Nice hotel

The children's play section and the various programs they had were very attractive and fun for children, my daughter made and ate pizza herself and enjoyed it very much. I really liked the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, the pools were great.

Perfect

Our holiday at Selectum Colours Bodrum was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and very well looked after. The whole experience was relaxing, enjoyable, and exactly what we hoped for from a special holiday in Bodrum. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere and everything you could need for a relaxing and memorable vacation. The location, the facilities, the food, the cleanliness, and the service all made our stay very special. There was always something to enjoy, whether it was relaxing during the day, enjoying the delicious food and drinks, spending time around the hotel, or simply taking in the beautiful surroundings. We never felt that anything was missing.

One of the biggest highlights of our holiday was the incredible staff. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine kindness made such a difference to our experience. Everyone we met was helpful and welcoming, and it was clear that the team really cares about their guests.

We would especially like to give our sincere thanks to Şule and Cevriye from Housekeeping. They did an excellent job and always made sure everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Their attention to detail and friendly attitude did not go unnoticed. Coming back to a beautifully prepared and spotless room every day made our holiday even more enjoyable. Thank you both for your hard work and for helping make our stay so comfortable.

A very special thank you also goes to Fırat Şeker from the main restaurant. Fırat was always friendly, attentive, and professional. His positive attitude and excellent service made our meals even more enjoyable. He always made us feel welcome and looked after, and his genuine smile and helpful approach really stood out. It is wonderful to meet someone who takes such pride in providing great service. Thank you, Fırat, for making our dining experiences so pleasant.

We would also like to express our special appreciation to Helen and Ege from Guest Relations. They were incredibly helpful, approachable, and professional throughout our stay. Whenever we needed anything or had a question, they were there with a friendly attitude and a genuine desire to help. Their warm personalities made us feel valued as guests, and their attention to our needs was greatly appreciated. Thank you, Helen and Ege, for helping make our holiday feel even more personal and special.

The food at the hotel was another highlight of our stay. There was a great variety of choices, and we enjoyed trying different dishes throughout our holiday. The main restaurant offered plenty of options, and the quality and presentation of the food made every meal something to look forward to. We also appreciated the excellent service from the restaurant team, which added to the overall experience.

The atmosphere throughout the hotel was fantastic. There was a lovely balance between relaxation and entertainment, so everyone could enjoy the holiday in their own way. Whether we wanted to relax, enjoy good food, spend time by the pool, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings, Selectum Colours Bodrum provided the perfect setting.

What really makes a hotel memorable, however, is its people, and Selectum Colours Bodrum has an amazing team. The staff are what turn a nice holiday into a truly unforgettable one. Their smiles, kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail created an atmosphere where we felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated.

We also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the hotel was. Everything was looked after to a very high standard, and this gave us an additional sense of comfort throughout our stay. It was obvious that a lot of effort goes into maintaining the hotel and ensuring guests have a pleasant experience

TripAdvisor Review
Not bad but there are much better for your money

Just got back from a week in Bodrum. I'll base this review more on the hotel rather than the experience we had as a family which was great. The check in was a bit frustrating, it was quite slow and it felt like that kept skipping our check in process to help others that were talking their language so it got a bit frustrating, specially as it was very hot at the time we arrived.

The room was a bit dated and at first I was really disappointed by it but it grew on me as the days passed, however they definitely need some renovation. Little things like the sink plug doesn't work for example although not a massive issue.

I felt that staff were a bit of a mix, some looked miserable and some were very friendly and helpful. The dinner staff were probably the nicest and friendliest but the bar ones weren't as enthusiastic. Speaking of the bar, other than the lobby bar, the drinks served were very basic with a very small menu that only contained 4 cocktails. We were in Antalya in May and they had so much more variety in that hotel. Simple things like swapping the orange liquor with a strawberry one seemed to be an issue for some staff, which doesn't make sense when you run about it seeing as it's an all inclusive and it's literally just swapping the liquor. The lobby bar however had more variety and better bar tenders that knew what they were doing to be honest.

The food was good, dinner was definitely the best with breakfast being our least favourite. I think 3 days in a row I ended up with very row eggs. I like runny eggs but this was barely cooked. On our last day my sons eggs had black stuff on it, assuming from the pan so not sure if they're cleaned properly or just need changing. In general though, the food was great and there was lots of variety every night.

The pool was decent, nothing to shout about but the kids enjoyed it although it's probably more the fact that they were there with their cousins and just wanted to play together. My biggest issue with the pool is the floor. It's quite sharp on the feet and after a game of water polo, myself and 2 others had cuts all over our toes to the point where we couldn't walk properly for 2 days. We raised the concerns to a lifeguard but he literally just walked off and didn't seem interested. I highly recommend buying a water shoe or whatever their called if you want to play water polo to avoid horrible cuts.

The water slides were decent, they only had two but the kids enjoyed them although one ended up getting a deep cut on her palm and lips but maybe she got unlucky as they aren't wild slides or anything.

We did not use the indoor or relaxing pool, they seemed boring and I never saw them busy at all in the week we were there.

The gym was decent but small, there are a couple of cardio machines and two cable machines so when it got busy it was difficult to do much but again in general it did the job.

The set up for the hotel was nice, I liked how it faces the sea and just the greenery surrounding it. It was nice walking back to the hotel rooms and around the hotel. Beware or mosquitos though, specially at night! Lots of cats around too so but it seems like a normal thing in Turkey as it was the same in Antalya and we have no problem with that at all.

Rooms were cleaned nicely by the cleaners, again no issues with that.

The beach was ok, it's not sandy so again water/beach shoes are recommended.

We only went to the Italian restaurant, which you have to book. The food was ok, it wasn't very Italian but it is what it is. Something different I guess although sticking to the main restaurant is enough due to more variety every night.

We walked into town via the beach front, that was lovely. It's not very far from the hotel. There's also 3 supermarkets around 4-10 minutes walk. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you going there to buy snacks or pool/beach items as the store in the hotel is ridiculously priced. A ring floaty coat my wife 35 euros, crisps was 5 euros and a family member bought a sunscreen lotion for 20 euros before we realised the supermarkets nearby that sell all that for cheaper than half the price.

I probably missed a few things. I'm not sure if my review was harsh, specially as we were in Antalya end of May and got a lot more for our money considering this cost over 5k. I guess I was definitely comparing the two and it didn't help.

Entertainment was a big let down I felt. The kids shows were terrible, we had 9 kids with us and they all said how crap it was. Same with some of the activities at the kids club. The adult entertainment was also disappointing, didn't feel like the people doing it cared a lot. Just felt like not a lot of effort was made? But maybe it's just us. Everyone is different.

Overall I think I'd give it a 3.5/5 personally.
