Combining typical local architecture with a modern twist, this 78-room hotel consists of 14 low-rise, stone-built blocks which nestle amongst an ancient olive grove over-looking Torba Bay on Bodrum's northern peninsula. The airport is just 33 km away and the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum is within less than a 10-minute car ride. The hotel features spacious gardens with a couple of pools, a restaurant and bar and has spa facilities for those wishing to indulge in some pampering. Public transport runs close-by and small restaurants and café bars can be found close to the water's edge.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We visited the Zeytinada in October 2024 (only just realised I hadn't left a review!) We have stayed in the Bodrum area a few times now but this was the first time to the Zeytinada and the Torba area.
Area:- approx. 10 minutes drive into Bodrum itself, there is a Dolmus stop to the side of the hotel or its a taxi ride, reception were always happy to book us a taxi which came to the reception door for us. The hotels drive is a bit steep as it sits lower than the roadside, so could be difficult with wheelchairs etc. Torba itself is quiet and small, some lovely restaurants on the water front but not alot there, so definitely a holiday place for those wanting to be away from the noise of the main resorts. The hotel itself is on a busy main road which can be difficult to cross when you wanting to use the shop over the way but noise wise, you don't really hear anything from within the hotel.
Hotel:- Beautiful setting with the olive trees and gardens, wouldn't say it's somewhere for children as it's designed more for adults/couples, with no entertainment day or night (except a singer on the Thursday night whilst having dinner) and soft music playing around the pool throughout the day. It's clear that the Zeytinada's main trade is from cabin crew/pilots who are stopping for a night or so and then moving on. This said, there was still plenty of holiday makers and we were all well looked after by a great staff team. Poolside is lovely, plenty of sun loungers which are really comfortable. Alot of cats around the pool and gardens but mainly stay away from guests except a few that want a fuss which we found nice. The rooms are lovely, they are mainly at the back of the hotel over looking another hotel/apartments, not sure if this is a hotel for guests or more private as didn't see many people other than what seemed like turkish people in different uniforms. Beds are firm so for those wanting a soft mattress I'd suggest getting a duvet to put underneath you for added comfort. Rooms cleaned daily and the staff were lovely although speak no English. A lot of steps and no lifts so should bare this in mind if you had difficulty walking etc. Food is good, lots of different varieties each night and more international and Turkish then British.
All in all, a little gem of a hotel, great staff and a lovely surroundings. Definitely one for those looking for a holiday away from the noise but close enough to travel into the main resorts. We are heading back this June and we can't wait.
This hotel has a very nice peaceful atmosphere. All of the staff are very friendly polite and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and look forward to visiting again later in the year. It’s on a busy main road but you cannot hear any traffic noise in your room. Very easy to travel into bodrum Center taking a dolmus from outside the hotel. Perfect for a relaxing holiday .
Turkey has become very expensive, perhaps bodrum more so than most places. Maybe it’s inflation , maybe it’s greed , but tourists are deserting Turkey in droves to the cheaper resorts in Greece and elsewhere in Europe. We live in Kuşadası and spend a week in Bodrum most years and got an excellent deal at this lovely hotel . £600 for 4 nights for 4 people half board. The hotel is in Torba , about 15 minutes on a dolmuş from town . The beach at Torba is ok , nothing special , mainly sun beds on decking belonging to the seafront bars. However the pool at the hotel is beautiful so you don’t really need to go to the beach. The food is very good , staff great , rooms clean . The hotel is very popular with airline crews on their stopovers so you see lots of pilots and their crews coming and going. When we were there it was very much an adults hotel , very few children , which was great for us ( grown up kids) as there was no screaming around the pool .

This was my fourth visit to this beautiful hotel, and once again it has been an absolute pleasure.
The hotel is small, friendly, and exceptionally well maintained, with beautifully clean and comfortable rooms. A special thank you to Rosa from housekeeping, who does a wonderful job keeping everything spotless each day.
The views from the pool area are stunning, complemented by the hotel’s beautiful gardens which create a truly relaxing atmosphere.
The restaurant offers an excellent selection of fresh, delicious Turkish food, with plenty of choice for everyone.
Most importantly, all of the staff are amazing—warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with a positive, can-do attitude. Their hard work and dedication make every stay special.
I will be returning in September and look forward to seeing everyone again.
Wishing all the staff a wonderful and successful season.
Kindest regards,

firstly beware this hotel is full off steps everywhere. so if your even slightly lacking in mobility i really would not recommend it. rooms are hit and miss, we got put over in the block that staff seem to livein, not ideal. to get out of hotel to main road is a trek and its very busy, migros over the road and bus stop but thats about it nothing else around. pool is beautiful and sunbeds ok. food in restaurant is good but gets a bit repetitive after the first week. staffr attentive . we went with jet2 and absolutley no information whatsoever from hotel. you get taken to your room then from then on you have to guess everything else. it is a lovely hotel in nature and very relaxing if your fit and healthy you will enjoy it but its not for oldies.
