9Bodrum Hotel

Seven nights spent at this gorgeous newly opened family run boutique hotel located in the heart of Turgutreis, Bodrum. The room was new, spacious clean and quiet owing to the double-glazed windows. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fridge, a very good AC system. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and the shower had excellent water pressure. The generous Turkish breakfast was tasty and the staff were happy to accommodate when informed of my gluten and lactose intolerance. The hotel is approximately 3 minutes walk to the beach and a bar and restaurant-lined promenade. The area felt safe enough to stroll around after dark. A Saturday market takes place across the road from the hotel. I was a solo traveller and Murat bey and his team were helpful and made me feel very welcome. Despite the hotel not having an all-day menu, they do host a regular Turkish BBQ night on the top floor terrace of the hotel for 25 Euro which includes two glasses of alcoholic drinks (wine,beer). I visited from the UK after the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted and felt very safe. The staff all wore masks and provided hand gels and masks to the hotel guests. 9bodrum Butik hotel is a hidden little gem. A big thank you to Murat bey and his team and for their great hospitality. I look forward to returning again.

Found this hotel on web and it was perfect for our needs. Located very close to the beach (5 mins walk) and right in the centre. No barClub noise to worry about. It is opposite a market which can cause a little early morning noise but nothing that bothered us and our windows faced the market. The room we had (No 3) was spacious, equipped as described and spotlessly clean. WiFi in room was perfect 👍 The balcony or terrace mentioned is a communal roof terrace and not individual to rooms. The reason we would return has to include the staff. Front of house was the manager Sadi. He was exceptional and we cannot thank him enough for the welcome and service we had. He was well supported by a male colleague (sorry can’t pronounce his name) and they both made our stay very special. A traditional Turkish breakfast was available for a fee and was plentiful and delicious. It is a hotel we would definitely return to. There was no kettle in room but does have a fridge. Sadi will make you a tea / coffee on request. Steps to upper floors are a bit steep and may be difficult for someone with mobility issues (no lift) . Over all an excellent hotel that we loved.
