be prepared to rely heavily on taxis.
Rooms & Facilities: Credit where it is due, the beds are genuinely comfortable.
However, the rooms are visibly tired and desperately need corporate-level investment to modernize them. No kettle or iron in the room.
Expect annoying maintenance quirks, like leaking showers and noisy air-conditioning units.
I had to pack out the casing of the unit in my room with folded paper just to stop it from rattling.
Service & Dining: Housekeeping was inconsistent; my room was skipped entirely one day, requiring a trip to reception for fresh towels.
The food is okay, but incredibly repetitive. I had more choice when I was in jail. And by day seven, the constant lack of variety made me feel like I was back there! Standard mass production Turkish deserts unless you want water melon that had more pips than Gladys Knight.
Finally, breakfast didn't start until 8am, which is frustrating for anyone wanting to get up and go out early. Breakfast is ok if you like boiled eggs, or cold scrambled eggs. And everyday there was some processed sausage type deal, in fact a lot of the meats were processed.
Verdict: It is an acceptable hotel if you have realistic expectations, the staff seem happy enough but absolutely beware regarding the overall rating. Personally I won't be staying here ever again. There are miles better hotels up the strip.
