The hotel is located on the beach in the centre of Gumbet with local transport passing in front of the property on a regular basis and a taxi stand situated nearby. The cosmopolitan resort of Bodrum, with its large yacht marina and the impressive St Peter's Castle, are both approximately 3 km away and are definitely worth a visit. There are numerous restaurants, bars, clubs and shops not far from the establishment. Two family-run hotels are combined and operating as a single complex. Their facilities include a common dining room, a charming café and a la carte restaurant. There is a good selection of sports and recreation activities and the complex also offers wireless Internet access in the lobby area. The rooms have tiled floors and are equipped with a satellite TV and individually regulated air conditioning.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We were very satisfied with our stay at Parkim Ayaz Hotel. The hotel's location, direct access to the beach, atmosphere, food, and overall quality of service all met our expectations.
One of the most important aspects of a vacation for us is the entertainment program, and in this regard, the animation team did an excellent job. Every evening featured a different themed program, making each day enjoyable and unique. The hotel is perfect for both families and groups of friends. We have visited in both settings, and each time we left with wonderful memories.
This was our second stay at Parkim Ayaz Hotel. One of the main reasons we chose to return was the animation team, especially Özge. Her warm personality, positive energy, and friendly way of encouraging guests to join the activities made our vacation even more memorable.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and if we visit Bodrum again, we would definitely consider staying at Parkim Ayaz Hotel again.
Parkim Ayaz Hotel Review - Gumbet A Truly Exceptional Stay From the moment we arrived at Parkim Ayaz, we were treated with genuine warmth and professionalism. I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to the entire team for making our check-in process smooth and seamless. What made the experience even better was their flexibility—we arrived early, and rather than asking us to wait, the staff welcomed us to enjoy the hotel's facilities before our room was ready. That thoughtfulness set the tone for our entire stay, and they continued that same level of care through to our checkout. The bar staff truly made our mornings special. Batu and Suleyman created such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere during their morning shifts—they remember your preferences and treat you like family. The evening team of Deniz, Muhammet, and Cem kept that standard high, ensuring every interaction left us with a smile. A special mention must go to the animation team and DJ, coordinated brilliantly by Ozge Yilmaz and Deniz. They filled our days and nights with energy, laughter, and unforgettable activities. Ozge deserves particular recognition for her attentiveness to everyone's needs—she had a gift for making each guest feel seen and valued. Between the two of them, they truly made our stay worth every moment. The hotel excelled in every aspect. The staff's genuine hospitality, exceptional food quality, diverse activities, impeccable cleanliness, and the wonderful mix of guests created the perfect atmosphere. Our mornings were lovely and exciting, and our evenings overflowed with fun and genuine smiles. I would highly recommend Parkim Ayaz to anyone visiting Gumbet. Everything—from the service to the amenities to the people—was simply perfect.
My honest opinion on this hotel. I didn’t read one bad review before I left so felt a little disappointed when there as I was expecting more. My negatives- We used the bubble pool during our stay and had to get up at 7am to make sure we got a sunbed. The sunbeds were dirty. The snack bar was hard work. We got ignored twice while there, drinks didnt come, didn’t receive a meal that was ordered, asked for table to be cleaned and half was done eventually. Snack bar turns into Italian on evening . You are allowed to use it once a week. You have to pay for alcoholic drinks. The 2nd time we went , service not great and the drink that was ordered didn’t even come. We stayed in a large family room. Air con not great. Cleaners did the bare minimum. Sheets were not changed during our 2 week stay, sometime not enough towels left. I found the hallways grubby. Entertainment area was too small for the amount of guests. If you want to see the entertainment you need to be there by 9 and sit through the kids disco first. The beach is covered in cigarette butts. I also picked up glass while there.
Positives- The hotel is in a good location if you want lively and want to do some shopping. We found partners was the only shop that didn’t hassle you as you walked past. It’s nice to be so close to the beach as I love the sea. The sunbeds are free and go right up to the shore so you can lie on your sunbed while dipping your toe in the sea. The bubble pool was the most chilled pool and the staff on the bubble bar were very good. Bar staff by dining room also good. The dining room staff were mainly also very good. We noticed one man in particular who was very attentive and worked down the bottom by the bar. The food was nice , we especially enjoyed Turkish night. The garden in the main area kept very well and it was lovely to see the tortoises wandering around.
Spent a week staying at Parkim Ayaz as a family of 5 with 3 older teenagers. Had 2 rooms, which were unfortunately in different blocks but not that far apart. Rooms were small but clean. Rooms had a small balcony (smallest I've ever seen) with 2 chairs and a rope for drying swimwear. Rooms were serviced every day, fresh towels, beds made, floors cleaned. Like the majority of places in Turkey, paper cannot be flushed, so bin provided and emptied each day (just a reminder if you are planning a trip). Because we are unused to this, we took nappy sacks to ensure used toilet paper created no smell I'm our bathroom/room. The hotel resort is clean with very well kept gardens. There are a few cats roaming which is not unexpected, but there are also free roaming tortoises- which we found super cool and were constantly looking out for. There are 3 separate pools - one with small swim up bar and large slide, large one with organised activities and under water viewing panels and an additional pool which tended to be a bit quieter during our visit. Be aware that 2 of the 3 pools are a continuous depth of about 5ft. There's 2 table tennis tables and 2 pool tables free to use. There's late evening entertainment available. We found the all inclusive food to be varied, hot and tasty. The main restaurant can become busy but that is to be expected. The food areas are clean and well maintained. The self service area is quite large and we did at times feel as though we were not eating 'together' but that is completely normal at buffet style dining on holiday. Vast array of salad and bread choices, chips available at all meals. Dessert selection was huge. The traditional dessert pastries were utterly delicious and eaten daily by us. Compared to previous all inclusive holidays I'd say there was less of a typical "children's food bar" which didn't bother us but I imagine 10 years ago, my children who were looking for daily nuggets, pizza, cheese sticks, fish fingers etc might have been disappointed. The chips were always plentiful and fresh though so that will please many and pasta was usually available. Ice creams are available for most of the day, served in cones or with fresh waffles (can get o a plate if preferred). Choice of flavours (strawberry, caramel, vanilla, banana, pistachio, chocolate) these were utterly delicious. We've been to quite a few all inclusive destinations with free ice cream but never has it been this tasty or good quality- highly impressed! Once in our week we were able to book into the Italian restaurant (which is actually just the snack bar through the day) or the fish restaurant. We chose Italian-this was table service from a limited choice menu. Restaurant was quiet comparef to the main dining room. All Inclusive drinks still applied. It was nice for a change but we actually were disappointed with our desserts and were brought the range of sharing starters without really wanting them or being given the choice to pick. We actually would not have chosen to return even if it was an option. The snack bar is open in between main dining times. It is table service for drinks and food. Small plates of chips burgers hotdogs, chicken strips onion rings etc are offered. Hot and fresh. The snack bar is right next to the ice cream stand, so that can be consumed in here if desired. The staff throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Unlimited bottled water is available from fridges in bar or restsurant areas or from bars. These can be kept cold in wee fridges in room. There's a quiet space upstairs from reception with a few sofas and chairs. Drinks can be served up thete too. We found the staff there to be lovely and spent time as a family playing card games there. Lots of loungers for free both at the pools and at the strip of hotel beach right outside the hotel. Drinks can be taken from the bars easily. Beach is a narrow strip and not particularly pretty or nice sand, but water is great. Water sports company is really close for hiring jet skis, paddle boards, banana boats, and other water experiences. We tried out a few. Prices as advertised on their board. We used the hotel as a base for additional holiday experiences, did scuba diving with Happy Bubbles diving company, did a self drive buggy safari, and a ferry trip to Kos for the day. All in all a great family holiday, and I would recommend the Parkim Ayaz and would return here if visiting Turkey again. The standard of the hotel was expected given the price and exceeded my expectations.
So, myself & my husband went to Parkim Ayaz hotel between 28th June & 12th July. We had a sea view room & ohh what a stunning view, you can see the whole bay of Gumbet. This is a medium/large hotel, but not massive, it has 3 pools but we mostly sat around the main pool with the swim up bar & jacuzzi at one end, & went to the beach a few times. The food is all inc & FANTASTIC, & If anyone says different, they must be the fussiest people in the world, there's everything you could want, inc breakfast boiled, fried & omelette eggs salads, cereals, & more, lunch & dinner there's grilled chicken, fish including Salmon, chips, salad, veggies, & the desserts & cakes are divine inc profiterols & icecream. There's also another place you can have lunch & snacks, inc burgers, pizza, pasta, chips etc. There is a walkway in between the hotel & the beach & that's it, you are RIGHT on the beach & the walkway goes around the whole bay. The staff are fantastic & friendly, but the reception staff needs to work on their friendly smiles, but they do their job. I want to thank all the staff at the bars & the dining rooms, they are the most friendly & wonderful people, including our gorgeous room cleaner who went above & beyond, miss you already hunni. Air con is Free, the beach beds are Free, but the safe you have to pay for but we always keep our valuables/money in our locked suitcase, plus I leave my rings & watches out & had NO problems. Just outside is all the shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, all on your doorstep. It can be a little noisy up untill 1am, but it's depending on where in the hotel you are. The entertainment is on every night except Sunday & is superb. & the have kids club dancing just before the main acts. The 1st week was great with people not putting towels down early, but by the 2nd week, people were putting towels on beds around the pool as early as 2am.. (not good) There is pool entertainment every day in the afternoon & is brilliant & funny. All in all I would reccomend this hotel, it's fabulous. We will definately be back.. thankyou Parkim Ayaz.. 😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
